The “Good War” of Italian Immigrant Anarchists in the United States 1914-1920 (New Publication)

In the United States between 1914 and 1920, the greatest armed revolutionary offensive of the 20th century was unleashed against the governmental, judicial, industrial and financial institutions of the most important capitalist country on the planet. These direct actions weren’t the work of the militant factions of a political party or of a more or less radical mass movement, but of a handful of anarchists who had emigrated from Italy at the turn of the century. It was from this context that Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti came, sadly famous their execution on the electric chair in 1927.

Developing Action Capacity: A Path

“We are not special. Our skills are not overly technical or advanced, and our tools are simple to acquire. If you are reading this, you are capable of doing what we do.”

– APD Patrol Car Torched in Lakewood

While I agree with this sentiment, the reader is left with many questions about how to develop such a capacity for action, even if they are motivated. What exactly does it take to not get caught carrying out heavy actions like arson? This is especially important in the long run; not getting caught for a single arson is one thing, but being able to continue carrying out attacks in the face of heightened repressive attention is quite another.

For anyone who wants to carry out actions like this, but isn’t doing so yet, I’ve sketched an outline of the steps I think are necessary to sustain hard-hitting attacks on domination (limited to the topic of “operational” considerations, i.e., acquiring skills). This brief outline is intended to orient you and provide a “learning path” — each step has recommended reading that actually goes into the appropriate amount of depth on the subject. Use the Tails operating system to visit these links, which runs from a USB drive and leaves no trace on your computer. What I’ve written here is by no means definitive, and I hope to spark a dialogue about any operational aspects I may have neglected, as well as anything outside this scope that is important for sustaining and intensifying the capacity for action.

Deepening bonds

For anyone who doesn’t already have an action group, deciding who to act with is the first obstacle to overcome. I prefer to act in groups of two or three; it’s easier to maintain a high level of trust and agility with just a small handful of people. Most actions don’t require more than three participants, and when they do, action groups can collaborate. I prefer not to act alone because some aspects of actions are less risky when there are at least two people (for example, having a lookout). Continue reading Developing Action Capacity: A Path

Poster : The frontiers are my prison

sometimes you have to run against a wall, even if you know that it will
not be the wall but you breaking down – but this moment – not turning
back – it’s about dignity. Eventually it’s these moments which become
the cracks that turn the walls to ruins

while armies, weapons, ammunition and war-machines are crossing borders
everywhere to expand or preserve power, to kill

while commodities cross the globe to be delivered to the door of those
with money, in the blink of an eye

while technology is reaching every dark and unknown corner of this earth
and of our lives, without boundaries

San Francisco (USA): to the onslaught of the robots-taxis!

San Francisco , to the onslaught of the robots-taxis!

Whether their designers call them “robot-taxi”, “self-driving car” or “autonomous taxi without driver”, what is certain is that they have been multiplying on the streets of California for some time. Initially authorized in this North American state in February 2022 with a «security driver» on board to regain control in case of major problems, these driverless electric vehicles were finally authorized to circulate alone in August 2023. Two operators then invaded the streets of San Francisco with 600 robot-taxis, Cruise (subsidiary of General Motors) and Waymo (subsidiary of Google, more precisely of its parent company Alphabet), by running them day and night to make trips to book and pay by smartphone.

In order to reassure the good citizens while assuring the profits of the techno-industry, the Californian regulator regularly publishes reports of incidents in return for its travel authorizations, indicating for example that in the first five months of 2023, it had registered more than 240 in San Francisco, during which a Cruise or Waymo vehicle « could have created a security risk» (for walkers, cyclists and other vehicles). But we’ll not exaggerate, these two companies can at the same time conceal the figures about the accidents actually caused by their driverless cars, this time in the name of the sacrosanct «trade secret».

Waymo Vehicles Attacked in Solidarity With Palestine and Atlanta

In the past several weeks, we used hammers and knives to sabotage multiple Waymo self-driving vehicles in San Francisco. We attacked Waymo in solidarity with the Palestinian people and resistance. Waymo is owned by Alphabet, Google’s parent company. Google, together with Amazon, has a $1.2 billion contract to provide cloud computing services to “Israel” and its military as part of Project Nimbus.

As anarchists, we oppose the proliferation of this dystopian technology on our streets. Each car is a mobile 360-degree surveillance camera and Waymo has already turned over footage to the police. We have a unique opportunity to attack this industry in a critical time and place. In November, Waymo’s competitor Cruise was forced to recall its entire fleet after one of its cars struck and dragged a pedestrian.

Luxury hotels and airbnbs in Exarchia were spray painted in solidarity with Palestine.

In the last 6 years, Israeli funds and businessmen have been spreading the tentacles of their capital in the neighborhoods of Athens and especially in the Exarchia district, selling gentrification, urban culture and luxuries while contributing to the displacement of the locals and the poor.

Fire for Tesla: Berlin,Germany

Fire for Tesla: Berlin

Two Teslas were set on fire in Rummelsburg on February 7 and two Tesla charging stations on Vulkanstraße on February 8.

We think that Tesla is an ideal target for our attacks.

Because:

> Several armies use Tesla’s Starlink satellite system in their wars. Including Israel in Gaza. Also Ukraine. Tesla’s Starlink infrastructure is an important military player and attacks on Tesla can be a sign everywhere: against every war!

APD Patrol Car Torched in Lakewood [Atlanta, GA]

APD Patrol Car Torched in Lakewood

One APD vehicle was burned overnight as an initial response to the repressive operation of February 8, which involved three house raids and the arrest of John “Jack” Mazurek, who is being held without bail.

We wish to dispel any notion that people will take this latest wave of repression lying down, or that arresting alleged arsonists will deter future arsons.

Jack is accused of participating in the arson attack of July 1, 2023, when eight APD motorcyles were burned at the current police training center that Cop City is intended to replace. The group that claimed responsibility for that action called for the movement against Cop City to develop into an urban guerrilla struggle. This is still the only sensible course of action for anyone in Atlanta who considers themselves a serious revolutionary.

Attack on Police Union Cars in Berlin, Germany

Attack on Police Union Cars in Berlin

The GdP is the largest German police union. It has over 200,000 members across Germany and is a member of the DGB. The GdP is more than one union, but a lobby organization for the interests of German cops.

Their political agenda is as dull and small-minded as one would expect from a police association: more money, more weapons, more powers to use force. Its representatives are busy giving interviews, appearing at congresses such as the European Police Congress and the German Security Conference, and listening to ministers and senior officials across the country. Not infrequently with success.

We received and we spread these two writings from Luigi, who has been under house arrest for 6 months with all restrictions for the Scripta scelera investigation against the internationalist anarchist newspaper “Bezmotivny”.

First of all, I want to congratulate and salute the comrades from Třídní Válka, for their commitment and perseverance. In these last two sad years of war they have been active, including and especially in contacting revolutionary groups abroad, something that – in my opinion – few in our latitudes have done.
