Space Tech Expo Europe
Space Tech Europe takes place from November 14 to 16, 2023, for the sixth time in the exhibition halls of the city of Bremen. It is Europe’s largest and most important exhibition and conference for space technologies and services. Here, the facets of the aerospace industry are brought to life through in-depth discussions and the companies involved. The aim: business, networking and presentation of new developments. Halls 4 to 6 of the show are dedicated to space production and services, components and systems engineering for spacecraft, as well as space launchers and satellite programs. More than 650 exhibitors from over 40 countries are present. A significant proportion of these exhibitors operate under the Military keyword. Alongside the five largest space companies Ariane, Orbitale Hochtechnologie Systeme (OHB), Airbus Defense and Space, the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the Center for Applied Space Technology and Microgravity (ZARM), DSI Aerospace, Polaris Spacecraft, Shieldex and Ferchau, the city of Bremen and its university (Humans on Mars) will also be represented. Parallel to the show and at the same venue, a conference is held to discuss technical, political and strategic details.

We took advantage of the trade fair to take an offensive action by an anti-capitalist and anti-militarist climate movement in the late 
afternoon of November 14. As participants gathered inside for networking, we met to express our hostility. We blocked off the street behind the exhibition center with barricades of burning tires, and threw bottles of paint and fireworks against the glass facades of the halls. It all came crashing down. The aim was to interrupt their comfortable exchanges with an offensive intervention. Representatives of the arms industry had to be confronted with the consequences of their business.

The mapuche political prisoners of the Angol Prison call on their mapuche traditional authorities who have backed them in this long and painful hunger strike to come to Angol Prison, now that we have seen that there is no political will to resolve our demands on the part of the government and the prison.
Those who, entrenched in biased racism, have delayed a solution, leading us to the extreme of our conditions of bodily health. For this reason, faced with this humiliating attitude of those who aim to push us, seeking to bully our families, submit our children to degrading treatment, all with the ultimate intention of making us abandon our political and human rights.
We the Mapuche political prisoners, owe ourselves to the joint and collective ways that indicate our traditional Mapuche ordering. This is why we make this call, to our Mapuche authorities, to anounce before our communities and relatives, the difficult decision to carry out a THIRST STRIKE in the coming hours, to push the government to resolve our demands.

The fire broke out at around 3 a.m. on October 6, 2023, in the parking lot of the Tesla Chambery Center on Route Nationale 1006 in this quiet village of around 1,000 inhabitants. The mayor immediately arrived at the Tesla dealership, shortly after the first sounds of an explosion and just before the firefighters, who quickly worked to extinguish the blaze. Le Dauphiné Libéré reports that 45 firefighters took part in the operation. In all, 14 Tesla cars were destroyed by the flames, before the fire was brought under control by the fire department.

Our real motivation for our project, however, is not media attention, but concrete attack and destruction. The exploitation of new sources of raw materials, mines and factories to implement the so-called energy transition and the shift to electrified individual transport is in full swing: megafactories exploiting groundwater; new lithium mines in Portugal; nickel and gold from stolen indigenous land in Indonesia; exploitation of vanadium deposits in Norway and rare earths on Samí territory in Sweden; cobalt from the Congo… the industrial exploitation of copper, cobalt and nickel on the seabed; the supply of hydrogen from artificial islands in the North Sea or via neo-colonial import strategies from Namibia and Chile … the costs of this energy transition and of continued exploitation are now common knowledge. The shift towards green capitalism is inevitably accompanied by a intensification of the exploitation of people and nature!
There are an infinite number of targets, means and methods for attacking, delaying and sabotaging this process.
We have chosen to focus on an infrastructure that is currently developing rapidly and is present almost everywhere: electric charging stations. They are a necessary component of the Green New Deal’s transportation shift and therefore make an ideal, low-threshold target.

Munich : the TV truck didn’t make it through the night
At around 3:40 a.m. on Sunday night, June 26, a satellite transmission truck belonging to the ZDF television network was set on fire in Munich’s Glockenbach district. The precious technological cargo of the special truck is certainly unusable, and the damage is enormous: several hundred thousand euros.
The burnt-out TV truck was part of a mobile production center, which had broadcast live from St. Maximilian’s Church on Sunday morning the mass of nationally renowned pastor Rainer Maria Schiessler.
