Blank spaces and black letters – On the repressive operation “Sibilla”
To express annoyance or disappointment in the face of power is not for us. Convinced as we are that between freedom and authority not only there is an unbridgeable gap but also that the former is the expression of irreducible otherness towards the latter and that the two are incompatible and irreconcilable, we persevere in firmly believing that the only possible relation with power is a relation of war. Either you are subjected to it or you destroy it.
This is the reason why resignation, surrender and, ultimately, capitulation become clear in the indifference towards the State. We anarchists retain an idea of freedom which is too extended and uncontrollable to be allowed to be “satisfied”. Our idea defines and – where theory flows into practice – intends to express integral and absolute freedom which scorns all kinds of compliance with power, which effectively smashes the false democratic “freedoms” being given to us, which in an eternal yearning for revolt strikes with action the persons and structures of power, disintegrating the space and time of authority.

Trentino, Italy : Repressive operation and new measures against anarchists

via: ilrovescio.info
Translated by act for freedom now!
Yesterday, 25th February 2022, police notified three custodial measures to as many comrades – from the documents we learn that the recipients would be 4 in total. They concern one custodial measure in prison, one house arrest and two compulsory residence orders in municipalities outside Trentino (one in the Trevigiano area and the other in Trieste).
The accusations refer to events different to one another and also distant in time. The only common thread seems to be the struggle against prison. After the revolts that took place in Italian jails in response to the management of the epidemic, attention has become more stringent concerning those who mobilize outside the walls on this obviously explosive front (a local example is proceedings opened in Trento for incitement to commit crime following gatherings outside the prison of Spini di Gardolo in 2021). In the orders notified yesterday, the prosecutors (Raimondi, Ognibene, Profiti, the same as in operation Renata) talk about the intent “to impose their anti-prison ideology”.

Italy – 26th February 22, demonstration in Busto Arsizio, 3pm, Piazza Trento e Trieste

26th FEBRUARY – DEMO IN BUSTO ARSIZIO – 3pm, Piazza Trento e Trieste
WE DEMONSTRATE AGAINST:
THE GREEN PASS
The introduction of the “health” pass and its unlimited prorogation (as intended by the Draghi government) mean the definitive realization of surveillance society: a dystopian society where control on individuals becomes total through the digitization of all fields and activities of life and where rights and social services are granted only if you have the requisites of “good citizen” (not by chance it is run by the ministry of economy in Italy…), following the Chinese model of “social credit”. Even if the state of emergency ended, the green certificate or a variant of it (see the European Digital Identity) would be maintained if we don’t oppose it resolutely: the Green Pass is to be totally rejected, without ifs or buts!
OBLIGATORY “VACCINATION”
They started by introducing obligatory injection of “anti-Covid” experimental genic “vaccines” for some work categories (first health workers, then education workers, the police and the military), next they imposed it to age groups (for now the over fifties). In spring they will want to inject the serum to 0 to 5-year old children, as declared by the CTS (Technical Scientific Committee). Thus continues a military/vaccination campaign based on terror and blackmail, something else altogether than informed consent.
Enough with Obligatory Health Treatments or passed off as voluntary, in fact under the threat of making your life impossible!

Italy and Germany : From Rome to Bialystok, passing by Berlin

From Rome to Bialystok, passing by Berlin
What has an anti-anarchist operation in Italy got to do with Berlin?
Operation “Bialystok” took place in Italy on 12 June 2020. Yet another attack on the anarchist milieu, adding to the long tradition of state attacks against rebellious structures and individuals. Main actors in this “operation” are two prosecutors and their snoops from the ROS – the “Group for Special Operations” (acronym: ROS), the only Carabinieri investigative body with jurisdiction over both organized crime and terrorism. With a clenched fist and a lot of clumsy detective work, they have been trying to establish personal connections of comrades and completely monitor “suspects” for months since the book launch of “The Anarchists of Bialystok” (which was translated into Italian in early 2018) and the arson attack against a Carabinieri barracks in the same year. This produced a small mountain of files, filled with lots of imaginative information. And yet – it may sound absurd – the result of these investigations was that on the day of the “operation” five arrest warrants and two house arrests were executed. As a result, the arrested comrades were in custody for 9 months. The last one to be released recently, Claudio, was in custody for 13 months and the mostly in solitary confinement. But if it had been up to the ROS and the Roman prosecutor’s office, the scale of this operation would have been much more drastic and larger. Because the intended goal of the investigations became clear only by the meticulous evaluation of the currently available files.

Carrara, Italy: I hate you in all the languages of the world : Call for an international mobilization on 25th April and 1st May

I HATE YOU IN ALL THE LANGUAGES OF THE WORLD
Call for an international mobilization on 25th April and 1st May
Over the past twenty years there has been a distancing from revolutionary ideas: even comrades have stopped believing that their thoughts have the possibility and ability to go beyond. On the contrary, revolutionary ideas are more necessary than ever at the present time.
To stop struggling, believing in the possibility of “winning”, i.e. of really destroying society and disrupting a history that is swiftly veering towards catastrophe – health, ecological, military catastrophe – has made the oppressed weaker, allowing the bosses to take an authoritarian turn in the management of society. This bitter truth has been more evident than ever in recent years, in a continuum which expressed itself – in the past two years alone – in massacres in jails in March 2020, in factories kept open by ferocious pressure from Confindustria while individuals were locked up at home, in an economic recovery which cared about no one, as dramatically proved by deaths at workplaces, massacres for profit such as that in Stresa, attacks and murders outside the gates of warehouses whose workers were on strike (and the list is endless). It is precisely the absence of a concrete revolutionary horizon that is allowing the bosses to sleep peacefully, authorizing them to demand more and more.

Turin, Italy – On the trial for the demo that followed the eviction of Asilo (and on operation “Scintilla”)

On 31st January 2022 the court of Turin delivered the sentence, concluding the first grade of the trial concerning the demo of 9th February 2019, two days after the eviction of Asilo in via Alessandria and the start of operation Scintilla, which led to the arrest of 6 comrades, while another comrade managed to escape the claws of the State and be on the run for over a year.
The eviction marked the closure of a place of meeting, organization and above all struggle, which over the years had defied a normality of repression, control and war on the poor, by opposing evictions, raids, repatriation centres and jails.

Italy – Let’s talk about techno-sciences and new the accumulation of capitalisms

via: fuoridallariserva
We are publishing an article from last June’s 6th issue of the Bulletin of the Biblioteca Spazio Anarchico [anarchist library]“Lunanera” in Cosenza. The article was discussed in its time with comrades editors of the anarchist paper Vetriolo during the initiative “Science and the State” of 27th July 2021. Concerning the ongoing pandemic, everybody can see that the rapidity of contrasting information and the senseless measures that characterize the current governments’ dramas, are no longer the result of opportunistic choices made by those who exploit us, but they now have the pathetic taste of “repetition compulsion”. It is therefore appropriate to reaffirm some of the fundamental points of our analyses, the result of critical thinking and not cold algorithms.
Politicians, scientists and pharmaceutical entrepreneurs
will be no longer able to leave their homes tranquilly.
There will be another Nuremberg and it will
involve the whole of the system from left to right.
I want a new world and we’ll have it.
(Miguel Bosé, Mexico 20th April 2021)
This paper is intended to be an in-depth analysis of what has already been discussed in previous issues of the Bulletin. The tools we equip ourselves with to analyze what is happening around us are not the result of a specialization in the field or a sectoralization of our struggles, but are built day by day in the exploitation that we suffer on our skin and in the self-determination that distinguishes our experience. The considerations raised by many parties in interpreting the events that have been taking place for more than a year, dwell on the dynamics of screwing up the repressive machine: loss of freedom, autonomy, fundamental rights.

Lecce, Italy : Blow it  up

Blow it up
In order to “convince” people to be vaccinated, but above all to loyally follow the imposed rules and be obedient, the State through its Governments with the support of its technicians and the media, has terrorized and blackmailed, taken away rights and freedom, threatened, humiliated, denigrated and ridiculed, censored, suspended work, prevented work, divided society in two, nourished the epidemic, pointed the finger, condemned, criminalized, lied, misled, confused, created anxiety and fear. Still before and even worse, it murdered 14 prisoners in March 2020, prisoners who were demanding not to die like mice in a cage by rebelling along with many others.
The State chose to eradicate the problem by murdering some so that it would be clear to everyone that the so-called emergency phase that was opening up would take on precise connotations. Restrictions on freedom and abundantly spread terror, but with the leitmotif of “everything will be all right”.

Italy: Measure and process updates for “Operation Bialystok”

via: darknights

—————–

January 2022
As we approach the end of the trial of Operation Bialystok, it seems to us to be the right moment to spread some considerations on its progress. Although we are not interested in following the pace dictated by repression, nor in taking a victimistic or alarmist stance in the face of the activities of police institutions, we believe it is important to share information and impressions about what is happening at the court level. By conscious choice, we will summarize aspects and moments that we consider noteworthy, at the expense of a detailed and chronological description of the trial in which we are involved.
As far as the framework of the investigation is concerned, we refer to the texts “Sull’operazione Bialystok” (On the Bialystok operation) already published and circulated on the web and “Testo e contesto” (Text and context).
At the time of writing all defendants in this proceeding are at large. On January 27th a positive response was received to a request for the end of the precautionary measures to which 4 defendants were still subject (3 obligations to stay and one obligation to present themselves for weekly signatures), so that at the moment only one person remains under obligations to stay. The differences in conditions are mainly due to the different timing in the presentation of the appeals which brought the same before different courts, and to the specificity of the individual positions regarding the crimes charged.

Italy – When they come knocking…

«When they kick at your front door
How you gonna come?
With your hands on your head
Or on the trigger of your gun…»
At the beginning of December one of the tele-virologists most loved by journalists affirmed that freedom of choice constitutes a problem which should be solved by those in power. That anyone who insists on not obeying voluntarily should be compelled to do so by force. That the freedom to not get vaccinated, for example, can only exist for a hermit who lives alone in the middle of the desert. As for the others, the citizens of society, “evidently there is no alternative for these people than obligation, but serious obligation, that which sends the carabinieri to your home to get you”. The peremptory affirmation made the on-duty journalist hosting him chuckle (and certainly not because of his faltering Italian). A week later, the army general entrusted by the government with leading the war against the terrible virus declared that he and his troops were ready: along with Santa Claus, «he will deliver vaccinations door to door». In addition to the elderly isolated in the most remote villages, the military are “ready to vaccinate the whole lot” — of children…

Lugano,Switzerland – Eppur la nostra idea [And yet our idea]…

A report on two animated days in Lugano
Here is a [slightly abbreviated] report on the attempt to re-occupy the CSOA [anarchist occupied social centre] il Molino in Lugano. There is much to be said and this text doesn’t claim to be exhaustive, but it gives the point of view of those who were present at the time and lived through it.
29th December
On Wednesday 29th December a group of comrades went into the area of the ex-slaughterhouse to attempt to re-occupy the buildings left intact after the demolition of the housing area of the social centre that took place during the night of 29th May 2021.
After a moment’s exploration, we rolled up our sleeves to start the work of putting the place back in order and cleaning up. The idea was to put life back into the place and make it accessible from outside, and a solidarity gathering of about fifty people in the square opposite gave us the right encouragement. Italy – Updates concerning Mauro Rossetti Busa

Mauro Busa tells us that since November his mail has been under censorship again up until 22nd May, subject to extension. He is continuing to do hunger strikes (he also writes about self-harming, for example cuts, but it is not clear whether this refers to the present or the past) in order to be transferred near Lucca so that he can see his family whom he hasn’t seen since 2018.
For anyone who wants to send him money, he says prison rules have changed and it is no longer possible to send money orders but only bank transfers:

Italy – News from the prison of Spini di Gardolo: beatings and abuse

During a gathering outside the prison of Spini di Gardolo on 9th January 2022, we managed to communicate with some prisoners and here is what they told us about the current situation in the prison, which the director and the local authorities take great care not to make known.
A prisoner asked us to deliver to the prison guarantor (for the PAT, A. Menghini) his version of an episode which a prison union recently passed off in the media as “assault on the guards”. The prisoner maintained he was brutally beaten by the guards, who later also seized his crutches. After the beating he wasn’t adequately examined or taken to hospital.

Sardinia,Italy – On Operation “Sibilla” by Sardinian Anarchists

On Operation “Sibilla”, from Sardinia
[Note: all the repressive measures inflicted on comrades struck by operation Scintilla were annulled by the court of review on 16th December 2021]
SEMPRI AINNATIS!
SOLIDARITY WITH THE RECALCITRANT!
“…The use being made of the charge of incitement, whether employed “purely” or as “garnishing” to other charges, is significant because it is aimed at breaking the link between revolutionary action and the propaganda of ideas that it inspires and supports, so as to push us to a watered-down adjustment in our convictions and our modes of expression…”
(Vetriolo, issue 6)
With these few lines we want to express all our solidarity and closeness to the anarchist comrades arrested and investigated following the umpteenth investigation from Perugia prosecutors which takes the name of “Operation Sibilla” this time.
