Bristol, UK: Anarchist comrade Toby Shone’s SCPO was rejected by the court!
To the wild celebrations in the public gallery, the presiding judge rejected the application for anarchist comrade Toby Shone’s Serious Crime Prevention Order, declaring there were no grounds for it to be applied under the circumstances. Shouts of ‘Not one step back!’ were responded to with Toby shouting ‘The Revolution is inevitable!’
The result of the court means that comrade Toby will now be released at the earliest in August of this year, if his application for electronic tag is permitted. It is highly likely that it will be refused. If refused, he will be released on December 28th 2022 on automatic halfway release. The extreme conditions of surveillance and control, that would have led to him not only being cut off from his comrades, but his family, friends and partner. It would have restricted his way of living, his ability to fuction as an anarchist, with many conditions that have been listed before, such as his use of electronic devices through to him having to declare who visits his residence. It would have lasted 5 years and could have been renewed. If it had been broken by Toby it would have led to him serving 5 years in the hellholes of the UK prison system. While the investigation was going on, the anarchist media collective Pramen and its website and social networks were recognised as an extremist formation. Athens, Greece: Claim of Responsibility / Fire against a company that collaborates with prisons by Anarchists
Claim of Responsibility / Fire against a company that collaborates with prisons
As a small participation in the Easter celebrations, we carried out an arson attack on a KONE car of a multinational company that collaborates with prisons, in Ioustinianou street in Exarcheia on Saturday night 23/4.
The class bias of the judiciary is made clear by a series of cases involving accused businessmen, politicians, cops and fascists, who are put on record, end up with acquittals or short sentences, as opposed to the proletarian accused that are piled up in prisons all over the country for years. Especially in the case of political prisoners with a militant attitude throughout their imprisonment, the demonstrativeness of the State and the authorities unfolds at every opportunity. With special conditions of detention, lengthy procedures, late decisions, interruption of permits, etc., imprisoned comrades are confronted with a system which on the one hand depoliticizes their action and on the other hand creates a regime of exception around them. Athens,Chalandri : Claim of responsibility action at the Court of Justice of Peace (Greece)
Claim of responsibility action at the Court of Justice of Peace(The Magistrate’s Court is a court of first instance in civil cases and is composed of a single Judge, the Magistrate, assisted by the Registrar.)
“Or will they be left only with the stubborn desire to continue on their way and continue to risk themselves and everything else? An impetus perhaps to be tested and so that they may therefore have the courage to tell others that to be tested in this fierce struggle means de facto that you are creating, and therefore living now and not in some glorious future, the freedom that motivates and animates our steps.”
So here we are. At a time when capitalism and market domination, having exhausted the “solutions” to defuse the crises they themselves cause, are choosing to turn to arms once again. Another diffuse conflict between the “superpowers” and capital over the redistribution of the sources of wealth and the readjustment of spheres of influence. At the apparent end of the covid-19 global crisis, it is time to set the chessboard again. Continue reading Athens,Chalandri : Claim of responsibility action at the Court of Justice of Peace (Greece)
About the upcoming trial regarding the incident of 2018 with the hunter in Evia (Greece)
23-04-2022
Republished from a counter-information website. “About the upcoming trial regarding the incident of 2018 with the hunter in Evia On May 26, 2022, the court case for the incident that happened about 3.5 years ago, on December 26, 2018, in Evia, concerning a dispute with a hunter, will be heard at the Single-Member Court of Appeal for Felony Cases in Chalkida. The persons brought on trial are two.
For reasons not at hand, however, both this text and the political opening of the case is now being done only by the signator. What happened in December 2018 was a spontaneous attempt to prevent a hunter from pursuing his killing hobby and kill an animal. After being asked repeatedly to stop to no avail, tension ensued, the result of which was that his shotgun was thrown somewhere in the woods. With the hunter in a furious state the end of the incident came with our departure from the scene. The hunter called the police and as a result we were stopped on the route by a number of their vehicles and arrested us.
The charges held against us were robbery (for the shotgun) which is a felony and theft (of a cell phone) which is a misdemeanor. At the same time, a restrictive condition to leave the country was imposed, which is still in force today. More about the incident and the statements, role and attitude of the hunting clubs on the case can be found in the previous text published here (editor’s note: this text can be found translated inside the blog here). [Glasgow] May Day Action Against Landlords(pictures)
May Day, International Worker’s Day, is a day of struggle. It was established out of the struggle to free Chicago anarchists, arrested following the armed defence of a workers’ strike for the eight-hour day in May 1886. Four anarchists were hanged for it, and one more robbed the hangman with a bomb. From the moment the hangman’s rope was set around their necks on an autumn’s day in 1887, this day has been commemorated as a day of revolt by anarchists and anti-capitalists around the world. For, as has been proven time and again, the only dead movements are the movements that forget their dead.
Today, we find ourselves in the midst of a so-called “cost of living crisis”. We have lost count of the unending capitalist crises we have lived through in the past few years; market crashes, wars and pandemics. This one takes the form of a direct attack on the most exploited within society, as the cost of our most basic nessecities (housing, energy, water and food, among others) skyrockets. Once again, we are the ones expected to bear the brunt of their crisis, to sacrifice ourselves at the altar of profit for crumbs. Continue reading [Glasgow] May Day Action Against Landlords(pictures)

UK: Two statements from anarchist prisoner Toby Shone
First of May 2022
As a minimal gesture I refuse to eat from the prison servery to mark the Revolutionary 1st of May, to join in the demonstrations around the world using my body as a means of solidarity and to protest the denial of my correspondence by the security company G4S. I will not be isolated from my family, friends and comrades and I continue to define my anti-political convictions. Honour and dignity to all those who have fallen.
Remember Haymarket.

Statement for J11 International Day of Solidarity with Marius Mason & All Long-Term Anarchist Prisoners
“We will have to go to sea and embark on a journey into the unknown. It is up to us to choose the course from the march. We are free to make mistakes.” Gustavo Rodriguez – ‘Brief Informative Report About The Weather’.
An embrace of life, fire and complicity to all imprisoned anarchist comrades for this June 11th. I have been invited to participate by the comrades in North America, for which they have my thanks and agreement. Whilst I am not condemned to a particularly long sentence, I faced well over a decade at my trial last October in “Operation Adream” and next week I will go to trial again in Bristol on the 6th of May. This time the “anti-terrorist” prosecutors demand up to five years house arrest and special surveillance, which could see me returning to prison frequently. It also has a precedent for the rest of the anarchist space in the UK if the State is successful. International mobilisations are essential for learning about and combining our shared struggles. Opening a space for discussion and praxis enables us to escape the walls and barbed wire which divides and isolates us. I’m locked up for 23 hours a day in a solitary cell, subject to enhanced monitoring and censorship, categorised as “high risk” and placed on the “escape list”. I could not care less. I will leave this place without stepping back one millimetre.
“One who has a why to live can bear almost any how.” – F. Nietzsche.
There are storms gathering on the horizon.

Munich (Germany): Raids and charges (article 129) against anarchists
On Tuesday 26.04.2022, coordinated raids were carried out in various flats in Munich and at the anarchist library Frevel, as part of an investigation into criminal organization.
Those involved are accused of incitement to criminal activity through anarchist publications. The cops confiscated almost every anarchist newspaper and pamphlet along with all printing equipment. Two of the accused were identified and DNA samples were taken; the two were then released. All of the accused are out of custody.
The cops are trying to intimidate, scare, and terrorize us, but we are not surprised that in times of state of emergencies and war, the state is cracking down on its enemies, on anarchist ideas and on the means to spread them.
More info will follow…
No speculations…

And one beautiful night, internet was cut in a good part of the country…
“Sabotage”: several severed cables at the root of a major internet outage in France
L’Obs/Toms Guide, April 27, 2022 (excerpts)
This Wednesday morning, April 27, many French people are complaining of difficulties to connect. And for good reason: incidents are multiplying in France, following a major sabotage. An official state source confirmed to “L’Obs” that this was a “coordinated act of malice”, particularly “serious” and “very rare”. According to AFP, several French cities have experienced Internet connection cuts during the night after cables were cut. Paris, Lyon, Grenoble, Reims, Strasbourg and Lille were particularly affected.
A telecom engineer said that “around 3:20, 3:40 and 5:20, cables of several long-distance fiber networks have been partially cut.” These were cables “from Paris to Strasbourg, Lyon and Lille“. These “long-distance” fiber optic cables connect major French cities, particularly for infrastructure such as data centers. It is also through this network that fixed Internet access (ADSL and fiber) and certain telephone lines function.

The quasi-simultaneity of the outages last night (between 3:20 and 5:20) indeed seems suspicious, especially since it is not just “general public” connections that have been affected, but strategic underground long-distance links used for peering and IP transit, linking Lyon, Strasbourg, Caen, Lille, and Rennes to Paris, and on at least three locations, they were several hundred kilometers apart.
By domino effect, several local and (inter)national operators using these conduits or leasing bandwidth on these fiber links, such as Sparkle, Alphalink, euNetworks, Colt, F5, Zayo or Netalis, are affected by these events. At Netalis, the failure was confirmed this morning via a particularly transparent announcement, the operator adding that the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region would have been for a moment totally isolated from the Internet. The major incident has in practice isolated varied transmission equipment from the Internet backbones of long distance transport operators.
It is important to understand that the locations of these cables are not very accessible. They are not cabinets that can be found in the street, but buried pipes [under covers, or along SNCF tracks, highways and VNF canals]. A source in the telecom industry tells us that the cut on the Paris-Lyon cable is located in the village of La Chapelle-la-Reine (Seine-et-Marne) and is due to “an act of vandalism”. “Le Parisien” reports that cables were cut in Fresnes-en-Woëvre (Meuse), Meaux and Souppes-sur-Loing (Seine-et-Marne), and Le Coudray-Montceaux (Essonne).
