Labège (Haute-Garonne): Before daybreak (France)

IAATA, June 2025

On the night of the 25th, a cell tower in Labège, south of Toulouse, was set on fire. A humble contribution to the global resistance effort against the war effort of states and industrialists here and abroad.

The intensification of digital capacity within and outside of Europe is one of the many projects for the war efforts of the countries in the transatlantic alliance. The aim is to establish a digital stronghold.

MESSAGE TO THE CLIMATE MOVEMENT

PDF: A4 | Letter

Throughout the last decade, both in Europe and beyond, a new generation of activists has brought the climate movement to the forefront. Groups such as Extinction Rebellion, Fridays for Future, and Ende Gelände have succeeded in breaking out of the sidelines, convincing millions to commit themselves in defence of the planet. It wasn’t so long ago that few were even aware of the possibility of climate catastrophe – nowadays the very opposite is the case. I have no intention to downplay these achievements. What I do want to draw attention to, however, is that climate activism has made little or no difference to something very important, to the only thing which really counts: to actually lowering the amount of carbon emitted by humans across the planet. Such emissions continue to increase every year, as do average global temperatures, weather catastrophes, and rates of species extinction. Earning recognition from across society has not been enough. In all of its core aims, the climate movement remains a decisive failure.

I have a suggestion as to why this is the case. Because the climate movement remains stuck in the assumption that those in power must be convinced to bring about the necessary changes for us. Despite utilising a direct action aesthetic, most climate activism focuses on getting media attention (including mainstream social media, which is as much an extension of capitalist power as television or the newspapers) in order to achieve social recognition, ultimately in order to lobby politicians. However, the political elite will never be able to solve this crisis, because the system which grants them power is also a system which literally thrives on wrecking the planet. What we call “the economy” is an out-of-control megamachine which deems anything short of unlimited expansion (a process which entails ecological devastation) some kind of disaster. No matter their affiliation or the promises they offer, all the politicians and corporations pledge allegiance to the backward logic of this world-eating monster.

Some would argue that certain elements of the climate movement escape this concern. Contrary to Extinction Rebellion and Fridays for Future, anti-capitalist groups such as Ende Gelände do not make explicit demands of politicians, instead focusing on disrupting critical infrastructure directly. However, we cannot suppose that peacefully occupying a coal mine (or its arteries) for a few hours is a realistic way of shutting it down for good; this is just another way of getting the media interested. Such actions make no sense unless one hopes, consciously or otherwise, that they might serve to convince politicians to step in and reform the economy for us. Other mass organisations (for example, Soulèvements de la Terre/Earth Uprisings) might seem like an improvement, given that they favour sabotaging ecocidal infrastructure, and in this sense encourage something resembling direct action (albeit directed by a secretive vanguard). Again, however, this might only be a more seductive way of receiving media attention; for such attacks would be far more effective if performed by small, autonomous groups who strike under the cover of darkness, especially where the authorities do not expect it.

Call for International Week of Solidarity with Anarchist Prisoners 2025

We call for actions during Week of Solidarity With Anarchist Prisoners 23 until 30 August 2025!

Against Prison Society, Towards Connection

Standing at the exterior of the prison we are greeted with the stark reality of alienation and separation. A wall, a fence, guard towers, surveillance cameras, concrete boxes and steel cages aimed at keeping the accused and “guilty” separate from the rest of society, concepts of rehabilitation and repentance constructed from ideologies of States in order to hold onto and secure their power, to freeze territories with fixed national identities and to punish whatever falls outside of their notions of legality, progress, outside of their morality and capitalist value. The thing is, once we stand outside the walls of the prison we realize that it is a touchable construct. It is a wall, it is concrete, it is material. Those who keep it functioning are living beings… Yes, prisons isolate us, but they isolate us as much as we let them, as soon as we accept them. The walls become fixed and permanent to those of us on the outside as soon as we forget and accept the separation they impose. Those on the inside of the boxes can’t forget, as it is everyday they are confronted with the harsh reality of life on the inside. As long as states exist, there will be prisons, and we will find ourselves within their walls.

It is in the carrying forth of memory that we continue the struggle and life of comrades who have died before us, we carry the ideas and actions of those separated by cages and concrete, creating continuity and connection in the endless acts of resistance that make up a life in search of freedom. Prisons and the struggles that take place within their walls are a constant contribution to this collective memory of resistance.

Komotini city , Greece: Memorial gesture for comrades LUPI, TORTUGA, BELEN by Utopia AD

Memorial gesture for comrades LUPI, TORTUGA, BELEN
by Utopia AD

Hanging a banner in the centre of Komotini and specifically at the Municipal Library in memory of Luciano Balboa “Lupi”, Luciano Pitronello “Tortuga” and Belén Navarrete on the occasion of the call for a black August.

The memory of the comrades who have gone only remains indelible when we continue the struggle they left behind, even more decisively. The insurgent revolutionaries who have gone do not deserve memorial services and funerals, but an intensification of the anti-authoritarian struggle until Anarchy.

Athens, Greece: Taking responsibility for attacks on Israeli interests

Over the past 20 months, since the occasion of the coordinated attacks of Palestinian organizations on the Palestinian territories occupied by Israeli settlers, the murderous army of the state of Israel has been attempting to annihilate and expel the Palestinian people from their last remaining territories. With sweeping airstrikes and the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip, with the systematic destruction of roads, homes and infrastructure, with the blockade and deprivation of food, water, medicine, electricity and fuel, with the killing and injury of tens of thousands of Palestinians, the majority of whom are civilians, Israel is attempting to completely subjugate the people of Palestine and impose its plans for the wider region.

The genocidal work of the Israeli war machine has been assisted militarily, economically and morally from the very beginning by the US state, the European Union and NATO. In fact, the “pacifist” Trump is stating that he is working on plans for the reconstruction of the razed Gaza and its transformation into a “Middle Eastern Riviera”, which includes the permanent relocation of the Palestinians from their land.

Responsibility claim for arson of a cop’s vehicle in the area of Elliniko by Negators of Social Peace.(Athens,Greece)

In the early hours of 7/25, we carried out an arson attack on a private cop’s motorbike in the area of elliniko . As a result, it suffered significant damage and needed repair. Our move was not accidental as we chose to attack a uniformed scumbag at a time when the state is increasingly strengthening the security forces with more funds for equipment and human resources and their privileges.

This is done in an effort by the state to shield internal social peace against resistance, against those who struggle, against the internal enemy, against the anarchist space.

Greece: “Ιν μαγκάφ χασπί, καλιαρντέ αιμοβόροι σι…Ντέλε μο”/ A few words about Kassaveteia prisons from K.K.

09/07/2025

“The monsters were tried with hunger as a witness,

locked away for a lifetime in involuntary quarantine.

Despair is its revolver and bullets their needs..”

The road to liberation is long and after every tiring uphill, every
sharp turn, every pothole and everything that slowed our movement, we must regroup with tenfold stubbornness. We must march even more militant, and this is because our memory is neither insignificant nor ephemeral. The free moments in the midst of actions remain alive in our minds, the memories of people in whose eyes and words you can see the beauty of a new world, and most importantly, the thoughts about the prisoners, for those who wake up behind bars and barbed wire, remain indelible. For every invisible, for every forgotten…

I have met many such people in the past months. I am referring to the time I was a prisoner in the Kassavetia Rural Detention Center. There are essentially 4 different prisons operating there, including the juvenile prison, where there are prisoners as young as 15 years old(!). The prison in question is made up mostly of young Roma who are impoverished, who experience deep poverty, in very difficult family environments, while others have not even had a family since a very young age. And these situations have created in them a petty criminal behavior where, due to the vindictiveness of the state and civil justice, they are sent to prison. People who don’t even know how to read a sentence, who haven’t understood basic things about how the world works, let alone the state, who have a major conscience deficit in the majority of them, find themselves imprisoned without any hope, subjected to daily irony
from the guards and hearing phrases like: “when you steal, it’s okay,
now you’re in pain?” or “do dogs become people, kid?”

Athens, Greece: Re the trial of the 2 anti-fascist comrades accused of attacks on the golden dawn – neo-Nazi office in Athens on 2019.

On Thursday, July 3, 2025, the first instance trial of the 2 anti-fascist comrades ended.

After almost six years of hostage-taking under harsh restrictive conditions, targeting by inveterate police reporters, surveillance of activists, political spaces, collectives and their members with cameras and bugging, the revolutionary movement managed to free 2 activists from the hands of the repression.

It also managed to withstand the pressure of the “anti” terrorist department and the repressive fury of M. Chrysochoidis ( Minister for Citizen Protection ) who not only failed to impose a climate of terror in order to weaken our ranks, but on the contrary, through the very overcoming of the repressive pressure, the collapse of the Eolos indictment was achieved with immortal patience, comradeship, solidarity and nerves of steel. Mettmann (Germany): three cell towers up in smoke, “Switch Off Everything”!

[Note of Sans Nom: In Germany’s seventh-largest city, Düsseldorf, located in the North Rhine-Westphalia region, the “Angry Birds Commando” has been regularly generating conversation in recent years. In August 2024 for example, it claimed responsibility for setting fire to railway signal cables in Mettmann, adding to its previous sabotage attacks on rail traffic: one in Düsseldorf in January 2024,and five others in the same city claimed in May 2023.

After the translation in January 2025 of their text “Switch off Deutsche Bahn – Communiqué #4”which returned to their vision of collapse, we publish their following communiqué, concerning the sabotage of three cell towers in the district of Mettmann, released on June 1, 2025 on de.indymedia]

Switch Off Everything – Sabotaged Cell Towers

Action Claim #5

Over the last 200 years, industrial society has acquired unprecedented capabilities. It has clearly demonstrated its absolute inability to cope with this responsibility by causing the sixth mass extinction, a process that could potentially far surpass any other extinction event in the history of life.

[Den Haag] Ruiten gebroken bij Maersk – Windows broken at Maersk ( Netherlands )

Last thursday night 22/5 the windows on the ground floor of the Maersk/APM Terminals (part of Maersk Group) office were smashed at the Turfmarkt.

Maersk is a major player in the logistics of war worldwide. Specifically for delivering components for F35 fighter planes to the israeli apartheid state.

Wednesday a Maersk ship with parts for the F35 entered the port of Rotterdam and was greeted by protest and unrest in the city centre. Thursday the windows of their office in The Hague are broken.

Who knows what will happen tomorrow or next week?

Let the resistance spread.

War has a price. Let’s make sure the oppressors pay it.

Support the Palestinian freedom struggle!
Against war and nationalism, for social revolution!

All Cameras are Cops (Portland, USA)

On July 25th, the FBI conducted an early morning raid on a home in Portland and kidnapped a 24 year-old on federal charges related to a protest at the ICE building. They are facing up to 20 years in prison for allegedly “assaulting an officer” and damaging the facade of the ICE facility in SW Portland in early June. The FBI identified them by running a photo (in which their face was visible) through facial recognition search software. The photo was taken by Mark Graves, a photographer from the Oregonian.

Every camera is an asset to the state and a threat to those who fight back. From the professional journalist “just doing their job” to the movement livestreamer who’s “on your side,” to the protester waving their phone around for a social media post- all cameras are cops. This case is just the latest example, but there are many more that have come before. As AI and facial recognition software use expands, it is more important than ever to block, paint, and smash cameras at protests. Continue reading All Cameras are Cops (Portland, USA)

(Chile) We Remember the Courage and Decision of Comrade Tortuga for Attacking Power To the Very End

via:  informativoanarquista

14 years have passed since the morning of Wednesday, June 1 in 2011 when the comrade Luciano Pitronello, known as Tortu, was gravely wounded after attempting to place an explosive artifact in a branch of Santander Bank in Santiago de Chile. This action, though failed in its execution, turned into an inflection point, not only for his life, but also for the anarchist space that surrounded him and of which he was a part…

The Context of the Offensive and Repression

Luciano acted in a moment of high tension. Since the death in action of comrade Mauricio Morales in 2009, who tried to attack the nefarious Gendarmerie School, a repressive offensive was unleashed against anarchist spaces in Chile. The cruelest point of this persecution was on August 14, 2010, when the government of Sebastián Piñera executed a media and police frame up known as the Bombs Case. 14 comrades from different social spaces and squats were arrested, while another comrade went on the run to avoid prison.

Next to a highway at night. Greetings from clandestinity, year 9.

It is dark, large stones lie scattered on the fresh asphalt. Next to the new lane that is being built here, a highway stretches into the infinite black of night. The air smells of summer and instead of noisy hustle and bustle, there is only timeless silence.

I often come here to this construction site, which will one day become another expressway. Like a labyrinth, I follow the path that the large stones point out to me. It is a long walk until I reach my destination, but deep down I know that the effort is worth it – that it has been worth it every time I have come here. After I’ve left the last stone behind me, I’m standing in front of a paved hill, just like you know it from San Francisco. So I set off on the climb to finally reach my destination, the long-awaited meeting point.
