From October 2022 to April 2023, a strong solidarity movement
accompanied the hunger strike of Alfredo Cospito, an anarchist prisoner in 41-bis, the most afflictive prison regime in the Italian penitentiary system, a regime of extreme harshness and isolation, a tomb where one spends 22 hours in a cell, with hardly any possibility to communicate with the outside world (censorship on all communications and with only a one-hour visit per month with a family member or a ten-minute phone call, also a month).

FORT WORTH, TX – U.S. District Court Judge Mark Pittman declared a mistrial on Tuesday, February 17th, the first day of jury selection in the Prairieland trial, a federal case involving nine defendants that stems from a July 4, 2025, noise demonstration at the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas. Prairieland is an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facility which has received significant criticism for inhumane conditions and mistreatment of detainees, most recently for the treatment of Leqaa Kordia, a Palestinian activist who suffered a stroke while in custody.

Trial Updates of Political/Anarchist Prisoners in Bandung (Indonesia)

On February 2nd, the cyber-hunting cluster underwent sentencing at the Bandung District Court. Nine comrades—Arfa, Azriel, Deni, Muhibuddin, Moch Sidik, Rifa Rahnabilla, Rifal, Rizky, and Yusuf—were found guilty and sentenced to 6 months in prison, with time served taken into account by the judges.

Then, on February 12th, the comrades from the admin-hunting cluster—Komar, Abul, and Dana (Black Bloc Zone)—also underwent sentencing at the Bandung District Court. Violent clashes between protesters and police erupted when over 50,000 people took to the streets in solidarity with the Askatasuna social centre, which was evicted by police on December 18, 2025 after 30 years of activity in the area. Hundreds of riot police and dozens of armoured vehicles created a red zone around the historic social centre of Turin to prevent protesters from reaching it. Part of the protesters, who came from the anarchist and anarchist area, broke away from the march towards the end of the demonstration and headed towards Corso Regina Margherita 47, the headquarters of Aska, where clashes with the police began. The police responded to the throwing of paper bombs, rockets and fireworks with water cannons and smoke bombs. NEWS FROM THE TRIAL OF THE COMRADES IN BANDUNG

Six comrades from the Political Expression Hunting Cluster (also often referred to as the Chaos Star Case) have undergone sentencing today. The outcome of the trial is that comrades AD and MNT were sentenced by the prosecutor to 3 years in prison. Meanwhile, comrades RFK, TAP, MJF, and RS were sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison.

A few words from a letter sent by a comrade involved in the Chaos Star case:

“We are particles of an entity called disorder, which is supposed to exist within the spectrum of defiance as our wild instinct, as unique and lazy individuals!”

Enterprise Vandalized: No cars for ICE (USA)

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, Jan 27, we crept into the Enterprise Rental lot on on Sandy Blvd. and 28th and disabled every car, truck, and van parked there. A large message reading “ICE RENTS HERE” was sprayed across the building to make our motive clear to any passerbys. Awls made quick work of the tires and each vehicle also received a complementary paint job. We left just as quickly as we arrived, with the air still hissing out of the tires as we disappeared back into the night with smiles on our faces and joy in our hearts.

ICE and Border Patrol have been using vehicles rented from Enterprise to kidnap and deport people across the country, including here in Portland. Enterprise has several locations across the city. It only took us a few minutes to make an entire lot of vehicles inoperable. It was simple and fun, and we heard a rumor that Enterprise canceled their Portland area hiring event as a result of our nighttime intervention. Oopsie!
