Friday 7th October in Genoa a conference at the Alliance Française, organized by the Institut Française, the French Embassy in Italy and the University of Studies of Genoa was interrupted with banners, interventions and leaflets in solidarity with the anarchists Vincenzo Vecchi and Claudio Lavazza, explaining their specific repressive conditions.

Another war is possible

Political statement by the imprisoned member of Anarchist Action on the necessary building of a revolutionary blockade against the imperialist movements of the warmongering transnational formations.

In politics there are so many truths as there are lies. Statements and analyses built on the foundations of the subjectivity of the interests they defend. Since the very first moment of the powers of russian expansionism invading the territories that previously belonged to the Ukrainian sovereignty, countless analyses of the causes and conditions of the military intervention have been recorded. Ihar Alinevich , an anarcho-partisan sentenced to 20 years for participating in the Belarusian uprising, went on hunger strike. Members of the Anarchist Black Cross collected the latest information about Igor from the Facebook of his mother Valentina Alinevich and from his close friends. Here’s what we were able to find out.

On October 5, Ihar’s lawyer tried to get to him, but did not. He will try to get to him next week. According to unconfirmed reports, Ihar is still in the penal cell, where he was visited by the prosecutor. It is very difficult to get any information about Ihar. Even his mother has not been able to see her son for years; there is no way to get in touch with him by phone; all letters are censored and often do not reach him at all. We decided not to attack directly the isolated office building of the company to avoid harming to people, because we have the impression that Mr. Barrois occasionally uses the second floor of the building privately at night. We do not know Mr. Barrois personally, although we have been able to get a fairly clear picture of his habits and daily routine over the past few months. He may be a nice guy. With the progressive realization of the CIGÉO atomic waste disposal center project, the militarization of the area around Bure is becoming more and more concrete. In the direct vicinity of the ANDRA dump, a huge Gendarmerie barracks is being built, with the objective of controlling massive interventions in the future. (The reactivation of the Montiers-sur-Saulx barracks failed in 2018, after the building was completely destroyed by fire). On Tuesday, September 20, a bunch of plainclothes cops (of various services according to their statement, led by State security officers) accompanied by a prosecutor entered the house we live in to conduct a search and at the same time notified us with a written summons that we are accused of a case from last year, for which both our comrades and friends Fotis D. and Jason R. are accused with ridiculous and fabricated evidence and have been held in custody for almost 11 months.

During their stay in the house they destroyed everything and took with them our personal objects of museum character, all the electronic devices that existed in the house and books/brochures/things that they themselves considered dangerous (the books in particular were what was in our library from comrade Dimitris Koufontinas and some other foreign revolutionary organizations, because apparently revolutionary memory gives the cops and the State nightmares)
