Anarchists arrested and houses raided in Munich
On February 26th 2025 and the days that followed, two new investigations of the attorney general of Munich have come to light during house searches by hordes of unchained cops in various houses in Munich, the surrounding area and Austria. This has led to arrests and pre-trial detentions.
As has already happened in the past, whole flats were searched, not just single rooms. An apartment where none of the accused lives has also been broken into. The reason given for this is that they would have “close contacts”, so have therefore been searched as witnesses.
In addition, numerous persons were promptly summoned as witnesses by the Public Prosecutor’s Office as a result of this procedure.
The first investigation is against four persons and concerns the accusation of having “encouraged/approved of criminal acts” 
through the publication of a paper distributed in 2024 under the name “Hetzblatt gegen den Windpark” [“agitational paper against the wind farm”]. This paper would have expressed itself against projects for the construction of new wind turbines at Altötting by the “Wacker Chemie” company and promoted carrying out criminal acts as well as calling for political or citizenist initiatives. According police, the articles were “Capable of inspiring confidence in legal certitude among a significant number of people in the German Federal Republic”.
The second investigation is against two people and concerns the accusation of incendiary attacks in six episodes that took place in the years 2023-2024.
The charges relate to the following:
1. 2 October 2023, burning of ten pieces of construction machinery, a geothermal plant, a forest machine in an adjacent wood and the cable well of a nearby railway line;
2. 18 December 2023, burning of two forestry machines;
3. 25 December 2023 burning of various pieces of works machinery;
4. 31 July 2024 burning of a stationary vehicle on rails;
5. 8 September 2024 burning of a wind turbine;
6. 2 September 2024 burning of six concrete mixers, a wheel loader and conveyor belt with silo at a concrete factory.
