Words More than 2 Years After the Attack Against the National Directorate of Gendarmerie and 13 Months of Imprisonment From Anarchist Comrades Aldo and Lucas Hernández

These days, nostalgia strikes, longing for that enveloping air of the streets upon awakening in these cells. It’s already going on 12 months since the GOPE kicked down different doors of the various spaces in which we moved or had entered at some point.

From the bottom of our hearts, we lament that the bastard police exposed those beautiful little beings to so much violence, and that their eyes saw their despicable uniforms and weapons that were at the ready when they found and captured Aldo, so far the only one accused for the explosive attack against the National Directorate of Gendarmerie of $hile, and Lucas, accused for possession of various weapons and explosives.

It didn’t matter in the least to the police that they were violating the most basic rights of the children present in the various spaces that were raided.

We’ve lived the consequences, the ups and downs of the carceral world, where our convictions remain indomitable and with more desire than yesterday to see this society collapse after an unerring strike at the heart of the repugnant social peace. During this year we’ve been separated as brothers and we’ve lived through different carceral processes. Aldo in a highly dangerous unit in La Gonzalina Prison-Extermination Center, where he is the only political prisoner in the unit. Lucas has been in different units of Santiago Uno Prison-Company. Being linked to the street, to illegality and the cause that besieges us in the present has influenced how we’ve developed and positioned ourselves in our path as prisoners, where we’ve needed to confront different carceral situations.

We understand that in these situations it’s of utmost importance to defend our position against society and prison, against prison and society: against prison society.

In spite of everything, we’ve learned to be attentive to various codes and frequencies, here, where knives and shanks speak for themselves. Always making sure that the metals are aimed at the jailers and not between prisoners.

We continue with our integrity intact, our illegal steps were strong in the streets, always intending for more, never staying in the lesser evil nor brute comfort, we broke with it and that is how we ventured into the boldness of acts.

Currently they continue to investigate us, trying to find more and more, they will try to sentence us to the highest terms that they can, according to our various crimes, exemplary sentences like what happened recently with the comrade Francisco Solar.

For us the only example is the coherence of continuing to position ourselves against domination from the very house of the jailers.

Understand that revolutionary ideas and actions are bullet and shackle-proof. These are the consequences of our anarchic and free existence, we assume the costs without fear, no prosecutor or court will make us feel hopeless and much less will it bend us. They are the ones who fear us, not the the other way around.

They are the cowards, not those of us who decide to walk with our dead at our side and with the death that, many times, accompanies us in each illegalist movement and in each action.

Hundreds of personal-political projects were left on pause, and still, from these dungeons, we remain clear and with the disposition to continue contributing to the anarchist struggle that walks, steady and determined, towards the destruction of power, its servents and all of the existing carceral society.

Life is fragile and no one is the exception.

A warm greeting to the various comrades who confront their days in the different prisons of the world with dignity.

Fire to the prison and its guards!

Death to the dominant lie!

With clear and sharpened ideas nothing is over, the war continues.
