Quick tips for mapping them in your town: Street-facing Flock cameras always look the same – a roadside black camera body with a solar panel attached above it.

Black Out. Controversy about meaning and efficiency of sabotage

Between February and March 2020, all over the world, heads of state made solemn and grave announcements in order to prepare
their populations for what appeared to be a new era : one of war against the virus. Within a couple months, the sabotage of telecomcommunication infrastructures had almost become a daily event in France, as well as in other European countries. Simultaneously, a debate sprang up within anarchist and radical ecological publications, in particular about the meaning and efficiency of these acts.

How could we undermine technological control ? Could we provoke a tipping point within this situation? What scenarios did these sabotages open up ? How could we consider efficiency, organization and ethics altogether?

Nowadays, the situation has evolved, but the problems brought up by the following texts remain unresolved, maybe even more
so now, and without obvious answers : what are the links between direct action and social or ecological movements? What strategies emerge when we separate or combine anarchist, ecologist and techno-critical perspectives?

How do these strategies integrate a now-decisive element :
the war in Europe, which will guide and harden the grip of states on
their populations.

Munich (Germany): the TV truck didn’t make it through the night

Munich : the TV truck didn’t make it through the night

At around 3:40 a.m. on Sunday night, June 26, a satellite transmission truck belonging to the ZDF television network was set on fire in Munich’s Glockenbach district. The precious technological cargo of the special truck is certainly unusable, and the damage is enormous: several hundred thousand euros.

The burnt-out TV truck was part of a mobile production center, which had broadcast live from St. Maximilian’s Church on Sunday morning the mass of nationally renowned pastor Rainer Maria Schiessler. After the broadcast, the satellite broadcast vehicle was due to remain in front of St. Maximilian’s church until Monday… except that it didn’t make it through the night.

Snitch Suzie Savoie Swarmed and Deplatformed in Southern Oregon, (USA)

Snitch Suzie Savoie Swarmed and Deplatformed in Southern Oregon

SPANISH/ESP

On Sunday, April 16, 2023, a group of bee loving environmentalists successfully deplatformed an event that was being led by Green Scare snitch and cooperating defendant Suzanne Savoie. Despite snitching on her ex-comrades in 2006, Savoie continues to worm her way into environmental activist spaces.
Yes, it’s been a longtime but Suzie we have not forgotten! You are an enemy to butterflies, ants and all critters who love the earth.

Suzie was scheduled to give a talk in the Southern Oregon town of Talent about pollinator gardens with her business Klamath-Siskiyou Native Seeds. But Suzie, as an unrepentant snitch and enemy to the environmental movement, is no friend of the bees! Prior to the event, the scene was buzzing with excitement as friendly faces swarmed the location and hung a banner featuring a cute image of The Vengeful, Vengeful Caterpillar announcing “Snitch Suzie NOT Welcome!” At this point, Suzie’s team called the cops — of course! Once a snitch, still a snitch.

About the upcoming trial regarding the incident of 2018 with the hunter in Evia (Greece)

23-04-2022

Republished from a counter-information website. “About the upcoming trial regarding the incident of 2018 with the hunter in Evia On May 26, 2022, the court case for the incident that happened about 3.5 years ago, on December 26, 2018, in Evia, concerning a dispute with a hunter, will be heard at the Single-Member Court of Appeal for Felony Cases in Chalkida. The persons brought on trial are two.

For reasons not at hand, however, both this text and the political opening of the case is now being done only by the signator. What happened in December 2018 was a spontaneous attempt to prevent a hunter from pursuing his killing hobby and kill an animal. After being asked repeatedly to stop to no avail, tension ensued, the result of which was that his shotgun was thrown somewhere in the woods. With the hunter in a furious state the end of the incident came with our departure from the scene. The hunter called the police and as a result we were stopped on the route by a number of their vehicles and arrested us.

The charges held against us were robbery (for the shotgun) which is a felony and theft (of a cell phone) which is a misdemeanor. At the same time, a restrictive condition to leave the country was imposed, which is still in force today. More about the incident and the statements, role and attitude of the hunting clubs on the case can be found in the previous text published here (editor’s note: this text can be found translated inside the blog here).
