Berne, Switzerland: Protectas car torched

via: barrikade.info
Protectas is a company that systematically uses violence against refugees. Their business model is to detain people in prison-like federal asylum centers and stifle conflict through violence and displays of force.
In February, Protectas employees in the Perreux centre locked a person in a refrigerated container until his body temperature dropped to 33 degrees and he had to be hospitalized. Every day they harass, beat, kick and insult people in the federal asylum centres. These are not isolated cases due to the staff of Protectas, but a deliberate system of oppression and precariousness so that the hope of obtaining asylum melts away and the wait becomes unbearable.

Flensbourg, Germany: Those who raze the forests sow hatred and reap the flames

via: sansnom
The following text came out today on the anniversary of the forest occupation in Flensbourg.
Those who raze the forests sow hatred and reap the flames.
One year ago last night, the forest was occupied. The destruction of forests, especially of intact ecosystems – anywhere and especially in cities, must not continue like this.

Hamburg, Germany: A JCDecaux service car set on fire

via:attaque.
de.indymedia.org / Tuesday 28 September 2021
——-
To express our incompatibility with the dominant system and to propagate the direct attack of all structures of oppression, on the night of September 25-26, 2021, instead of going through the electoral ballot box, we chose to attack and set fire to a service car of the French outdoor advertising company JCDecaux.
Like Ströer, the French company JCDecaux, which in 2009 also acquired a majority stake in Wall AG, supplies large-format posters. They profit from the development of public spaces, which seduce and pacify the population with so-called consumer happiness, and also profit from the development of smart cities. In addition, at timesw these companies openly support organized fascism, as was recently revealed with regard to Ströer, which donated to the AfD, in the form of poster campaigns.

Chile: Text of anarchist comrade Mónica Caballero from San Miguel prison

This week marks 8 years since various groups of the Anarchist Black Cross (ABC) and different individuals around the world raised the initiative to maintain a week of international solidarity with imprisoned anarchists, and that this week coincides with the day on which the anniversary of the legal murder of anarchists Bartolomeo Vanzetti and Nicola Sacco by the U.S. government in 1927 is commemorated.
The official history written by the powerful plus the progressive democratic left and a part of anarchism have been especially concerned with creating a victimized image of Sacco and Vanzetti and far from any illegalist practice. All this based on the recognition by the American judicial apparatus that within the criminal process that condemned Sacco and Vanzetti there were many irregularities and that they would be legally “innocent” (information that became known many years after the murder of the comrades). Probably the comrades had no relation with the expropriation of South Braintree, which is important to know and make visible, as it is also important to emphasize that Sacco and Vanzetti were anarchists of action, who propagated anti-authoritarian ideas and exercised different illegalist practices.

Santiago (Chile): Transantiago bus set on fire

via: attaque.
Noticias de la guerra social / Saturday 25 September 2021
On Friday, September 10, 2021, a group of about five persons unknown boarded a Transantiago bus on Vicuña Mackenna Avenue, in front of the San Joaquin campus of the Catholic University, and got the driver and passengers to descend.
The unknown people quickly doused the bus in gasoline and set fire to it, while throwing leaflets demanding the release of the prisoners of the revolt and remembering one of the people killed by the repression during the revolt.
No one was injured or arrested.

Graz, Austria: Stronger than Capitalism

Greetings of solidarity to opponents of the International Motor Show
Graz, summer 2021.
While the car speeds away from a world worth living in, we are fighting against the current civilizatio’s hostility to life!
Wherever we look, everything is spoiled: where there are already hardly any trees left, they continue to cut and clear; where concrete kills fertile soil forever, they continue to build; where people want to live in peace, they are evicted; where people want to be as they are, they are killed; where there could be air to breathe and room to grow, they impose bureaucratic forms with guidelines; where beings could meet, there are… CARS!

Chile: URGENT! On the recent illness detected in the anarchist comrade Francisco Solar and his delicate health situation

Translated by darknights
In the first months of 2021, Francisco together with other anarchist and subversive prisoners carried out a hunger strike that lasted more than 50 days against the modification of Decree Law 321 and for the immediate release of Marcelo Villarroel.
In 2010 Francisco had already put his body as a barricade of combat in another strike of more than 60 days in the framework of the Bombs Case.
It is during the last mobilization that several blood tests were taken from Francisco by the prison administration, including a suspicious situation, where Francisco was urgently admitted to the prison hospital due to the bad result in the blood tests, but a few minutes later the jailers recanted and alluded to a mistake, returning him to prison.

Montreal ,Canada : Rail Lines Blockaded in Solidarity with Gidimt’en Week of Action

More than 50 people blockaded five parallel rail lines outside a CN rail yard in Point Saint Charles, Montreal for more than an hour and a half this Saturday, October 9th. We were there to support the Wet’suwet’en fight to defend their territory against the Coastal GasLink pipeline. There were two banners, one saying “#AllOutForWedzinKwa 1312” and the other “All Out For Wet’suwet’en #ShutDownCanada”. Multiple trains were stopped and some rerouted, and some still seemed be sitting idle on the tracks for at least an hour after the blockade ended. Maybe because of a backlog, or an inspection of the tracks.
We decided to leave as a demo, walking down the tracks for a while then and switching to the streets of the surrounding neighbourhood, chanting slogans against colonization and the police, and in solidarity with Wet’suwet’en land defenders. Some groups of young people were clearly excited to see us, took flyers, and followed behind us for a while before we dispersed. We significantly outnumbered the police who showed up, and they kept their distance. There were no arrests.

RBC Targeted in Solidarity with Wet’suwet’en Land Defenders (Montreal, Canada)

Anonymous submission to MTL Counter-info
Canada is a lie. Reconciliation is dead. After night fell on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, RBC was targeted in the center of Montreal’s financial district. The Royal Bank of Canada is an investor in the Coastal GasLink pipeline. While they stage orange shirt photo ops to proclaim their commitment to reconciliation, CGL is attempting to drill under Wedzin Kwa, the sacred headwaters of the Wet’suwet’en people, with the help of the RCMP threatening, arresting, and torturing land defenders.
By morning they covered up the message we left them: “RBC funds colonialism. CGL off the Yintah”. Ashamed, RBC?
Reconciling with Canada’s genocidal history means confronting the institutions and infrastructures that reproduce colonial violence in the present. CGL, its investors, and the RCMP are playing with fire by prolonging their occupation of Wet’suwet’en territory.

Greece: text written by comrade Dimitris Chatzivasileiadis on the occasion of the trial for the first police raid in squat GARE in November 2017

Here is the translation in English of the text written by comrade Dimitris Chatzivasileiadis on the occasion of the trial for the first police raid in squat GARE in November 2017.
At this eviction four comrades were arrested on heavy charges, two members of the squat and two comrades from squat Rigear94 (Berlin). This trial will take place, after getting postponed twice, on Wednesday 29th of Septembre ’21, in Evelpidon courts (Athens).
Across all borders, the enemy has the same face. Solidarity is our weapon. Defend squats, defend freedom.

This text written by comrade Dimitris Chatzivasileiadis in 2020
Few words about the historical meaning of squats
The modern squatting movement in Europe began developing half a century ago, mainly in Germany and Italy, in a period of outburst of the revolutionary struggle, especially in those two countries. It was a social territorialization of the revolutionary power of that time. Squats invaded into history as a radicalized social ground within an a-social desert and against the class pacification policies of post-war Central Europe. With this character, the example was conveyed to the greek scene, in the period of post-modern musolinist PASOK and the coalition governments that followed. Historically, the squats were and remain “gates” for the highly fragmented social body into the anti-capitalist movement, gates of the social body towards revolutionary self-determination.
The identification of squats in general with the escapist mentality, with existing trends of alternativism and with policies of their assimilation, is counter-movement propaganda and slander inspired by political parties. In reality, this anti-squatting criticism contributes only to such directions and this is what it pursues in order to confirm itself.
