Attack on coal company in the Lausitz area (Germany)

original in English :https://de.indymedia.org/node/161339

Last night we were in a lignite mine in the Lausitz area and sabotaged various excavators, vehicles and generally all the machines we encountered on our way.
Dear lovers,
Our message to you is: It’s particularly easy, because leag doesn’t protect their equipment at all, for example they are not even locked. The tools you need can be carried in one hand and you have them at home anyway. You don’t have to call yourself an anarchist to not stand idly by but to influence things as much as you can. To do it, you just need determination!* We would also like to share with you the instructions we used.
Every engine requires clean air to breath just like you or me. Because Mother Nature hates machines as much as you and I do, she made sand and dirt so it will damage engines.  Pulling the air filter makes all kinds of fun expensive stuff  happen inside the engine that the people who made it think is bad. Pulling the filter is fast, it doesn’t really make any noise or draw attention like lighting the thing on fire, No nasty chemicals escape as the engine is destroyed, It doesn’t cause damage that will hurt someone, and nothing tells the machine or the operator the filter is missing. Expect to find 2 filters, one inside another on almost all heavy equipment.

Metz, France: News about anarchist comrade Boris

Contrary to what we had hoped for, stopping the sedation about a month and a half ago was not the beginning of a full recovery. Boris is still in the burn unit of the hospital in Metz, in the intensive care unit. His condition is fragile and unstable. He is still not able to speak or write. It is not known how long it will take for him to regain his abilities.
Moreover, his belongings cannot be recovered in prison. Therefore, it can be imagined that the investigation of the cell fire is still ongoing.
News will be given according to the evolution of the situation.

Rotterdam, Netherlands: Reflections and Report on the Nov. 19 Riots

A comrade in the Netherlands has sent a first-hand report from last night’s extraordinary anti-police riots in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, which included Dutch police firing their guns into the crowd.
Some out-of-touch “leftists” have tried to dismiss these riots because they coincided with and/or overtook a protest called by the right wing against new government restrictions. However, something like last night’s youth uprising against police cannot be so simply reduced— as our writer makes clear.
I don’t know where to start writing about this. On the one hand I’m overtaken by emotion, still processing the things I witnessed last night. On the other hand I’m trying to make sense of what has happened from the perspective of someone who believes in social revolution. I don’t think the latter will be something that I can fit into this short, emotionally laden piece of text, but some things need to be said about this right now. What happened last night was so much more than the supposed “fascist riot” many are dismissing it as.

Italy : Capitalism and electrification

This text is a contribution to the discussion of the same name, “Capitalism and electrification”, which will take place at the Circolaccio Anarchico in Spoleto on 11th September in the context of the initiative “Vitriolic words” (Parole al vetriolo”) . The two-day will involve a “theoretical day” (Saturday 11) and a “practical day” (Sunday 12), where we’ll talk about how to organize ourselves in the autumn. The following text wants to be the contribution of some comrades to the theoretical day.
——
Capitalism and electrification
In the current organization, as monopolists of science who remain such beyond social life, scientists certainly form a caste of its own which presents many similarities with the caste of priests. Scientific abstraction is their God, living and real individualities are the victims and scientists are their consecrated and licensed sacrificers
A. Bakunin
They say “ideology” too soon
For at least thirty years the dominant narrative has fobbed us with “the end of ideologies”. According to the “thinkers” of the palace, the collapse of countries under State Capitalism would have inaugurated a new era, the one that the philosopher Francis Fukuyama (1992) calls “the end of history”. Therefore history would be to be intended as a linear development where the democratic and liberal State represents its telos, the ultimate Goal of evolution beyond which it is impossible to go. It is the principles of liberalism that dictate evolution, marked and pushed by the force of rationality.
As this state of “perfection” is attained, ideologies make no sense either. The clash between opposed and alternative visions of the world is irrational and counterproductive, technical reason decides what is right and what is wrong, the only thing we can do is to follow rationality. Therefore any deviation would be absurd.
In a contradictory way, Fukuyama thinks that this final stage of human evolution is the democratic State. What he couldn’t foresee is that precisely by virtue of the rational domination of technique, the very democratic constitution would soon become obsolete. If there is nothing to choose, if the best thing to do is the most rational one… Another world is impossible!

Toulouse France: Breaking free from the net

Indymedia Lille / Friday 19 November 2021
The night of November 17 to 18 in the North district of Toulouse, 4 vans of a company installing fiber optics burned.
The COP26 has just come to an end and the media debate is focused on the choice of a source of energy capable of making France independent and not appearing crude in terms of pollution. In this apocalyptic landscape, the expansion of high speed internet is at its peak and already announces a society where the state will need more and more energy to dematerialize the whole economy via the internet.
That’s why we tried to disrupt a company that installs fiber optics in businesses by setting their vehicles on fire.

Italy: Vitriolic anger (Una rabbia al vetriolo)

In expressing our solidarity with the comrades raided, investigated and subjected to precautionary measures in operation “Sibilla”, we are going to make some considerations (pending a more precise analysis from those who have the police-judicial papers of the investigation).
If the framework of “subversive association for the purpose of terrorism” has been repeated incessantly for the last forty years, the increasingly frequent accusation of “incitement to commit crimes” – aimed at striking anarchist and revolutionary publications, or even simply that which is non-aligned – informs us explicitly about the era we have entered. In the last month, in fact, there have been numerous searches carried out throughout Italy on this charge.
What for some decades had been mainly reserved for anarchists and antagonists is now becoming the norm, even for democratic dissidents. For example, there is already a certain qualitative difference between an expulsion order being imposed on a subversive and one imposed on a grassroots trade unionist “guilty” of taking part in a workers’ picket; and the difference becomes even more indicative if the person kicked out of a city is a dock worker who set up a stall in the square in the name of democracy and the Constitution. Just as it is quite different– in terms of the extension of the State’s coercive powers – if a city centre is banned for anarchist demonstrations following a demo with clashes and attacks on the power structures or if it is banned for peaceful demonstrations against the green pass, all on the basims of decrees passed in the name of “public health” or to protect shopkeepers’ “right” not to have their takings reduced.

About Covid certificates, vaccinations and QR codes. Political thoughts

13.10. 2021
We would like to make some comments from an anarchist perspective on the current situation in Switzerland (and similarly in some places in Europe) on the subject of COVID measures, COVID certificates, and on science and vaccines.
For too long there has been a lack of critical voices from anarchist or anti-authoritarian circles in Switzerland. Now is the time to speak out and act. The state presumes to give us back the certainty of having the solution for a return to normality. But perhaps we have forgotten that the anchors of this certainty, this normality, were long ago (for many still current… fortunately) perceived as chains that had to be broken in order to steer the ship towards anarchy; knowing that it would be a stormy sea, but towards an unknown horizon of freedom.

#ShutDownCanada: Tire Fires on Tracks

This morning in Montreal, two tire fires were lit on the CN railway tracks in the neighbourhood of Pointe-St-Charles, at the choke-point of the train yard exit.
Care was taken to ensure there was no risk of derailment. A long straightaway location was chosen, and timing was based on the first scheduled Via passenger train of the morning. As the train approached, an individual stepped onto the track waving two road flares. When the train came to a stop, tires that had previously been filled with cotton towels were placed onto both tracks. They were then doused in gasoline, and the road flares were tossed in from a safe distance to light them up. The action was quick and easy, required few people, and ensured the train was able to stop and not hit the items placed on the tracks. Rail service was interrupted for at least two hours. Thessaloniki, Greece: Intervention at MarCom tzelepoglou – Solidarity with Francisco Solar

Originally published by SAKM. Translated by Dark Nights.

“Prison is another point of struggle at the post-conflict level – the anti-authoritarian conflict is not over for me, it has just changed form”
M. Caballero
24/7/20 in Chilean territory, anarchists Monica Caballero and Francisco Solar are arrested, accused of parcel-bombing. Specifically, for a bomb that exploded in the Huechuraba police station, leaving a cop seriously injured, – and one that was defused by the GOPE (operational police group), a bomb in the office of Rodrigo Hinzpeter, former minister and current manager of the Quiñenco company (one of Chile’s largest business groups), and finally, for planting two bombs in the Tánica building. Since 24/7, therefore, the comrades have been held in custody and have remained in the cells of the republic ever since.

Athens, Greece: Appeal trial of anarchist comrade Marios Seisidis starts Friday 26 November 2021 at 9am. Call for solidarity at the Court of Appeal

“Whatever decision the court takes, I personally as an anarchist will continue to resist and fight on the side of the oppressed and the  with all my strength, as I myself am part of them.”
Marios Seisidis
—–
Our comrade Marios’s  trial is number 1, so it will definitely start and probably end on Friday
A case that four and a half years ago gave him a 35-year sentence. This trial is expected to close another judicial chapter, the last, of a case that has occupied the domestic radical movement for at least fifteen years, and which exposed four comrades to the vengeful fury of the State authorities, with bounties on their heads, years of illegality, imprisonment, and a serious injury and amputation for one of them, Simos Seisidis.

Greece: The trial of the social fighter Polycarpos Georgiadis, accused of “aggravated possession of weapons”, has been set for December 6/ 2021

This trial, as well as the repressive operation that preceded it, the subsequent management by the anti-terrorist police, the massive dissemination of false news and the creation of a climate of terrorism by the well-known media centres, is a standard methodology followed by the State and is part of the strategies of pre-emptive counter-insurgency that have been applied fiercely against the movement for more than a 10 years..
The solidarity movement stands by the comrade because it knows well that whoever forgets the prisoners of the social – class war will eventually forget the war itself. Because the consistent presence of the comrade and his multifaceted contribution to the movement opens up paths, proving that struggle means political commitment and loyalty to the cause.

Greece: Update on the appeal court of anarchist Vangelis Stathopoulos, set for 9 February 2022

19 years in prison without evidence
In April, 2021 the anarchist Vangelis Stathopoulos was sentenced by the Criminal Court of Appeal to 19 years in prison. Our comrade has been in custody since November 2019, in the first repressive operation of New Democracy – after coming to power – regarding the imprisonment of militants through trumped up charges and blatant plots.
Vangelis Stathopoulos, when asked, provided first aid to an injured comrade. The court of appeal, presided over by Maria Giannakopoulou – the same judge who had convicted Tasos Theofilou in the first instance – sentenced him to 19 years in prison for participation in the “Revolutionary Self-Defence” organisation and for theft in an ΟΠΑΠ store (the biggest  Gambling company in Greece).

Athens, Greece : for the anarchist comrade Harris Mantzouridis

Athens: for the anarchist comrade Harris  Mantzouridis

On 13/10/21 the state mechanism through the ELAS ( general greek police} and more specifically the ΥΔΕΖΙ (crimes against property) service proceeded with the kidnapping of comrade Harry Mantzouridis outside his house, where he lives with his partner and their child. The tactic is well known and much used over the years, they surrounded him, ostensibly to take him to the GADA (Attica General Police Directorate)  under the pretext of arraignment because after an “anonymous phone call” (sic) a week earlier, he was suspected of robbery and was summarily found handcuffed, beaten before the eyes of the surprised neighbourhood and surrounded by the security guards.
We know the character of the police officers and if there is a reason to analyze and enumerate their atrocities, it is simply so that one does not forget who we are up against and what they are capable of doing. For the organs of the state it is just a Wednesday where they use disproportionate violence to stomp on a man in front of his young child, it is just a Wednesday when they handcuffed a man who is not charged with anything and according to them is indicted, it is just a Wednesday when they defame a man and spread the word that he molested a young girl, it was just a Wednesday.

Argenteuil (Val-d’Oise): The police station targeted after cops injured a teenager
RTL / Monday, November 8, 2021
Mortar fire targeted the police station and police officers in Argenteuil (Val d’Oise) on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 November. These attacks, perpetrated by about fifty young people, would be a sign of protest against the LBD [launcher of defence balls] shooting that injured a teenager earlier in the evening of Saturday. On the images circulating on social networks, we see the young man with a broken nose and a swollen face. On Sunday evening, dozens of individuals attacked the Argenteuil police station.
A reinforced security device was then put in place in the district of the Dalle. Calm returned during the night. No injuries were reported and no arrests were made.
Already the week before, in another neighbourhood…
Le Parisien / Wednesday 2 November 2021
They targeted a place that is symbolic of authority. Between 20 and 30 young people dressed in black tried to set fire to the police station of the district of Argenteuil while it was unoccupied, Monday evening. Aged about 13 or 14, they placed a trash can in front of the building and set it on fire. They also threw projectiles at the building and damaged windows on the second floor. The latter are not police premises but those of the social branch of the departmental council, which includes a maternal and child protection centre.
