We do not intend to dwell on yet another great political analysis of what is happening today. The time for that is over. All that remains now is our actions. This life is not sustainable. A large part of society knows it and is finding out more and more each day, even if it tries to ignore it or put the blame elsewhere. Pandemic, war, impoverishment. Economic crises on top of economic crises. Depravation of life. The State and capital march unmolested and trample our lives. They have declared war on us. We simply respond with the means at our disposal. We know who stands against us. The State and its minions, the petty bourgeoisie, the nouveau riche, the bosses. We are coming for you! We will attack you until the cops are forced to guard every house, every shed, every car.

But we come these days for another reason. Comrade Giannis Michailidis is on his 16th day of a hunger strike demanding his release. The State vindictiveness he is facing has to do with the unrelenting attitude he has taken all these years inside and outside prison. He is part of an all-out attack launched by the neoliberal Greek State, trying to crush everything that goes against it and stifle all revolutionary memory. Meeting to organise an initiative in piazza in solidarity with the comrades on trial, against the 41bis prison regime, against all prisons (Rome 9.06.2022)

The last hearing of the Scripta Manent trial will be held on 27 June at the Court of Cassation, where anarchists will be on trial for subversive association for the purposes of terrorism and other specific offences, including massacre.

On May 5th the comrade Alfredo Cospito, one of the accused in this trial, was placed under the 41bis regime and transferred to the prison of Bancali, Sassari [Sardinia], where he is presently being held.

A regime of downright torture and annihilation, at the height of the Italian repressive system.

This is happening at a time when the crisis of the capitalist system is there for all to see, as new forms of authoritarianism intertwine with a tendency towards generalised warfare.

We are convinced that anarchist ideas and practice constitute an antidote to the catastrophe.

We will not accept our comrades’ voices being silenced.

This move to 41 bis concerns all revolutionaries, all those opposed to this system in word and deed.

We denounce the political and personal responsibility of those who took this heinous measure: from the highest level, the minister Marta Cartabia who signed the order, to the repressive machine of the Anti-Mafia into whose ranks that very Roberto Sparagna,  prosecutor in the Scripta Manent trial, has recently returned and been promoted to high office.

We are therefore calling an open meeting in order to organise a street initiative in solidarity with the comrades on trial, against the 41 bis prison regime and against all prisons.

International solidarity with all the comrades struck by the repression. Take action, organise, spread solidarity everywhere.

Health Updates for Hunger Striker anarchist Giannis Michailidis
On Monday, 6th of June, the 15th day of the hunger strike of the comrade,  his observations were as follows:

Oxygen: 95

Pulse: 80

Pressure: 9.5 and 6.

Blood sugar: 75

Weight: 65.5 kilos (loss of 10% of his original body weight)

Note that it is well established in the literature that the risk to the health and physical integrity of a hunger striker increases significantly after the 10th day of no food taken. It is also accepted that weight loss of more than 10% of the initial body weight is a danger risk .

The comrade continues the struggle strongly until his immediate release.

Geneva (Switzerland): beautiful like a future deportation center and cop shop going up in smoke

A gigantic fire broke out on Friday, May 20, around 5 pm in Grand-Saconnex, in the airport area of Geneva. The entire upper part of the building under construction for the future federal asylum center went up in smoke. This building, which is currently under construction and located right next to the runways of Cointrin airport, was to open in the fall of 2023 and house both refugees seeking asylum in the district of Geneva and rejected asylum seekers from all over Switzerland (250 beds planned). Valued at 25 million Swiss francs, the building has been contested since its creation as a “semi-prison center”, and many tags “No to the deportation center” still adorn the neighborhood.

Since the beginning of the year, the list of relay antennas burned continues to grow in Nord-Isère. The most recent concerns an installation on the town of Soleymieu.

According to information from the Dauphiné Libéré, it was around 7:30 in the morning on Friday 27 May when an employee of the water union was alerted that an electrical fault had just occurred on the water tank located on the village heights. On arriving at the site, Chemin de la Roche, the agent quickly realized that the electrical fault was in fact the fire of a relay antenna located on the same site: flames several meters high ravaged the fence of the installation as well as the pylon. He immediately alerted the fire department who intervened as the fire began to spread to the neighbouring vegetation.

Militant group of anarcho-communists sabotages railroad track [Russia]

We, the Militant Anarcho-Communist Organization, have carried out a sabotage operation on the railroad track at coordinates 56 16’44″N 38 12’40.5″E on a sidetrack leading to a military facility of the 12th Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The rail junction was dismantled and the rail tracks were partially disconnected. It must be emphasized that we are not sure that this disconnection was sufficient to free the train from the tracks. But it was a test sabotage, if you will, where we tested the feasibility with the help of tools. We also wanted the sabotage to be as inconspicuous as possible so that the train would not have time to come to a stop.

Moreover, it is not sure that a derailment in such a deserted area will reach the media, and we have no possibility to observe it with our own eyes. Therefore, it was decided to publish the result of the attack “as it was” to share the experience with other guerrillas.

On Saturday May 21, around midnight, one or more individuals set fire to the opening of the municipal police station located in the Champs Dolent shopping center. The firemen intervened.

This is the second act of vandalism after the damage to the window that was reported on May 3 [while this new police station in the Argentine district is due to open soon in the former premises of the Caisse d’épargne].

Writings and hanging of a banner in solidarity with the anarchist hunger striker G. Michailidis by Anarchist Collective in B/A “Apriori” (Athens,Greece)

On Monday 23/5 comrade C. Michailidis started a hunger strike for his release. After 8.5 years of imprisonment, the comrade remains incarcerated as according to the Amfissa Plenary Council, he does not meet the “essential” conditions for release.

Essentially, the State is creating a regime of exception for political prisoners, attempting to neutralize those who are struggling and at the same time suppress any form of anarchist action. On Tuesday 31/5, as a minimal action of solidarity with the comrade, we wrote some slogans and put up a banner in Agia Paraskevi area of Athens

As part of the nationwide day of action, a solidarity gathering for Giannis Michailidis was held in Thessaloniki with the participation of more than 70 comrades.

During the intervention, Tsimiski Street was blocked several times at the level of Navarino street and hundreds of texts were handed out to passing drivers and residents of the area.

Nowadays, the state apparatus and its minions think they are immune. They act against all those who do not accept the miseries they impose on us and who dare to stand up to the vindictive regime. Cops, investigators, prosecutors and journalists have created a regime alliance with the sole aim of repression and the disappearance of dignity. We take responsibility for the explosive device in the house of 2nd Lieutenant Evangelos Kaisis in Melissia, who was the head of the ΟΠΚΕ team, on 18/3/22, during the transfer of our comrade Fotis Tziotzi to the interrogation room, after his arrest for the bank expropriations in Athens this summer. This cop, after the adventure with the attempted snatching of his gun by the comrade that happened outside the interrogator’s office, ran to testify against the comrade, thus charging him with additional charges.
