Anarchists claim responsibility for torching local politician’s car (USA)

On the first new moon of 2024, some anarchists torched a car in front of portland city commissioner rene gonzalez’s house. This was accomplished with a fire starter, which can be found in the outdoors section of any big box store.

Gonzalez lives in an extravagantly wealthy neighborhood adjacent to a golf course, where the roads have no potholes, the sidewalks are intact, and the countless “neighborhood watch” signs serve as a reminder to any poor outsiders and undesirables that this is not a place for us. The car was one of three at the residence and was parked in the street. Our only regret is not attacking the other two vehicles.

On New Year’s Eve we attacked two offices of ENI PLENITUDE of Rome, one in Viale Somalia and another in Via Togliatti.

The action was carried out by placing three incendiary devices (composed of fireworks and gas cannisters) between the windows and shutters of the premises.

We struck Eni due to its responsibility in the exploitation and pollution of the Earth and the militarisation of territories, supposedly in course of being developed.

Wars are inherent to capitalism, thanks to which capital is expanding, creating new markets and resources to be plundered. Eni has interests in the search for deposits off the Gaza strip and is closely linked to Italian geopolitical interests.

In the night of 2 November we placed and set fire to tyres to block the traffic in front of the headquarters of Terna spa of via Egidio Galbani in both directions and threw stones to break the windows. Terna is the main company in Italy as regards the construction and maintenance of electrical infrastructure, but also operates abroad in countries such as Chile.

Terna is not only responsible for the environmental devastation and pollution resulting from the construction of power lines and related transformer stations, as a leading player in the process of electrifying the world as a result of the unhealthy idea of progress that this deadly system propagandises, but is also promoter of the “green revolution” caused by the recent needs of restructuring of capitalism which will only bring further exploitation of ecosystems and people. Denouncing its responsibilities is one of the objectives of our action.
This action is to be included in the international campaign for the liberation of Marcelo Villarroel. Marcelo is an anarchist prisoner in the prisons of the State of Chile, imprisoned after being in hiding in 2007 for a series of bank expropriations.

On Friday night 12/21, a Chase Bank located near Chuck Schumer’s Brooklyn apartment was shut down with ample amounts of superglue in its door lock and card reader. Its windows and walls were redecorated with “Stop Cop City” and “Free Gaza”.

JP Morgan Chase is a funder of Atlanta’s Cop City, the genocidal regime in Israel, the Mountain Valley Pipeline, as well as numerous capitalist and imperialist projects destroying the earth and causing immense suffering. It must be stopped by any means necessary.
To Chase, we are the New York rats that can’t be poisoned. We are the cockroaches that won’t die. When you least expect it, we will crawl all over your fancy dinner. We will jump out from the darkest corners of your fears to bite you in the ass. Watch out.

Between February and March 2020, all over the world, heads of state made solemn and grave announcements in order to prepare
their populations for what appeared to be a new era : one of war against the virus. Within a couple months, the sabotage of telecomcommunication infrastructures had almost become a daily event in France, as well as in other European countries. Simultaneously, a debate sprang up within anarchist and radical ecological publications, in particular about the meaning and efficiency of these acts.

How could we undermine technological control ? Could we provoke a tipping point within this situation? What scenarios did these sabotages open up ? How could we consider efficiency, organization and ethics altogether?

Nowadays, the situation has evolved, but the problems brought up by the following texts remain unresolved, maybe even more
so now, and without obvious answers : what are the links between direct action and social or ecological movements? What strategies emerge when we separate or combine anarchist, ecologist and techno-critical perspectives?

How do these strategies integrate a now-decisive element :
the war in Europe, which will guide and harden the grip of states on
their populations.

After weeks of indiscriminate bombing and a ground military invasion of Gaza, leveling homes, hospitals, and schools, the cost to human life has been over 18,800 deaths — 8000 of which are children — and over 51,000 injured. The bombings along with the ongoing Israeli blockage has created a humanitarian catastrophe leaving hundreds of thousands of Gazans displaced with little to no access to food, clean water or medical care. This genocidal assault has also taken the form of intensified repression against Palestinians in both Gaza and the West Bank — mass arrests, targeted military raids, and an escalation of settler violence. We are all too aware that this war waged by Israel is made possible in large part by weapons and equipment supplied by the United States and their allies. As anarchists living behind enemy lines, we refuse to sit by and watch yet another genocide unfold before our eyes.

So, in the early morning hours of 12/11, a fire was started at the Mercedes-Benz dealership in downtown Portland. The blaze destroyed a delivery van and burned out the exterior of their ‘wholesale parts’ garage on SW Market St. This was done as an act of economic sabotage against a corporation that develops military vehicles for the Israel Defense Forces and profits from the dispossession and occupation of Palestinians.

For the attack on Starbucks on 29/12 in Heraklion, Crete
In the night that dawned on 29/12, we decided to attack the Starbucks on Byronos and August 25th streets. The action was carried out by lighting two improvised smoke bombs and hitting the windows of the store with hammers.

After the door fell, we threw in bottles filled with red paint. Red like the blood of children in Palestine. Starbucks, among many other companies, choose not only to cover up Israel’s terrorism and murder of the Palestinian people, but are actively contributing by making deals that will take place over the soil where the victims of the Israeli State’s bloodlust are buried.

This action is an indication that we will continue to fight the terror imposed by States, despite repression and intimidation in the name of security and order.

Anonymous activists torch central Athens Christmas tree on New Year’s Eve with makeshift flame thrower, in solidarity with Palestine.

The gesture is in response to Bethlehem’s cancellation of Christmas and the international call to take action on New Years Eve, in solidarity with Palestine.

The action took place in the touristic centre of Athens. Nearby, champagne glasses overflowing with ignorance were enjoyed, while flames of rage engulfed the fake Christmas tree. For the principled among us, this season’s many trees and decorations failed to symbolise Christmas, but rather served as a reminder of the fake humanity and capitalistic individualism that alllows people to ‘celebrate’ while the Zionists continue their genocidal campaign against Palestinians in Gaza and bomb the birthplace of Jesus.
