Claim of responsibility for arson at Mercedes-Benz of Portland

After weeks of indiscriminate bombing and a ground military invasion of Gaza, leveling homes, hospitals, and schools, the cost to human life has been over 18,800 deaths — 8000 of which are children — and over 51,000 injured. The bombings along with the ongoing Israeli blockage has created a humanitarian catastrophe leaving hundreds of thousands of Gazans displaced with little to no access to food, clean water or medical care. This genocidal assault has also taken the form of intensified repression against Palestinians in both Gaza and the West Bank — mass arrests, targeted military raids, and an escalation of settler violence. We are all too aware that this war waged by Israel is made possible in large part by weapons and equipment supplied by the United States and their allies. As anarchists living behind enemy lines, we refuse to sit by and watch yet another genocide unfold before our eyes.

So, in the early morning hours of 12/11, a fire was started at the Mercedes-Benz dealership in downtown Portland. The blaze destroyed a delivery van and burned out the exterior of their ‘wholesale parts’ garage on SW Market St. This was done as an act of economic sabotage against a corporation that develops military vehicles for the Israel Defense Forces and profits from the dispossession and occupation of Palestinians.

For the attack on Starbucks on 29/12 in Heraklion, Crete
In the night that dawned on 29/12, we decided to attack the Starbucks on Byronos and August 25th streets. The action was carried out by lighting two improvised smoke bombs and hitting the windows of the store with hammers.

After the door fell, we threw in bottles filled with red paint. Red like the blood of children in Palestine. Starbucks, among many other companies, choose not only to cover up Israel’s terrorism and murder of the Palestinian people, but are actively contributing by making deals that will take place over the soil where the victims of the Israeli State’s bloodlust are buried.

This action is an indication that we will continue to fight the terror imposed by States, despite repression and intimidation in the name of security and order.

On Christmas night, activists covertly made a spectacle in the tourist hub of Athens, Syntagma square. The anonymous actors poured red paint into the central waterfall of the busy square, while scattering leaflets reading “long live Palestine” “long live the resistance” and “long live Gaza”.

Anonymous activists torch central Athens Christmas tree on New Year’s Eve with makeshift flame thrower, in solidarity with Palestine.

The gesture is in response to Bethlehem’s cancellation of Christmas and the international call to take action on New Years Eve, in solidarity with Palestine.

The action took place in the touristic centre of Athens. Nearby, champagne glasses overflowing with ignorance were enjoyed, while flames of rage engulfed the fake Christmas tree. For the principled among us, this season’s many trees and decorations failed to symbolise Christmas, but rather served as a reminder of the fake humanity and capitalistic individualism that alllows people to ‘celebrate’ while the Zionists continue their genocidal campaign against Palestinians in Gaza and bomb the birthplace of Jesus.

On the night of December 3 to 4, as part of the days of action against Lafarge and the concrete industry, we decided to take action to stop production at the Vicat cement plant in Saint-Egrève.

If, through this action, we are attacking the entire concrete industry, the choice of Vicat is no accident. Far from the image of a small local company that it tries to promote, Vicat is a concrete giant that produces almost 23 million tonnes of materials every year, with sales of over 3 billion euros. The company has a dozen subsidiaries worldwide, including some in West Africa where, in a dramatic neo-colonial logic, it massively pollutes the water and air.

The company tries to pretend that its intentions are ecologically-minded, for example by highlighting the fact that raw materials are transported by cable car from the Saint-Egrève site – manufactured by POMA, the nuclear gravedigger at Bure. Yet its activities remain among the world’s most emissive, releasing 20 mega tonnes of CO2 per year into the atmosphere, and it has not reduced its emissions in recent years, despite its promises to do so. Beyond these emissions, the company contributes to the destruction of life in many other ways. After selling concrete for the construction of the EPR, and taking part in the artificialization of the soil as part of the Grand Paris project, the company recently acquired the transport company SATM in order to participate directly in the absurd Lyon-Turin construction site.

20 Machines belonging to Brent Scarbrough vandalized at Clayton Co. construction site “may be linked to Atlanta public safety training center site”

Just off Tara Boulevard and Poston Road is a construction site full of dirt that the Clayton County Board of Commissioners hopes will bring millions to the city.

Members of the board say when the development is complete it will be a place where the community can live, work, and play.

However, the project temporarily hit a speed bump shortly before Thanksgiving after more than 20 pieces of construction equipment were vandalized.

According to the police chief, a detective on the case reports a contractor whose equipment was damaged also works on the training center, which has allegedly been the impetus for numerous acts of vandalism.

During the night of November 19 to 20, we attacked the power supply of two production sites of the Aubert et Duval corporation:

– At Firminy, we sawed through a pylon on the 220kV line supplying the site. It only partially fell.

– In Ancizes-Comps, we also set fire to a 220kV line, at the point where the high-voltage cables went underground. We were able to get close and place our devices at the foot of the sheaths, without harm.

Aubert et Duval is a key player in the French military industry. It supplies parts for Naval Group submarines, Dassault Rafales and Framatom nuclear power plants.

In this optic, on October 29th the minister of Israeli Energy, Israel Katz declared he has granted 12 licences to six companies for the exploration of natural gas off the Mediterranean coast to create more competition and diversify suppliers.

Athens ,We claim responsibility for the following attacks on fascist targets:

i) In the early hours of 11/17, we placed an incendiary device in the house of the former member of the Hellenic Solution, Anastasia Aikaterini Alexopoulou, in Zografou. The Hellenic Solution is a far-right party that sought to replace Golden Dawn in Parliament, and has been there since 2019. Velopoulos’s party went to the elections promoting the whole extreme agenda and mainly fences and machine guns on the borders. Now these costumed fascists have ended up a funny opposition that turns its back on the government to pay off its debts. (After the act we have been informed that this particular piece of trash has moved from the house that was recently targeted, such an operational error will not be repeated)

ii) In the early hours of 11/17, we also placed an incendiary device in the house of the fascist of the neighbourhood of Zografou, Vassilis Barletis. After using information, Barletis, a well-known fascist in the area, was added to the itinerary and we decided to leave him a gift from us in his view.

Anarchists Sabotage Train Lines in Northern California in Solidarity with Palestine

This action was taken in response to a larger call coming out of the Bay Area to protest against the continued bombing of Gaza and the violation of the Ceasefire by Israel.

On the morning of December 2nd at 5:00am we sabotaged various strategically located train lines in Northern California: in Pittsburgh, Oakland, Niles, Bahia, and Lodi. We used a tactic shared by natives and accomplices of the Wet’Suwet’en tribe in so called Canada. We took large gauge copper wire and wrapped it around both rails of the same train track. Doing this completed the low voltage current running thru the rails notifying the train operator that the track is occupied and cannot be used until the obstruction is found and removed. This method for stopping train traffic yields the lowest possibility for derailment, and thus the least likely to cause harm to human or animal life. We did this in solidarity with the ongoing resistance to genocide being waged against Palestinians by the so called state of Israel.

Anarchist comrade Alfredo M. Bonanno has died on 6th December at the age of 86

Alfredo Maria Bonanno, born in 1937 in Catania, Sicily, is one of the most prolific contemporary anarchists, responsible for Anarchismo editions and other publishing ventures. In 1977 he was sentenced to 18 months in prison for his book La Gioia Armata (Armed Joy). This book had been published at a historical moment when the Italian revolutionary movement was openly going on the offensive, while similar conditions existed in other European countries (Germany, Spain, England, Greece, Chile and more) and the question of violence was on the daily agenda. His contribution lies in a celebration of the pervasive class violence that liberates and satisfies the individual, but at the same time he sounds the alarm about the emergence of the armed party, which reduces the class conflict to a militaristic dimension, imposing the mediation of a small minority of armed men on the complexity of tens of thousands of people struggling by all means against the current reorganization of Capital, which at that moment seemed weak.

In the spirit of the book, all authentic liberating and destructive action comes from a logic of satisfaction in the struggle, not a self-sacrificing duty in accordance with the dictates of a micro-bureaucracy. The Italian Supreme Court ordered the destruction of the copies of the book that were in circulation, and sent a circular to public libraries to dispose of any copies they might have had.

Several librarians objected to this Nazi-inspired tactic. Its circulation was generally banned, and copies were confiscated from the homes of anarchist militants in the context of police raids on houses.

Shortly afterwards, the author was accused of being an “instigator” of the Azione Rivoluzionaria, an armed organisation of 1976-79, which operated on the basis of “affinity groups” throughout central Italy, mainly against newspapers and party offices, and similar “manipulative mechanisms of consensus-building”. In 1979 the organisation was practically dismantled with the arrest of 86 people and the arrest of Salvatore Cinieri and Gianfranco Faina. The first went on to die in prison in a scuffle with criminal inmates when he defended a prisoner suspected of submitting an escape plan, while the second was released to die of lung cancer after being diagnosed with a tumour while in custody.
