Bobigny (Seine-Saint-Denis): imprisonment of an anarchist accused of arson

Ultra-left: an activist arrested after the burning of diplomatic vehicles in the upscale districts of Paris
Le Parisien, June 16, 2022 (excerpts only)
An Italian man in his forties was arrested by police officers from the Sub-Directorate of the Anti-Terrorist Section (SDAT) of the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) last Friday night [June 11] when he set fire to the vehicle registered to the Guatemalan ambassador’s diplomatic service in the 17th district of Paris.
The arsonist, dressed in black to blend in with the night, was arrested at 3:25 a.m. in Val-d’Oise when he had just packed his bicycle inside his car to return home. A pattern repeated dozens of times, always on weekends and often on Saturday nights. To avoid detection, the Italian resident, very careful and discreet, always acted alone, left his cell phones on at home, used protective gloves and frequented streets that were not accessible by car and that avoided surveillance cameras. These are techniques to escape the police that are well known to the ultra-left, whose activists are often difficult to identify and arrest.

An Introduction to Mapping the Local Arms Industry and its Vulnerable Points

via ruestungsindustrie

What is the need for a careful analysis of the arms industry with all its suppliers, logistics, financiers, researchers and lobbyists? Is it not sufficient to know where the major manufacturers of weapons and war equipment are located in order to be able to attack them? Just as the Disarm Rheinmetall campaign, for example, has decided, at least in principle, to focus its opposition to the arms industry primarily via one of Germany’s largest arms companies, the Rheinmetall Group? Of course, it would be a great victory to successfully shatter the major arms corporations whose core business revolves around weapons and war materiel, but if one remains realistic for a moment, the barbed-wire-armored, camera-surveilled and security patrolled factory premises of companies like Rheinmetall, Krauss-Maffai Wegmann, Heckler & Koch, DIEHL Defence, Airbus and Co. offer only a marginal scope for (precise) sabotage and attacks. Certainly, it is the producers of tanks, fighter planes, machine guns, missiles and bombs who are a particular thorn in the side of all of us, who most visibly produce the equipment used for murders, genocides and slaughters perpetrated elsewhere in the world, which always stirs up social protest, but only because the arms industry has halfway succeeded in hiding the rest of its structure, its logistics and its profiteers. We, as anti-militarists and anarchists, do not have to fall for this deception as well.

A careful analysis of the arms industry, revealing its networks, entanglements, suppliers, logistics, its research and lobbyists, and last but not least its financiers, can on the one hand show how closely intertwined technology and production are with war, and counter the myth that any (arms) corporation can simply be „disarmed“ and go on to produce civilian goods for general prosperity. On the other hand, such an analysis can also point out those weak points where sabotage and attacks are possible in a much more low-threshold way, where there is no need for barbed-wire fences to be climbed, cameras to be tricked and, finally, security personnel to be messed with before even standing on the spacious premises of one of the production sites of organized murder. And yet, other attacks can cause exactly the same impact, namely idle production facilities and/or the destruction of manufactured war materiel before it even reaches one of the battlefields of this world. Berlin (Germany) – Expropriate CG-Gruppe: CG’s son’s car burns

de.indymedia.org / Saturday, May 14, 2022
On the night of May 13, we set fire to the car of the son of Christopher Gröner, billionaire and boss of the real estate company CG-Gruppe. We don’t need to write more about Christopher Gröner. He is a disgusting millionaire who makes his profits from real estate and speculation and shamelessly exposes his wealth, which is based on the exploitation of others (see hXXps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Y2WxM2Srlc). In Berlin, his lobbying work consists, among other things, of installing the Christmas lights on the Ku’damm every year, where all his buddies have their offices.
CG-Junior’s profession is to be a daddy’s boy and to live in the Berlin district of Moabit, at the expense and with the help of his ugly father. The CG group had first woven its plots in Leipzig and was now trying to do it again in Berlin. The son’s car was recognizable among other things by its Leipzig license plate, followed by the personalized code of the CG company. We don’t want the CG group in Berlin either.
So concretely, we used fire to expropriate his private car and joined the “expropriate Deutsche Wohnen” conference which took place shortly afterwards. We know that the expropriation of housing from below can only happen if we no longer pay rent. We are part of this “bottom”, of this tenants’ movement, of these social struggles. But until a rent strike takes place, we can burn, break and destroy the beautiful things that all the rich landlords buy with our money. With our action we want to show concrete possibilities to fuel the conflict, as well as to show our common strength.
At the same time, we are very sorry that other cars have been affected. Our goal is that this does not happen.
Let’s confront the real estate speculators openly and drive them out of this city.
Greetings also to those in Leipzig!

Santiago (Chile): Clashes with police and arson attack on a bus

Clashes with police on the JGM* campus and arson attack on a Transantiago bus
On the eve of a new commemoration of May Day, when the left of capital celebrates work as if it were something good, natural and desirable, we took to the streets to confront the police, because we refuse to remain indifferent to the criminal peace that they want to impose on us in order to maintain this order of misery, isolation and crisis.
The insurgent and incendiary youth shows us that there is an intuitive refusal and hostility towards the world of adults and work, where time is consumed in a death machine which tends towards the annihilation of human beings, the earth and all the species that inhabit it, and where the future is presented as an immense accumulation of catastrophes.
With this new commemoration of May 1st, we join the days of struggle, remembering the memory and the history of those who have fallen in the struggle and prefiguring with their actions a world beyond the state and capital. We join with the most radical expressions of our time, which continue to fan the flames of conflict, as well as with resistance and organization, wherever they may be found.
OUR LIVES BEFORE THEIR PROFITS
FOR THE COMPLETE AND TOTAL RECOVERY OF OUR LIFE AND TIME
ABOLITION OF LABOR AND CLASS SOCIETY
SOCIAL WAR AGAINST THE STATE, PATRIARCHY AND CAPITAL
SOLIDARITY WITH THE FALLEN COMPAS IN THE RECENT DAYS OF DEMONSTRATION
FREEDOM FOR THE PRISONERS OF THE REVOLT, SUBVERSIVES, THE MAPUCHE AND ANARCHISTS

Hamburg (Germany): chance has found the right cable

An embankment fire hit the right cable in the middle of the city: since Thursday evening, May 12, long-distance train traffic, and more precisely that of several lines of the German high-speed train (called ICE), has been disrupted, especially between Hamburg and Berlin, where almost nothing works. Disruptions are expected at least until Sunday, May 15 included.
The cable fire occurred near the Sternschanze station in Hamburg, on the connecting line that runs from Altona to the central station via Diebsteich, Sternschanze and Dammtor. It is one of the busiest lines in Germany. The cause of the fire is still unknown, but the police do not assume at this time that it was an external intervention. The company explained that all communication between the signal boxes passed through the affected cable, since it is through it that all signals of the switches are controlled. According to the railroad spokeswoman, it is a 1,000-conductor copper cable that would be very difficult to repair. The extensive repair work is still going on.

After the offices in Nizhnevartovsk, Zubova Polyana, Voronezh, Sverdlovsk, Ivanovo and Lukhovitsy (Moscow), two new military recruitment offices have been burned with molotovs in Omsk and Cherepovets. These are the seventh and eighth of their kind to suffer the same fate in Russia since the invasion of Ukraine.

Omsk (Siberia), May 13, 2022

On the night of May 13, 2022 in Omsk, Siberia, unknown individuals threw several molotovs through the windows of the Central District military registration and enlistment office at 74 Pushkin Street. At least two windows were broken. One of the premises of the military registration and enlistment office caught fire and an area of 30 square meters burned. It is also reported that “some archive documents were damaged”.
Cherepovets (Vologda), May 8, 2022
On the night of May 8, 2022 in Cherepovets (Vologda), two unknown individuals set fire to and threw several Molotov bottles against the windows of the military registration and enrollment office. The office is located on the first floor of an administrative building at 118 Krasnodontsev Street. In the video that is circulating, one person throws the molotovs, while the second keeps watch. The fire damaged two window frames and blackened the facade of the building.
Let’s hope that the partisans remain free and that all military registration and enlistment offices are burned to the ground!

Turin, Italy – Cassation for operation Scripta Manent: solidarity initiative in Turin

On 25th May the Court of Cassation will decide concerning the trial related to the “Scripta Manent” investigation at which one comrade, Anna, was sentenced to 16 years and 6 months, and three comrades, Nicola, Marco and Alfredo to 13 months, 21 months and 20 years respectively.

Among the charges they were sentenced for, as well as that of subversive association and related crimes, for some there is the charge of massacre. As always the State is implementing a policy of reversal of responsibilities given that it is the State itself that commits massacres unpunished in wars, prisons, seas, workplaces, streets, every day in its constant affirmed practice of the monopoly of violence. Italy – War a piece at a time

War a piece at a time

On 5th April an outrageous meeting was held at the university of sociology in Trento, a meeting on “participatory processes” centred on the TAV project in Trentino, where the main guest was the mayor of Trento, Franco Ianeselli. In actual fact, a lesson in propaganda on behalf of RFI [Rete Ferroviaria Italiana, Italian Railway Network]. Not long afterwards, in the morning, the university of Sociology made one of its lecture rooms available for a conference entitled “The war in Ukraine and politics in Italy”, organized by the “Jean Monnet” research centre. An initiative in the streets in protest against the presence of the mayor awaited him at the exit (who complains about a “non democratic” confrontation), but also pointing out the role of the university in its collaboration with the war industry. Here we report a speech made by a comrade on the occasion.

A few years ago we wrote a small pamphlet, which ended up on the desks of prosecutors in the anti-anarchist operation denominated “Renata”, saying that in order to be against war it is necessary to attack the health of the State, because to attack the State means to strike the essence of war.

The battle is in the streets!

“There are no supreme saviours.
Neither god, nor Caesar, nor tribune”,
An old song

The results of the first round of the presidential elections, which in any case had nothing cheerful to offer except the funeral oration of the old parties of the PS and the Republicans, have arrived. In a pale replay of 2017, we should delegate our power and march in step behind the ideal gendarme and, above all, the State and Capital, or abandon ourselves to the throes of racism and an ”anti-system” complicit in the reign of hierarchy and money. Another possibility is to express our revolt without waiting.

The electoral system and their democracy are illusions, where we are urged to identify with the concerns of the power, to accept the language and the agenda. All this reveals what elections have never ceased to be: a moment synonymous with passivity where the appetite for delegation and resignation is stimulated. We should, with sorrow or enthusiasm, confuse our interests with those of the established order and empathize with representatives vying for an extra share of wealth and power.
