Thessaloniki, Greece : Greeting to the memorial for anarchist comrade Alfredo M. Bonanno in Carrara, Italy en/it

To the comrades of Carrara, who will honour the memory and struggle of anarchist revolutionary Alfredo M. Bonanno at the Circolo Culturale Anarchico ”Gogliardo Fiaschi” on December 8th 2024.

Comrades,

By raising our insurgent fists from the Greek metropolis, we welcome your initiative to honour the memory of the comrade Alfredo M. Bonanno. A few kilometres away from you, the answer to the question “Why is it necessary to highlight the historicality of the work of the comrade Alfredo”, lies in the simplest of concepts: the constant need of a free person to revolt against misery and the constant necessity for the world of poverty to be completely destroyed.

At a time of political retreat and reform, it is our collective duty to undo the natural death of a comrade, giving breath and vibrancy to the propositions that characterized his life and his passing from every field of struggle. To fight radically and with a point of aggression, to sharpen the conflict in all the fields of social antagonism. To fight to win, not moments, but the totality of freedom.

Update from Cassavetias prisons demo , and from the gathering at Korydallos prison in Athens 12/12/24

On Thursday, 12/12/24, approximately 40 comrades from different cities, gathered outside the Kassavetia prison to support our comrade K.K., who is imprisoned in this particular “correctional” facility.

The aim was for Dinos K. on his 18th birthday and being a prisoner of the social war, not to feel alone, not to feel that our solidarity, our practical political/material/moral and psychological support for him, will not accompany him  UNTIL FREEDOM

(Athens) Update from the gathering at Korydallos prison Thu. 12/12
Today, Thursday 12/12 in the afternoon, a gathering was held at Korydallos prison against mandatory DNA collection, for which an order had been given a few days before, but also in solidarity with our comrades who were about to be subjected to this torture process.
The gathering remained for a while at the basketball courts opposite the male prison then headed opposite the women’s prison, where we heard the imprisoned comrades. Slogans were shouted and fliers were thrown.

COMPULSORY DNA COLLECTION IS TORTURE

On 31/10/24, after a device exploded in an apartment in Ampelokipi, our anarchist comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris fell in the battle for social and class liberation. Our anarchist comrade Marianna M., who was also in the apartment, ended up severely injured in the “Evangelismos” Hospital. The well-known witch hunt followed, resulting in the arrests of comrade Dimitris, anarchist comrade Dimitra Z., anarchist comrade N. Romanou and A.K.

RESPONSIBILITY CLAIM//HONOUR TO COMRADE KYRIAKOS XYMITIRIS

It was a long road to get here. Very long, my brother. The handcuffs weighed heavily on the hands. The evenings when the little light bulb shook its head saying “time’s over”. We read the history of the world in small names, in some dates carved with a fingernail on the prison walls, in some childish drawings of the future dead – a heart, a bow, a ship that surely tore through time. In some verses that were left in the middle so that we could finish them, in some verses that were finished so that we wouldn’t finish them. It was a long road to get here – a difficult road. Now this road is yours. You hold it like you hold your friend’s hand and measure his pulse on the mark left by the handcuffs. Normal pulse – Sure hand – Sure road.
Y.Ritsos    (Γ.Ρίτσος)

On 31/10, an explosive device exploded in an apartment on Arkadias Street in Ampelokipi, resulting in the death of anarchist comrade KYRIAKOS XYMITIRIS and the injury of anarchist comrade Marianna M. In the following days, a media show followed, usual for Greek conditions, which showed the way for what would follow from the counter-terrorism and the authorities in general. The state as a whole, with the cooperation of the cops-media-judicial authorities, presents the well-played scenarios about the revival of domestic terrorism, enriching them, so that the crowd watching does not get bored, with the description of ”third generation terrorism”. All of this has already led to the pre-trial detention of 5 comrades.

For our part, first of all we do not accept the term terrorism when it comes to urban guerrilla warfare and general political violence. For us, terrorism is living below the poverty line, exorbitant rents, exorbitant bills, gentrification and redevelopment, police brutality, non-functional trains, and guns that fire in the air.

Athens, Greece : Smashing gentrification in the name of Kyriakos X. by Anarchists

Exarcheia has been transformed into a sterile, dead tourist entertainment zone where the culture of consumerism dominates and alienated, superficial relationships prevail. Hipster shops, swanky hotels, flashy airbnbs now flood the neighbourhood, turning it into a flashy showcase for the apathetic apolitical who museumise its rebellious characteristics.

Against this condition that they are trying to impose on us, we keep our political projects alive and unchanged and confirm the prospects of substantial comradeship. Recently, Exarcheia was characterized by a regime of apathy that broke on December 6th, when widespread clashes took place and slogans were shouted for our fallen comrade Kyriakos X.

GREECE : FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE FUND FOR PRISONERS AND PROSECUTED REVOLUTIONARIES.

FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE FUND FOR PRISONERS AND PROSECUTED REVOLUTIONARIES.

Comrades and friends,

The Solidarity Fund for Imprisoned and Persecuted Revolutionaries was “born” 14 years ago from within the ranks of the anarchist/anti-authoritarian movement. From then until today the Fund has had an uninterrupted and diverse presence in the history of the movement in Greece. From the open, nationwide assembly of the structure, dozens of comrades have passed through and actively participated, while today the Fund consists of two sub-assemblies, in Athens and Thessaloniki. Throughout these years, the structure of the Fund has provided material support to dozens of political prisoners and persecuted revolutionaries. And it has managed to do this continuously and on a monthly basis. In addition to the financial support to the prisoners, captives of the social/class war, the structure attempts to support politically the comrades who are inside the walls, with events all over Greece, solidarity actions, presence in the adjacent courts.

As a Solidarity Fund we are made of the flesh of the radical movement. The people who participate in its assemblies come from it and act politically within it. The resources of the structure are resources that come from the practical solidarity of our political milieu ( in Greece and abroad) with prisoners. Through our publications, our events of all kinds, we try to raise the necessary funds for the monthly financial support of our incarcerated comrades. At the same time, a significant part of the material support comes from contributions from groups, collectives, individuals within and outside Greece. The structure is, in this way, another link between the movement and political prisoners, one of the “bodies” that the movement itself has created as another constant point of reference for the multifaceted solidarity it has shown towards them over time.

[Athens,Greece] Update from today’s demonstration in Monastiraki square in solidarity with the imprisoned comrades

Today, Saturday 30/11 afternoon, a gathering was held in Monastiraki in solidarity with the comrades imprisoned for the Ampelokipi case.

Throughout the gathering, there were loud slogans of solidarity with our comrades who are in prison and against the state and capital, intervening for some time in one of the most central points of tourism and over-consumerism in the city.

Assembly in memory of K.X. and in solidarity with the persecuted comrades in the Ampelokipoi case

On the 31st of October, in an explosion in an apartment in Athens, the anarchist comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris fell in the battle for social and class liberation. The anarchist comrade Marianna suffered severe injuries, after being treated at Evangelismos Hospital under constant police surveillance, she was transferred on Friday 15/11 to Korydallos Prison. In the aftermath of what happened on 31st October, the comrades Dimitra Z, Dimitris, Nikos R. and A.K have been imprisoned as well in the pre-detention prison in Korydallos. The five comrades have been charged under the anti-terrorism law 187A: formation and membership of a terrorist organization, explosion and supply, possession and manufacture of explosives, damage to private property.

The pressure exerted by the Greek anti-terror unit, working hand in hand with the interrogator in charge of the case, led to the early discharge of comrade Marianna from the hospital, with the management of Evaggelismos hospital not holding responsibility for their patient. As with every prison in the world, Korydallos is a place ruled by mistreatment and harsh conditions. The women’s section of the prison is even more neglected than the men’s section, making it a faithful copy of the patriarchal society in which we live. This torture inflicted on the comrade is rooted in the most classic practices of Western patriarchy, which is enslaving and colonial. The stripping of subjectivity and manipulation of bodies as objects, by force, is a historical practice of white patriarchy. This tries, through European states, to create the myth of an external enemy—an enemy of color, with a different alphabet. However, it is clear that patriarchy is a current enemy coming from the Western world, and is seen in the mistreatment to which the comrade and many other imprisoned individuals are being subjected.

These words we speak in solidarity with our comrade Kyriakos Ximitris and in solidarity with Marianna, Dimitra e Dimitris.

The 31st of october 2024, our anarchist comrade Kyriakos has been killed by a bomb that exploded in an apartment in Athens. Another comrade, Marianna, was seriously injured by the explosion.

Marianna spent two weeks in hospital, where she had to fight not only her heavy injuries but also the torture from the greek anti-terror-cops, who did – unsuccesfully – try to get whatever information out of her.

HOWLING WOLF COMMANDO SET TWO MEAT TRUCKS ON FIRE IN MEMORY OF LOBO. 25th November, Lincolnshire UK

“On the night of the anniversary of the death of Lobo, Elefteria Hambi, we set alight two meat trucks parked on the road next to a slaughterhouse in Lincolnshire. We placed a small bottle of gasoline next to the front tyre and used fire starter paste to create a quick fuse that would allow us to monitor the safety of the operation. With no buildings or people around, the operation was successful and nobody risked being hurt.

We remember through fire, with the hope that from the ashes we can build a world all our martyrs would be proud of.

Lobo never forgotten.
Kyriakos Ximitris always present.

Howling wolf commando.”

POSTER : REBELLION IS THE EXPLOSIVE URGENCY OF PUTTING OURSELVES ON THE LINE (LONDON,UK)

OBEDIENCE IS A PROGRAMMED, ORDERED EXISTENCE

REBELLION IS THE EXPLOSIVE URGENCY OF PUTTING OURSELVES ON THE LINE

An untimely blast in an Athens apartment on the 31st of October left an anarchist dead and another seriously wounded. In a millisecond the preparation of a single liberatory attack on one aspect of domination expands into a wide panorama of the social war.

With a resounding blast the struggle is upturned, its hitherto anonymous players thrown into the forefront of the clash. Shock and anguish invade our hearts and minds for the death of Kyriakos Xymitiris and the wounding of Marianna Manoura – well-known, esteemed comrades active in the many-faceted anarchist struggle in Greece and beyond – but so does resolve and unwavering complicity. Immediately an alchemy of rebel love and defiance surges forth, overrunning the borders by which states segment their control over this ruined earth.

In response to a call from the Assembly of Solidarity with the imprisoned, fugitive and persecuted fighters, on the night of 17 to 18 November 2024, a vehicle belonging to MT énergies, a photovoltaic solar panel company (mtenergiefrance.com), was set on fire.

Whether in France, Greece or elsewhere, green capitalism allows civilisation to consume ever more resources, land and lives. Let’s burn it down.

( Greece EN/FR/ES/DE ) For my Comrade Kyriakos X. by Anarchist comrade Marriana M.

Marriana a warm embrace from afar. Your strength and courage inspires us, Translated by Act for freedom now!  via: athens.indymedia

For my Comrade Kyriakos X. Goodbye my comrade,

“You shall turn into ashes, old aged world your path towards your crushing end is written and you cannot break us killing our brothers/sisters in battle and know this we will come out victorious even if our sacrifices are heavy”

Nazim Hikmet

So, belatedly, I would like to write a few words about my comrade and fellow traveler for the last 6 years of my life, K. Xymitiris, who departed this life in an apartment on Arcadia Street. I met comrade Kyriakos in the city of Berlin a few years ago.

Our common determination and agony for a better world quickly brought us together. With midnight conversations at the bar where he worked and walks through the city’s alleys, we exchanged views, with Kyriakos having the most solid opinions and insight on every matter I had concerns about.

Our shared vision grew roots within us, at the same time creating a strong relationship based on understanding, comradeship, and love. Together we struggled and formed our positions about everything that troubled us. I grew up with him on a journey looking for my struggle identity.

And Kyriakos always by my side, not in front or behind, beside me. Holding my hand, supporting me, with his smile and his insight. Always giving the right answers when everyone else was unsure , clearing the landscape where all the others felt lost. With a developed sense of solidarity, he always stood by anyone in need, without caring about repression, targeting from authorities, or his own well-being.

Always prominent in all struggles: against repression, gentrification, forced labour, colonialism, patriarchy, prisons. Indispensable as a comrade and as a friend, wherever he was, he filled the space with his modesty and fighting spirit.

Supporting unity in the struggle for the revolutionary cause and the confrontational, fighting and counter-attacking mentality always with respect for everybody standing beside him, giving space where all others suffocated.

This is how he lived, at least next to me, committed and persistent, optimistic and joyful. Ready for anything, taking risks, small and big, he dedicated his everyday life to the struggle, without a second thought.

Always there next to me, his friends and comrades, anyone who was in need of him about the smallest or the biggest thing. Always there to take on the most tiresome, the most risky role.

Always there to hold our hand, to accompany us, to open the way.

Always there by my  side for the immigrant, the abused, the worker, the prisoner.

And always by my side to support me, to help me, to listen to me, to fight with me, to embrace me sending fear away, to encourage me driving second thoughts away, to fill the days and nights with comradeship and fighting spirit.

COMRADE KYRIAKOS No goodbye is enough. No text can describe the pain of your loss. On 31/10 I was left in half, down a road where I wanted you by my side. On 31/10 I lost the smile that only you knew how to bring. On 31/10 I lost the optimism that only you could transmit to me. But on 31/10 I also made a promise to you, to me, to us and to so many others that you would not be forgotten. On 31/10 I stayed behind to talk about you, about the struggle you gave and about those you did not have the chance to give. On 31/10 I raised my fist and with my bloodied mouth I swore to FIGHT. On 31/10 I raised my fist and amidst the ruins of Arcadia Street said KYRIAKOS XYMITIRIS PRESENTE!

“Our most beautiful days we haven’t lived them yet and what I want to tell you the most beautiful of all haven’t told you yet”

Nazim Hikmet

With boundless love

your comrade Marianna M.

Indonesia: Burning of campus building in East Java in solidarity with Nikos Romanos and all anarchist prisoners

Communique from Indonesia, east java:

Note: english translation is only a part of the whole communique
“A few days ago, precisely on November 22nd. I personally, who am not affiliated with any affinities, would like to give a communique.
That there was a burning of a building at one of the leading campuses on the south coast of East Java. I want to claim that the action was my doing.

What I did was purely solidarity with distant friends who have never met face to face. Especially to Nikos Romanos, Der Enzig and all the other anarchist prisoners. This is total revenge on the ward that gave birth to the disaster, namely the campus. I am isolated and not caught.
