Gratkorn (Austria): Brand new excavators burned

The Gratkorn hydroelectric power station, under construction on the Mur river north of Graz, lost two excavators in flames of rage. The material damage is enormous. Energie Steiermark [a company producing and distributing electrical energy, three quarters of which is owned by the Austrian state of Styria] wants to keep up its green image, but it has to contend with clouds of black smoke…
Since the completion of the hydroelectric power station on the Mur in Graz, a project that had been the subject of major protests for years, many people thought the struggle was over. Yet the roadmap of the big companies has not changed. Verbund [Austria’s largest electricity producer and one of the largest producers of hydroelectric power in Europe] and Energie Steiermark are still wreaking havoc along the Mur, building one dam after another, ripping out thousands of trees, and ignoring the concerns of nature conservationists. The images of the many dead fish after the flood of mud will not be forgotten.
Your greenwashing plans are not a solution to the climate crisis, but maintain the status quo, so that everyone can continue to consume as much (electricity) as they want. Continuing to consume comfortably: THAT is the real interest of today’s civilisation!

Pulling the filter is fast, it doesn’t really make any noise or draw attention like lighting the thing on fire, No nasty chemicals escape as the engine is destroyed, It doesn’t cause damage that will hurt someone, and nothing tells the machine or the operator the filter is missing. Expect to find 2 filters, one inside another on almost all heavy equipment.

On Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Medialuna* of the Valiant of NOS, located next to Route 5 South, in the commune of San Bernardo, some attendees found a suspicious device under the bleachers, calling GOPE personnel who quickly went to the site.
Specialized police personnel found two incendiary devices composed of plastic bottles filled with fuel, plus cables, batteries and a watch. After hours of work and the evacuation of 300 attendees, the GOPE managed to deactivate the device, indicating in the press that it was destined to be activated at 14:00hrs or in 14 hours (press versions are contradictory in this regard).

Roseville Office Attacked In Solidarity With Atlanta Forest (usa)

Responding to the call from comrades in Atlanta for an 21/8/18 day of action in solidarity with the struggle to defend the Atlanta forest; vandals broke into the office complex housing Corporation Service Company’s (CSC) regional office in Roseville, a suburb of Minneapolis. On Saturday 21st, four processions, Violet, Golden, Green and Circus, spread out from different starting points to reach the same target. In a context where Andra is trying to get the Dossier d’Utilité Publique (DUP) accepted and is announcing a public inquiry in September to make it its democratic showcase, we have targeted the work associated with Cigéo.
The processions marched on or around the route of the railway line that runs from Ligny-en-Barrois to Saudron-Guillaumé, passing through Gondrecourt-le-Château. This railway line is intended to carry radioactive waste to the downstream facility and then bury it underground. If the DUP is accepted, the renovation of this railway line could officially begin, as well as the expropriation of the surrounding houses and fields.

On July 15, while mountain climbing in Mavrorachi vilage of Pilion we discovered two dogs chained to two trees. As soon as they saw us they started to bark as if they were calling us to come to them. Seeing their strong need and desire for liberation, we decided to intervene and lead them to freedom. As we said, the two creatures were tied with chains about one metre long to two trees, which greatly restricted their movements.
In the suffocating context in which they were forced to live, their food was down on the ground next to their faeces. The only thing certain is that their owner is not interested in their hygiene or living conditions.

Following is the text:
About 150,000 euros of material damage at the A49 construction site in Schwalmstadt SCHWALMSTADT (ol).  Five different construction vehicles and equipment were severely damaged last week at the A49 freeway construction site in Schwalmstadt. The unknowns allegedly caused material damage of about 150,000 euros.  The police see a connection with protests against the the further construction of the A 49.  According to the police, the property damage allegedly occurred between July 2 and 5.
