Berlin (Germany): two excavators set on fire at a Strabag construction site

Two Strabag excavators go on climate strike – Switch Off

de.indymedia,  23 September  2023

It’s gratifying to see that attacks on the companies and infrastructures that fuel ecological catastrophe are currently multiplying. Even if they’re just a drop in the ocean, they’re an expression of the fact that not everyone is content to make demands of politicians or look on with resignation as the world goes to shit.

On the night of Monday September 18, we added two excavators belonging to the Strabag company to the list of targets attacked under the slogan “Switch Off”. Unfortunately, we were able to extinguished before they definitively disappeared, but it was enough to bring the construction site on Köpenickerstraße in Berlin’s Mitte district to a standstill.

Athens: Arson Attack in Solidarity with the Prison Struggle in Greece

Claim of Responsibility (Athens)

We claim responsibility for the arson of a vehicle belonging to the municipality of Kaisariani (a town in eastern Athens) at midnight on September 26th in an aggressive display of solidarity with the struggle that prisoners all over Greece have been fighting for the last month against the new law announced by the Minister of Justice Florides and the arbitrary actions of the prosecutor’s office of Lamia.

The government being in a panic, unable to manage the crises that have arisen immediately after its re-election, tries to satisfy its conservative audience by attacking the prisoners once again, knowing that the wider society is permanently apathetic towards them.

Athens,Greece:Taking responsibility for a vicious inflammatory attack 24/9/23 on Eurobank in Athens by Anarchists

Taking responsibility for a vicious inflammatory attack on Eurobank in Athens by Anarchists

Every day power reveals its true face to us, oppressing and plundering our lives. So, in response, in the early hours of Sunday 24/9/2023 we carried out a simultaneous, disruptive and incendiary attack on a Eurobank branch on Evelpidon Street.

Technological sophistication and the militarization of urban tissues have formed a grid of generalized surveillance and monitoring of our movements. Security systems, continuous patrols, constant forces of ELAS officers, (Greek police)targeting and incessant surveillance are the methods through which power is unleashed.

Another method, which intensifies the regime of technological autocracy, is also the new identity cards which include fingerprints and precise biometric data, thus constituting another arrow in the system’s quiver.

WE CALL FOR SOLIDARITY AND DISSEMINATION!

On 24th July 2020 the anarchist comrades Mónica Caballero and Francisco Solar were arrested, accused of the explosive attack by parcel bomb against the 54th police station of Huechuraba, at the ex-minister of the interior Rodrigo Hinzpeter and the bomb attack on the Tánica building, symbol of entrepreneurial power located in the neighbourhood of the rich.

After three years in custody, the trial began on 18th of July 2023 with which they intend to sentence them to decades of prison for having faced the powerful with anarchist action, and tried to destroy the monopoly of State violence.

Text of Anarchist comrade Giannis Michailidis on the struggle for his release (Greece)

Position of Giannis Michailidis on the struggle for his release

Introduction

As I enjoy my freedom again, won through my second hunger and thirst strike, I reflect on the complex historical mosaic that not only shaped my personal choices but also wove the collective struggle against the state-capitalism complex. Far from being solitary acts of assertion, the hunger strikes were instead part of the social antagonism within the complex dynamics taking shape in Greece and the global landscape as the assault of the dominant powers deepens.

The backdrop in which these hunger strikes unfolded is characterised by profound global challenges, where the grip of capitalism has led to an alarming concentration of wealth and therefore power in the hands of a select few. Meanwhile, the vast majority of humanity lives in extreme poverty, crushed by the burden of industrial production and the relentless pursuit of profit by corporations. At the same time, the indiscriminate exploitation of natural resources has brought the planet dangerously close to the brink of irreversible climate change and has caused an unprecedented mass extinction of species.

In this web of power, States, whether Western or Eastern, impose their power by claiming a monopoly of violence. They blatantly wipe out entire populations with state-of-the-art weapons of mass destruction or use more subtle tactics, such as weaponizing hunger by systematically dismantling vital infrastructure in conflict-ridden areas. The world is on the brink of collapse because of nuclear arsenals ready to wipe it out in an instant. Stripping away the harsh reality, the real agents of terror are revealed – the States. In these circumstances, as I reflect on the battle for my personal freedom, I recognise its connection with the wider struggle from which my prolonged imprisonment had temporarily distanced me.

TINIA NEGRA ANTI PRISON TATTOO CONVENTION OCT. 13-15 2023 (GERMANY)

We are very happy to invite you to participate in the Anti-Prison Tattoo and Body Modification Convention “Tinta Negra”. We are organising the event to support anarchist, subversive and revolutionary prisoners. The idea is that all the funds raised will go to the prisoners and their solidarity structures.

As a group of different individuals against prison society, we have decided to organise “Tinta Negra”, an anti-prison tattoo and body modification convention in solidarity with anarchist, subversive and revolutionary prisoners, which will take place in October. Tinta negra was born out of the need to financially support comrades in prison. Preventive arrests and their investigation periods are often long and expensive, and long exemplary sentences are part of the hard repressive strategy of inter-states collaboration. The costs are extremely high and difficult to afford, especially for the solidarity circles around the prisoners who are also hit by the repression.

December 8 case: Anti-terrorism attacks social struggles (France)

Day 2, October 4: request for access to the investigating cops and questions about the defendants’ personalities

December 8 case: Anti-terrorism attacks social struggles
September 27, 2023

Detailed political analysis of the case file.

Soulèvements de la Terre activists detained by the Sub-Directorate for Anti-Terrorism (SDAT), anti-terrorist units mobilized against anti-nuclear activists, CGT trade unionists arrested by the DGSI (The General Directorate for Internal Security, NdT), RAID units (elite tactical unit of the french national police, NdT) deployed during urban uprisings… The recurrent mobilization of anti-terrorist investigative resources to repress social movements, combined with the dissemination of unequivocal language – “ecoterrorism”, “intellectual terrorism” – leave no room for doubt.

The aim is to confuse terrorism with social struggles, so as to prepare public opinion for the fact that the perpetrators of political illegalism will soon be charged with terrorism. And to give free rein to political repression, by giving it the benefit of the most complete repressive arsenal the law offers today: anti-terrorist legislation.

It is against this backdrop that the first trial of leftist activists for “terrorism” since the Tarnac affair [1] will take place in October. The stakes are high. A sentence would legitimize the government’s repressive shift. It is the symbolic dividing line between what can and cannot be qualified as terrorism that the government is seeking to shift in this trial.

(Chile) Demo and Arson Attack at the PDI Barracks at the Christian Humanism Academy University

Demo and Arson Attack at the PDI Barracks at the Christian Humanism Academy University

August 23, 2023

The night of August 17, barricades were raised and molotovs were thrown at the Carabineros (COP). At least three of these molotovs were thrown at the front of the Human Rights Unit of the PDI (Investigations Police), steps from the UAHC. No one was detained and pamphlets were left declaring support for mapuche prisoners and claims for the 50 year anniversary of the coup.

$hilean state : Claim from Santiago August 23, 2023

Claim from Santiago
August 23, 2023

(Extracted from Red de Lucha y Propaganda)

To sabotage the absurd and oppressive daily life imposed on us by the capital system and reject the passive proposal of social democracy in the face of the needs of the oppressed class, today we position ourselves as self-convened anarchists, who believe in cooperativism, mutual aid, mutualism, armed insurrection and social war.

Through these ideas our thinking is created, seeking to create new networks and ways of relating to replace the hierarchical pyramids that have oppressed us throughout history.

These pyramids that have divided us have clear culprits, where in addition to the participation of businessmen and the $hilean state, we must not forget the political parties and pseudo-revolutionary organizations that have led the oppressed class to remain subjected to this system. P.C, P.S, P.P.D, R.D, C.S, among others. Also those who have historically contained the oppressed masses to rebel against this system, under the excuse of letting them govern in peace so that they can govern for the people, adding to their coalitions and nefarious militant youth. And organizations like the GAP, the SER, the CEP, the FAR, among others, have led us to the conformist blindness of a false illusion of struggle against those who oppress us, leading the forces of the people to a struggle of ego to see who is more revolutionary.

Castelldefels (Spain) – More street vendors, fewer cops

Castelldefels: More street vendors, fewer cops

More street vendors, fewer cops: attack on the Castelldefels Vigilance Service

On the night of August 20, the premises of the Vigilance Service in the Playafels district were attacked with spray paint and a hammer. This local has been built recently, for the purpose of helping the municipal police of Castelldefels [Note of Attaque: commune south of Barcelona] to do their favorite work, which consists of cracking down on street vendors in the area.

The Parti populaire in Castelldefels is following the same path as Collboni [Note of Attaque: the new socialist mayor of the regional capital] in Barcelona, with the Pla Endreça: increasing the number of cops, monitoring and limiting individual freedoms, to transform the city into a system of control where repression intensifies as it becomes more difficult to slip through the net.

Marmagne (Saône-et-Loire) eastern France: burning the fiber upstream

Marmagne: An “optical fiber” utility vehicle destroyed by fire

The commune of Marmagne is currently undergoing major work to bring in fiber optics. Several companies are working on the project. On Tuesday evening, shortly before 9pm, a fire broke out in a utility vehicle belonging to Iris Ingénierie of Saint-Marcel.

The vehicle was completely engulfed in flames when the Creusot fire department arrived. The fire was located at the edge of the departmental road 61, where the commercial vehicle was parked, at the exit of the village of Marmagne, in the direction of Les Vernizeaux.

Besançon (Doubs) France :For Anarchist Comrade Boris’s wheelchair is on its way!

Besançon (Doubs): Boris’s wheelchair is on its way!

At the beginning of July, we urgently re-launched our appeal for financial support for the purchase of a custom-made electric wheelchair for Boris. As a reminder, Boris is the anarchist comrade from Besançon who, during the first lockdown, destroyed two cell towers belonging to the cops and cell phone operators in the Jura region, before being incarcerated in Nancy and then seriously injured in a fire in the cell where he was locked up, leaving him a quadriplegic.

Boris has been back in the Besançon area for two months. He has left the hospital in Chalon-sur-Saône, where he was in an SSR (Follow up and Readaptation Care) unit, and is now living in a medicalized home adapted to his situation… where he will be able to receive the wheelchair at the end of September! What’s more, the fund-raising appeal was once again warmly received in many places, and nearly 11,000 additional euros were raised this summer. Noise Demo for Anarchist Toby Shone ( Bristol,UK )

Fireworks at HMP Bristol for Imprisoned Anarchist Toby Shone

Anarchists gathered at HMP Bristol on Friday 21 September at 8pm. As darkness fell, fireworks were launched over the prison to protest the rearrest of anarchist Toby Shone and to let him know he is never alone.

Toby was arrested by an armed police unit while he was driving to
Gloucester at 9am on Tuesday 19 September. The arrest was apparently ordered by Ashley Fussell from the National Security Division Wales and South West. The armed police unit is based at Bamfurlong, Gloucestershire, and was involved in Toby’s original arrest in November 2020.

South London , UK : We are presenting a two-part event, The Social War in the Territory Dominated by the Chilean State – And International Solidarity with anarchist and subversive prisoners, at the Touchpaper Anarchist Library.

POSTER ON PDF:
TEXT FROM THE POSTER:

an unrelenting struggle, an insurrectional dream.
Social war and repression of anarchists and subversives in the territory dominated by the Chilean state

“Continuing to take paths of rupture is therefore a small victory, showing that, even if the State shows us its worst face, it cannot bend us. We think that solidarity with those affected by repression must necessarily be transgressive and offensive, free from any pessimistic and victimist discourse. The use of all our creativity, limited only by our anarchist principles, is fundamental…”

Monica Caballero and Francisco Solar, 2017.

Chilean society is a modern democratic one. The industrial ravaging of indigenous land is conducted for the benefit of American, British and European corporations and is managed by endless ‘anti-terrorist’ operations. The administrators of society, from the bosses of production and mass-media to the scientists and the military; from the priests and politicians to the judges and police, have all undergone a costume-change since the years of fascist dictatorship.

Over this time the territory has been the subject of economic booms and collapses, times of social peace and democratic recuperation as well as some of the most intense social rebellions in recent times that have not been short of explosive examples throughout the world.
