On Sunday, May 5th, five incendiary devices were placed at the Northvolt construction site in Quebec. This action was taken to damage machinery and reduce the project’s ability to continue. Unfortunately, these devices failed to ignite. If there is one takeaway to share, when choosing materials consider how weather (high humidity or rain) might decrease the chances of a device igniting. The longer the timer, the longer the device will be exposed to environmental factors thereby decreasing the window of success.
Why choosing to attack and damage property? While Northvolt, a transnational corporation, sells themselves as the leader of the green transition, they are in fact its headstone. The electric vehicles the company plans to provide with their batteries are a false solution to the environmental destruction caused by industrial society; rather this expension of the automotive industry is only allowing the devastating impact of car infrastructure to continue. With this project, Canada’s insatiable appetite for natural resources will only grow. Lithium mining, which is essential in the process of producing Northvolt’s “green” Lithium Ion batteries, is poisoning human communities and entire ecosystems across the land. Lithium is already being extracted from unceded Indigenous territories here in “Quebec”, with many new mines planning to start operating in the next few years. With this kind of mega project, lakes, forests and wetlands will disappear under new roads and pit mines.

This request concerns not only this case but any case of treatment requiring transfer to a hospital for examination, surgery or treatment while I am in prison.

Several pieces of equipment were damaged in an early morning fire at a construction site next to a hospital in Fayette County and police suspect it is the work of arsonists.
Just after 4 a.m., Fayetteville police received calls reporting the fire.
When officers and Fayetteville Fire Department crews arrived at the construction site next to Piedmont Fayette Hospital, they saw several pieces of construction equipment were on fire.
The equipment belongs to Brasfield & Gorrie, one of the lead contractors for the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center.
They are also a donor to the Atlanta Police Foundation.

A69 freeway: several worksite machines set on fire last night in Saïx

A new incident occurred last night on the A69 construction site at the Dicosa in Saïx. Around midnight, half a dozen hooded individuals surrounded the security guard on site, “to prevent him from raising the alarm”, according to Atosca. “The agent was intimidated and insulted. He is very shocked”, explains the company.
He then saw around thirty hooded people appear and hide. The individuals then set fire to several NGE construction machines. A few minutes later, another security guard making his rounds sounded the alarm. As a result, 4 pieces of equipment were set on fire and taken out of service, and Atosca lodged a complaint. Incendiary devices had already been discovered on the site over the past three weeks, and security guards had been instructed not to provoke a confrontation in the event of such an intrusion.

As in recent years the Agro-Crust has been reduced to just one day/night of activities. We are all aware that the capabilities of the anarchist movement have decreased during this time in these territories quite a bit.
The impact of technocracy and the pandemic among others causes have caused many problems (climate, economic and social etc.). Capitalist states choose by wars and repression to save their rotten system. The consequences of all this are catastrophic, especially in the poor areas of the planet, but not exclusively. Droughts caused mainly by agriculture and industrial livestock, deforestation and destruction of ecosystems also has its impacts in the territories of the ‘first world’ states.
The strength of the struggles and resistance of every corner of the world planet depend on many factors that have to be tested locally to be effective in all the senses.
