In a time when people who were once “feminists” and/or defenders of “gender” quotas herald the fight against “organized crime” (designation for everything and nothing, directed – often – at migration), the minister of the interior CAROLINA TOHÁ, dressed in the colors of the chilean gendarmerie, very happy and surrounded by uniforms, praises the police “blow” and warns that they are being “strongly persecuted”… Who?: In the words of Tohá, “those who want to demonstrate points of views or critical postures in an emphatic manner in Chile”, will be “welcome”, but not those with “violent practices and methods”… Tohá makes this kind of “clarification” in order to make the raids ordered by her government in five neighborhoods of the metropolitan Region this Saturday July 6 appear as “an arsenal”. The guarantee judge declared – after the fact – that nine of the arrests were illegal, the supposed evidence is weak. The discourse of the government links those detained with the “placement of a bomb in an automobile in the metropolitan region in late 2023”, but after trying to assert that they had found “bombs ready for use in the future”, Tohá corrects: “we don’t know exactly”. Their objective appears to be to counteract “the agenda” as she calls it, of people to whom she attributes “connections in activities” to “influence in various spaces of society…” (Channel 24 live from Talagante 12:20 Saturday July 6, 2024).

For many activists, this will be a “first repressive action of Boric and his FA-PC-Agreement government”. Even if it were – we’re not aware of it being “the first” -, nothing about this is new in the postdictatorship of which Boric is a simple continuation (albeit with faces that were once youthful). It’s possible that there are those who imagine that with his “peace accord” (or pacification), the performative Constitutional Convention and an ex-student-leader president, the repressive stamp of the postdictatorship would change, but no.

Ten OMNY Machines Smashed by the Transit Liberation Front NY,USA

Recently, Black Revolutionaries in Atlanta sent out a call for a Summer of Resistance, a sustained, militant, and decentralized campaign targeting the multitude of appendages of the settler-colonial so-called United States, its Zionist client government, and their many accomplices in promoting a genocidal agenda in Palestine that is killing tens of thousands. In response, we turned our attention to the MTA and the touchless payment system, OMNY, that it is trying to shove down New Yorkers’ collective throat. These machines represent a world in which we must trade away our privacy for the right to move about our own city. The existence of OMNY and the city’s desire to phase out all other methods of payment is an obvious ploy to increase surveillance and further violate our communities by policing the main arteries of transit for everyday New Yorkers—as if the subways weren’t fucking crawling with police already.

We smashed ten of these machines in multiple subway stations across the city. We estimate that this is equivalent to about $40,000 in damage.

For years, this beautiful big German Shepherd dog had been chained to an iron block and was living in a small pen, covered in his own faeces and his food thrown on top of it. HOLES DRILLED IN MOUNTAIN VALLEY PIPELINE (USA)

Earlier this year a series of holes were drilled into the mountain valley pipeline. These attacks were strategically placed between mile markers 236 and 239. It is clear to us that those who built this black snake did not adequately fix these holes. As there is now gas flowing through this horrendous beast, we are forced to ask for help in holding them accountable. These entire sections of pipe need to be replaced. Be creative. Make sure they hear you.

For those interested, decorating a pipe with holes (before gas is in it), is quite easy. All it takes is a normal household drill, larger drill bits made for metal (can be found at any hardware store, the ones with a tooth on the tip work best), WD-40, lots of extra drill batteries, and the ability to push hard for 5-10 minutes per hole.

Entire villages were uprooted and swept away by the waters; arable lands, extremely fertile due to the river’s input and centuries of human labour on them, found themselves at the bottom of man-made lakes, along with the culture and history they housed.

Berlin (Germany): drilling machines set ablaze in solidarity

[In Canada, a struggle has been underway for several years on Wet’suwet’en territory against the Coastal GasLink pipeline project, being punctuated by numerous sabotages, occupations and incendiary attacks. During a raid in Calgary on the site of the company responsible for drilling under the Wedzin Kwa River, anarchists were able to make public in June 2022 the names of the two German manufacturers of the huge drilling machines used on site (Herrenkencht and Bauer). On August 3, 2022, Bauer construction machinery, including an expensive drilling rig, went up in smoke in the Bavarian region. And on the night of Sunday May 5 to Monday May 6, two more Bauer drilling machines were set alight on a construction site in the Wedding district of Berlin, in solidarity with the struggles of the Wet’suwet’en people, and more broadly against extractivist projects. In the territory occupied by the Canadian state, for example, a huge project is currently under construction: the Coastal GasLink Pipeline, designed to transport gas extracted by hydraulic fracking. This project not only destroys entire regions, but also threatens the Wet’suwet’en indigenous way of life. Fire at the Roubaix police station : 17 police vehicles affected

During the night, at around 2.20am, there was a fire in the parking area of the central police station of Roubaix. It was police officers returning from an intervention to have noticed significant smoke at the garage. The firefighters quickly intervened on site to prevent the fire from spreading to the police station building. A dozen police vehicles were completely burnt out in the fire, seven others also caught fire. The flames, intense, even reached some of the staff’s personal cars parked above in the outdoor carpark.

According to Benoit Aristidou, departmental secretary of Adjoint Unité SGP Police for the north, the fire could have been accidental according to the first elements: « According to the fire department, the fire started at the back of the garage, at the level of the room where all the confiscations are stored. In this room, there are in particular electric scooters seized, the fire could possibly have come from a scooter’s electric battery. »

Why aiming at this beast?

This is a call to action against the North Bothnia Line, a railway just beginning to be built along the coast of Swedish-occupied Sápmi. This project is a continuation of several hundred years of brutal colonization of the peoples and lands in Sápmi. Extractive industries are thriving on the increased demand for raw materials following the so-called “green transition”. This makes them continually stress the importance and urgency of the train line. So do the Swedish State and the European Union.

The track will be used for both passenger and freight trains. But the true reasons behind the project becomes quite obvious when reading the list of financiers, and also by reading the North Bothnia Line Group’s project leader Elisabeth Sinclair’s statement that “[a]lthough the passenger traffic between the coastal cities is important, it is the goods that are the basis of the North Bothnia Line”.

At the council chamber, which ‘in theory’ does not provide for the participation of outsiders in addition to the judge, court employees, the public prosecutor and the investigated persons, several members of the ROS (Raggruppamento Operativo Speciale, ‘Special Operational Grouping’) of Carabinieri and police units showed up instead. We reiterate the rightness of the reasons of that demonstration and the sacrosanct anger it expressed.

On 22/4/24 the anarchist comrade Andreas F. is kidnapped by the State security and anti-terrorist forces, armed cops invade his house in the city of Patras for a second time for investigation.

From petty supermarket theft… to  ”terrorist organization” in the second act of the police terrorist cell of the E.L.A.S. [Greek police headquarters] the comrade is transferred to Athens, interrogated and, according to the anti-terrorism law (187A), accused of being a member of “ conspiracy of revenge” and the natural instigator of its action. Finally, on 26/4, the investigator and the prosecutor decide to keep him in custody in the prison of Amfissa.

In the face of the fear that tries to spread through vindictiveness in the face of Andreas, but also in the face of his comrades, our response has always been and will always be the same: non-negotiable support for his political stance and his anarchist identity, solidarity in this difficult struggle that begins, this time from within the walls of the prison. The second issue of the insurrectionary / nihilist anarchist newspaper”Blessed Is The Flame”, originally published in 8 July 2024 in Greek, has now been translated in English. By doing so, we hold the ambition that this newspaper can become an international effort, bringing together all the direct action reports, statements and texts of comrades, and news about the struggles of anarchist prisoners that are scattered across the world, divided by language and communication barriers.

We make a call to any willing comrades around the world to assist us in translating the newspaper in other languages as well and diseminate it both digitally and physically; the document was designed to be easily printable as a A5-size booklet. Ideally, we would like to suggest an international collaboration between counter-information projects from all corners of the world, defying the recent repression efforts of various states who want to put an end to the diffusion of the ideas and practices of the anarchy of action.

Firefighters responded to several fires on the night of Wednesday June 12 to Thursday June 13 in the Grenoble metropolitan area. In La Tronche, but also near the Grand’Place shopping center in Grenoble, where several stores were without power. Enedis set up temporary generators at 8 a.m. to supply power to the nearby funeral home. These generators will provide power to the affected households until the work is completed. The work could last several days and cost several tens of thousands of euros.

On that day the indictment concerning the 13 comrades accused of resisting a public official and of carrying weapons or objects likely to offend, with numerous aggravating circumstances, will be requested. We recall that at the time of the events the anarchist prisoner Alfredo Cospito had been on hunger strike for 101 days against 41 bis and a life sentence without appeal. That Saturday afternoon a demonstration in solidarity was called in piazza Trilussa, in Rome, which the police forces decided to surround and provoke. However that evening the plans did not go as foreseen in the offices of the police, with a part of the demonstrators remaining outside the encirclement and the police forces ending up in the grip of those whom they wanted to provoke.

Around 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday night, April 4, Munich firefighters were alerted to a major blaze in the Meillerweg district, just a few hundred meters from the Maximilianeum, the historic seat of the Bavarian State Parliament. On the scene, they discovered four pieces of construction equipment being consumed by flames: a backhoe, two wheel loaders and a Unimog (a small Mercedes all-terrain utility truck).

Except that this is not just any old place, because in addition to being a stone’s throw from the Palace of the Rulers of the Kingdom of Bavaria, it’s also the construction site for the second main line of the capital’s S-Bahn subway system. To be more precise, it involved relocating a district heating pipe to build a relief shaft from the railway tunnel. The four machines, located far apart, were completely destroyed, with damage running into six figures. The Bavarian Central Office for Combating Extremism and Terrorism (ZET) and the “Raute” investigation group were on the scene with sniffer dogs and forensic police.

Fortunately for them, the minions of law and order have a serious lead, as revealed by a major regional newspaper a few weeks later (Süddeutsche Zeitung, May 10): it’s probably ghosts, perhaps escaped from Ludwig II’s famous castle at Neuschwanstein (but on this last point, the cops are less formal).Let’s be the judge, since with this latest sabotage against the subway construction site, investigators are now attributing some 30 destructive attacks to Munich’s ghosts, causing at least 20 million euros worth of damage: “They set fire to power lines and construction equipment, telecoms antennas and electric vehicles; railroads are also the target of their attacks, as are geothermal pipelines. The identity of the perpetrators and their origins remain a mystery. Like ghosts, they leave no exploitable trace and no statement claiming the action. Who has an interest in attacking the critical infrastructure of Greater Munich? This is the question security services have been asking themselves since the series of attacks began at least three years ago.The damage caused so far is approaching the €20 million mark.”
