”Operation Sibilla”, Italy : All custodial measures annulled

Today the news broke that all custodial measures for the repressive operation Sibilla of 11th November, directed in particular against the anarchist paper Vetriolo, were annulled by the court of review held on 14th December. Therefore there are no more signing and residence obligations for three comrades, or house arrest for Michele Fabiani and pre-trial detention for Alfredo Cospito, who remains imprisoned following a 20-year sentence in the Scripta Manent trial.
The reasons for the decision will be made known within 45 days. Without going into the matter of court waste paper, it seems that the wording “annulment” represents the highest possible denial of the accusatory hypothesises on a technical level. In any case, regardless of the judges’ verdict, we continue to firmly persevere with revolutionary anarchist propaganda, solidarity with our imprisoned comrades and the defence of anarchist publications. The repression doesn’t surprise us: we knew that the recent sentencing against the latest edition of “Croce Nera Anarchica” in the Scripta Manent appeal trial would create an infamous precedent.

Spain : Prison of Brians I: updates on the anarchist comrades arrested on 27th February

Some people decide to stay inside
Alberto Frisetti – Albo to his friends – refuses to get out of jail on bail, or rather by paying a ransom of 45,000 euros to the Spanish State, in line with the common declaration made by the 27th February Prisoners following Jeanne’s release: “Either all or none”. Albo refuses this compromise despite the generosity of his father who would have paid the disproportionate amount of ransom.
The frame-up against them accusing them of attempted murder has collapsed, but the judge who has been holding them in jail for 9 months and who for a long time had concealed a fire brigade report exonerating them from the serious charge, contrived this latest obscenity of exorbitant ransom, a blatant attack on the Presos del 27F beyond any criminal charge, thus revealing the true highly political face of this trial: laws are only bludgeons to strike the enemy.

Marseille, France: A few revengeful blows against RTM

In the night between 6th and 7th December, the building of RTM [Régie des transports métropolitains, the public transport agency of Marseille and surroundings] on boulevard Clemenceau had its windows smashed and a message was written on the floor outside the entrance door: “RTM murderers”.
This was a minimal gesture of revenge following the murder of Saïd M’Hadi* at the end of September, killed by RTM ticket inspectors; these are the same inspectors who take part in police raids in their daily operations.
* Note of the Italian translator: Said died suffocated on 22nd September at an underground station in Marseille. RTM officers pinned him to the ground after a ticket control he allegedly reacted against in a “virulent” manner, according to inspectors (Said had learning disabilities).

(SPAIN)MARCHA AL CIE DE ALUCHE 30 DE DICIEMBRE EUGENIA DE MONTIJO ES/EN

pdf : PANFLETOMARCHACIE IN ENGLISH
AGAINST THE CIES, THE NATIONS, THE BORDERS AND THE SYSTEM THAT PERPETUATES THEM
On May 17, 2021, a geopolitical conflict between the Spanish and Moroccan states led to the opening of borders in Morocco, with the consequent crossing of people under inhumane conditions on the border beaches between the two countries. In response, the Spanish State increased its military presence in Ceuta, carrying out hot returns and other humiliating treatment, reducing people to mere merchandise. On August 30 of this year, due to military and economic interests, an unsustainable situation has been generated in Afghanistan forcing people to leave the country.
These are clear examples of the role of democracy and capitalism in the management of our lives, through the development of infrastructures, control of population flows, treaties, laws and borders. All this generates an important business that seeks to control the oppressed populations and use them for their miserable self-dealing and political games.

I didn’t know I was Harry Houdini
26/11/2021
Today I was taken from the cells of G-wing, Bristol prison to the City Hospital under a security escort. This was to detect any reoccurrence of cancer in my abdomen and pelvis. In the reception area of the prison, I had the usual strip search, and I was forced to change out of my own clothes into prison-issue clothes.
This offended my dignity as even when I was being held in Wandsworth prison in London under “antiterrorist” conditions I could at least go to the hospital in my own clothes. Whilst I was waiting for the screws to finish the paperwork, I got a glance of my cover sheet at my file – “escape list” marked in red. I was shackled to a screw with an escort and another two and I was driven by four screws in an unmarked van to the radiology unit. Along the way and back, of course, I was a witness to the pathetic, belittling ,racist, misogynistic “chats” of the screws who consider themselves experts of all aspects of life. At the radiology unit there were discussions between the medical staff and screws with some referral to their superiors, as, without any foresight on the screws part, they hadn’t realised that I couldn’t be shackled inside the MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) machine. Despite the MIR machine being within a sealed room with a single door, I was forced to wear a pair of plastic zip tight cuffs which were tightened so tight they cut into my wrists.

International Campaign for Revolutionary Anarchism and Solidarity with Revolutionary Prisoners
With the capitalist destruction of earth and life continuing unhindered and the nearing prospects of an ecological collapse, there is, perhaps more than ever, a serious and immediate need for global revolutionary movements. Where do our movements here in Europe stand faced with the immense challenges and demands of our epoch? Can we retrace our revolutionary roots? Can we become the creative force that can effectively abolish the cannibalistic authority of the rich few over the many?
Outside of Europe, the revolutionary spirit has reaffirmed its historical strength with armed and organized insurrections in Chiapas and the Middle East paving the way for the liberation of life through the self-organization of the people on the bottom, on terms of equality and communitarianism. But also all around the world in recent decades we see that combative resistance and insurrections are breaking out as a result of the increasing violence and totalitarianism of capitalism.
Let’s draw our inspiration from the Black resistance movement in the U.S. and the uprising in Chile. These were popular people-led movements using militant and insurrectionist strategies to directly confront the oppressors and their armed thugs (the police). Daily images of barricades, burning banks and attacks against cops flooding global news are the reminder that the world of those in power is easily set ablaze when the rage of the oppressed finds a collective expression.

Athens,Greece: International Solidarity Call for Community of Squatted Prosfygika [ENG,FR, GER, SPA, IT, TUR]

CALL FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE DEFENSE OF THE COMMUNITY OF SQUATTED PROSFYGIKA ON ALEXANDRAS AVENUE IN ATHENS, GREECE
Hello comrades,
We address this call to collectives and individuals from all around the world to join the combative defense of PROSFYGIKA against the imminent repression. The attempted evacuation of our neighborhood must be turned into a central event of resistance and a victory against political power and the gentrification of our neighborhoods in the metropolis.
WHAT WE INVITE YOU TO DEFEND
The building complex of Prosfygika was built in 1933 for the refugees coming from Asia minor. In the conditions of the time, a vibrant working class neighbourhood with communal characteristics emerged. Today,it is one of the biggest building complexes in the center of Athens, which is still not gentrified and exploited by big investors or the state. It is a place of strategic significance, since it is located between the two ‘pillars’ of authority – the Supreme Court on one hand and the Police Headquarters on the other.

Solidarity text by Rigaer94, 34 years are not enough! Solidarity with Biologica squat in Thessaloniki

Biologica squat has been a political and cultural reference central point for the city of Thessaloniki for 34 years. It has been the ground for many political and cultural assemblies, public events and workshops while supporting the DIY culture in every possible way. Through the years it has a space in the university campus that constantly shouts against discrimination, exploitation and every type of authority. It has hosted many open assemblies, collectives and has been one of the places in the city where people of the anarchist, LGBTQ, punk and student scene come together against anti-commercialism, gentrification and organise against the capitalist way of life that the city of the rich imposes on our lives. At the moment, Biologica squat is the home of the collective “Biologica”, a group of people supporting the DIY scene in anti-commercial terms, the Solidarity Fund for the support of persecuted prisoners and Terra Incognita, an anarchist collective supporting the struggle with all means. In the earlier years of Biologica, other collectives were also active while other groups supported the space by organising public events.
With continuous political interventions in the university campus, the Biologica squat and other groups and individuals who are in solidarity with it, create grounds where manifestations, banner-drops, stickers, and other means strike against the university’s sterilized ideas and manage to bring into the offensive anti-sexist, anti-speciesism, anti-commercial and anti-authoritarian ideas.

Grenoble, France: Support to the defendants of 8/12: the Palais de Justice is decorated

via: attaque Indymedia Lille / Wednesday 8 December 2021

On December 8, 2021, a year has passed since cops raided several places in France (Toulouse, Rennes, Ile de France, Dordogne) to take 9 comrades, in the name of anti-terrorism. They took them to the offices of the DGSI in Levallois-Perret in order to interrogate them before incarcerating some and placing others under judicial control (and leaving 2 under witness status).
It seems that this repression on the part of the State and the cops is a response to the accusation that they hate the State and the cops. In the midst of the social movement against the Global Security Law, as usual, the media have been able to brandish the headline of an anti terrorist affair in the “extreme left” and have given themselves a great deal of pleasure in magnifying this affair by repeating the police’s accounts. […]

Report-back from a Rail Blockade in Saint-Lambert (Montreal,Canada)

Anonymous submission to MTL Counter-info
On Saturday, more than sixty people acting in solidarity with Wet’suwet’en land defenders blocked the CN main line in Saint-Lambert south of Montreal for over six hours. It was the longest rail blockade in Quebec since the winter of 2020, interrupting Via Rail service and immobilizing six freight trains. These notes reflect the experience of a couple participants in Saturday’s blockade.
Nostalgia mixed with anticipation as we arrived at the tracks where they cross rue Saint-Georges, with banners ready to hang across the rail crossing and no police in sight. It was a bright morning, temperatures just below freezing and the ground snowless, a contrast with that first night in February 2020, when temperatures sunk to 25 below and snow could be piled into mounds atop the rails.

Glorious Rage: Rail Sabotage in Solidarity with the Wet’suwet’en (Canada)

There is nothing left unsaid. RCMP Out.
CGL off the Yintah.
Defend the Wedzin Kwa.
This is an act of genocide. An active genocide.
An armed invasion by the colonial state.
There is nothing left to say: they do not listen to words.
So just do; that is what we have done.
One recent evening, allies/accomplices went out into the night to pick up where others may have left off in the spring of 2020: targeting rail infrastructure.
Using various methods (detailed below for your reference, education and delight!) we disrupted rail all over so-called southern Ontario throughout the night, hitting nearly a dozen different spots on both CN and CP rail lines. We did this in heartfelt solidarity with the Wet’suwet’en defending their Yintah from destruction, and fuelled our actions with the justified rage we feel towards the RCMP and state for once against invading their territory on behalf of a private corporation.
Rail was a harbinger of colonized settlements and the genocide of Indigenous peoples across so-called Canada, and also an indefensible way to target the kkkanadian economy, so we find it an ideal target as people unable to be standing shoulder to shoulder with the Wet’suwet’en land defenders.
While some crews opted for the copper wire method, others found inspiration in other means of targeting railway circuits – including severing low voltage track circuits and the arson of railway signal bungalows.

Toulouse,France: It’s not covid, but capitalism that’s killing us

via: attaque
Indymedia Lille / Saturday, December 4, 2021
On the night of December 3 to 4, we toasted the health of the Guadeloupean rioters with hammers against the windows of an Adecco Medical temp agency on Avenue de Bretagne in Toulouse.
This December 4th, the care workers are taking to the streets again against the chain of closures of many hospital services throughout France, due to the lack of personnel who are increasingly deserting. The temp agency is this privatized valve to compensate for the chronic daily lack of caregivers in the services. We remind you that these agencies earn a lot of money by being one of the cogs in the bankruptcy of the health care system.
