Hello comrades,
The most important issue of the trial scheduled for February 9 is the release of comrade Vangelis Stathopoulos, against whom social solidarity on the front line of the revolutionary struggle is being brutally attacked. I, defending the revolutionary struggle, the guerrilla and widespread armed social resistance, have long been committed to the cause of social solidarity, freedom and equality. Today I stand in a position of political counter-attack against counter-revolutionary terrorism, based on the current political agendas and the movement strategy of the Organisation for Revolutionary Self-Defence, for direct all-embracing confederal social self-management.

Mailbox of Fraternity Germania in flames
Kassel, January 2, 2022
Unknown individuals have set fire to the mailbox on New Year’s Eve at the house used by the fraternity Germania in Wolfsangerstraße. A resident had alerted the fire department at around 9:25 p.m. because of the burning mailbox, police spokeswoman Ulrike Schaake reports.
Despite the quickly initiated extinguishing work, the mailbox was completely destroyed. In addition, the facade was affected by soot. The damage is estimated at 1000 euro.

Paint bags against DPolG office Stuttgart, December 31, 2021

via: chronik.blackblogs
Tonight we marked the facade of the German Police Union (DPolG) in Stuttgart with some paint. The DPolG is a right-wing police lobby. It actively defends cops and demands more special rights for them. Besides it agitates again and again against leftists and trivializes right-wing violence.
And so it is, among others, an actor of the repressive apparatus.

England: antennas continue to burn

Gateshead (England), January 14, 2022
In Gateshead, a town of 90,000 inhabitants located in the North East England region, a 5G cell phone antenna was sabotaged on Friday, January 14, around 9:30 pm. Several teams of firefighters were sent to the site in the Leam Lane area, but were unable to save it and prevent the flames from cutting off communications to the entire area. The cops immediately referred to “an act of malice” and opened an investigation.
In Bradford, a city of 500,000 inhabitants located in West Yorkshire, a 5G phone antenna was deliberately set on fire on December 24 at dusk around 7:50 pm. The fire was set in Southfield Lane at the level

of the electrical boxes located at the foot of the mast, before climbing up to its top. In order not to set too bad an example and to prevent it from collapsing, it was urgently dismantled the next day.

Responsibility actions by Anarchists in solidarity with anarchist comrade Charis Mantzouridis (Athens,Greece)

Comrade Haris Mantzouridis has been a prisoner of the State and its mechanisms for 4 months. On 13 October, uniformed masked men of the ELAS  kidnapped him from his house in front of his family and took him to the GADA (police HQ). There he is accused of involvement in a robbery of a safe deposit box in Zografou in 2018 with the only evidence being an “orphan” DNA sample found in adjacent premises after the suggestion that an “anonymous citizen” seems to have made to the cops.
The use of DNA as evidence of guilt while scientifically perverse and false is used extensively by the State and its repressive mechanisms for the hostage-taking and entrapment of militants. At the same time, the existence of an “anonymous phone call” clearly shows the orchestrated effort of the State mechanism to frame the comrade.

Editorial
Solidaridad anticarcelaria y conflicto antiestatal permanente

GERMAN SHEPHERD RESCUED FROM APPALLING CONDITIONS AT A BIRMINGHAM PUB (UK)

https://ufile.io/cb0gy10s video
Animal Liberation Front unit “Las Zorritas” claims responsibilty for the rescue of a female German Shepherd on 19 January from the yard of the Greenwood pub in Chelmsley Wood, Birmingham, where she was being kept in appalling conditions as a “guard dog”.
Three activists kept watch while a fourth carried out the rescue.
The dog, whom we have now learned was called “Mia”, has been given a health check and spayed by a sympathetic vet, and is safe and happy in a loving home.

Breaking the fear in Vironas, Pagrati, Kaisariani area’s of Athens (Greece)

The “Breaking the Fear” assembly was created in response to a rape incident in Byron, following a call to collectives. An open assembly was formed that includes collectives and individuals who want to collectively respond to these logics and actions but also to support the complainants, to highlight the incidents in the local community and beyond, and to isolate the rapists and their apologists socially and morally.
To achieve these goals, the assembly organized moto demos, spray painting, poster making and interventions in the neighbourhoods and places of work and residence of rapists and apologists, with the aim of stigmatizing and socially excluding them (video). We also put out informative text, posters (see https://athens.indymedia.org/post/1616566/) and stickers that are stuck up and distributed on a regular basis, highlighting the issue in the neighbourhood.

Solidarity with anarchist comrades V. Stathopoulos and D. Hatzivassiliadis (Greece)

via: athens.indymedia
On 8/11/2020 anti-terrorist cops arrest the anarchist militant V. Stathopoulos, implicating him, through an anonymous phone call, in the armed robbery of the ΟΠΑΠ store in Cholargos (expropriation of a local state casino store in athens).
In this robbery, the comrade D. Hatzivassiliadis was injured, and sought and received medical assistance from V. Stathopoulos.
Without wasting a moment, the anti-terrorist police dubbed the robbery a “terrorist” action of the “Revolutionary Self-Defence” organization and drew up a heavy indictment against V. Stathopoulos, whom they presented as a member of the organization, even though the comrade was imprisoned during most of the action of this organization. From the very first moment, he denies his involvement in both the robbery and the organisation in question, and insists that his only involvement in the case was in trying to provide first aid to the injured comrade D. Hatzivassiliadis.

Athens koridallos prison, Greece : Comrade Charis Mantzouridis is again in solitary confinement from last Monday 24/1/22

via: https://athens.indymedia.org/post/1616671/
Comrade Charis Mantzouridis has been in quarantine again since noon last Monday, on the pretext that he came into contact with a confirmed case in the ward of the Korydallos psychiatric prison.
The comrade had been found positive on 30 December and theoretically should have been issued a certificate of illness. The management of the Korydallos Prisoners’ Psychiatric Hospital, having medical records proving both his preventive isolation on his admission to the prison and his illness (positive tests carried out by a doctor, etc.), proceeded to isolate him without even carrying out a medical examination.

UK: About the total surveillance order facing anarchist comrade Toby Shone. EN/ IT/FR/ES/PL

Even though the cops couldn’t prove their terrorism case against him after a four year investigation, anarchist prisoner Toby Shone is facing a Serious Crime Prevention Order that will legally sanction the criminalisation and total surveillance of him and everyone around him for years to come after his release.
In November 2020, a series of co-ordinated raids against one of the alleged administrators of the website 325.nostate.net was executed by counter-terrorism cops in the UK as part of “Operation Adream”. Several properties in the southwest of England were searched and one person, Toby Shone, was arrested at gunpoint in the Forest of Dean and charged under the Terrorism Act. This was the first time the British State attempted to prosecute an anarchist under modern terrorism legislation and the first time that somebody was prosecuted for being suspected of running an anarchist website.
Toby was originally charged with providing a service enabling others to access terrorist publications, with fundraising for terrorist purposes, and with two counts of possession of information likely to be useful to a terrorist. He pleaded not guilty, the cops weren’t able to produce any evidence, and the prosecution was forced to drop these charges on October 1st 2021. In the end, Toby Shone was sentenced to 3 years 9 months in prison for 8 drug offenses on October 13, 2021. The ‘drugs’ were psychedelics and medicinal plants found at two of the four properties raided in November 2020, all collective spaces. He served 8 months of this sentence on remand at HMP Wandsworth and is currently held in HMP Bristol. He is due for release sometime between August and December 2022.

Claviere, Italy – Demonstration for Fathallah on 16th January

On Sunday 16th January we gathered in Claviere. We took the public space to finally give voice to Fathallah’s story, this border killed him. Fathallah, a 31-year old Moroccan arrived in France from Italy between 29th December and 1st January and was found dead on 2nd January in the basin of Freney, downstream of Modane. The eighth person we know to have died on this damned border in 3 years.
At 10am a solidarity stand was set up opposite the church of Claviere on the other side of the road, amidst of the comings and goings of tourists and skiers. When the 11 o’clock bus arrived a good number of people passing by joined us. After a few speeches, we walked towards the border. The invisible border between Italy and France covered by the motorway 94 of Monginevro was blocked for two hours. Several speeches were made by people who had known Fathallah, about the current situation in the detention centres, the NO TAV struggle, Emilio’s arrest and updates from Tripoli. Police deployment was massive, as always, from both the Italian and French side. We counted at least 20 vans on either side of the border, with annexed guards, digos, investigation police and some journalists next to them.

Amsterdam: Some reflections on the eviction of Waldeck Pyrmontlaan 8

Last Sunday we were evicted from our home after having been there for 5 days. Here are some reflections on what happened. We had a small taste of what could have been when we made Waldeck Pyrmontlaan 8 in Amsterdam our home. Even though the last few days have been hard on us, there were many moments filled with joy and hope. The support and acts of solidarity we received from old and new friends, comrades and neighbours have deeply touched us. After 5 days of occupation and what we thought was a successful public revealing of the squat, we were quickly reminded of what should’ve been so obvious to us; that there is no safety for people like us living under the state and it’s capitalist system. All evictions are a form of violence and Sunday was no exception. We have yet to hear all the stories and experiences surrounding the eviction, and we are only representing our own experiences here.
Who we are
We are people with political convictions, with a longing for freedom. Our struggle and our wounds are written and felt in our bodies. We are individuals with hopes and dreams, worries and problems. We squat for many reasons, both political and personal. Out of necessity, because we need housing, but also because in these acts of collective resistance, we create the space to feel free and find each other. Most of us are students at different universities, MBO’s or highschool in Amsterdam and around. Others with us are not in university at all- but would have liked to be- if it wasn’t for the prospect of crippling debt and the financial pressure to go straight into work. Like that of many people, our lives have been defined and shaped by precarity. Our housing situation is precarious. Some of us sleep on couches, in shelters, hostels or squats. Others have rental contracts ( mostly temporary- almost all overpriced). Student life is often described as the time of your life- But it is hard to be alive when you are struggling to survive.
