Berlin, Germany : A car of the Stölting company set on fire

Solidarity with Maja and all prisoners – A car of the Stölting company set on fire

During the night of 12 to 13 June, a car belonging to the Stölting company went up in flames.

The Stölting group is a services company and presents itself, among other things, as an external alternative for management, food, medical treatment, care and support for jails; it is proposing taking over certain areas, or even the management of prison establishments as a whole.

In the past, the Stölting group has also been associated with anti-union practices – workers found themselves offered money to leave the union.

With all the different roles they play in prison, they are supporting a system based on the punishment of persons who do not integrate into the logic of capitalist exploitation, and try to break them through isolation.

Prisons are one of the many repressive tools of the State to prevent actions of resistance and intimidate people who use counter-violence against them.

Italy: Updates May 2025 about Alfredo Cospito

We receive and spread with rage. Maximum solidarity to Alfredo:

Hi everyone: the updates that are reaching us about the comrade Alfredo Cospito’s situation convey a clear worsening of the already aberrant conditions of imprisonment under 41-bis.

Over a few months Alfredo has been facing a progressive limitation in the already demanding possibilities of surviving under the prison regime that he has been assigned to since 2022, among which an almost total block on correspondence to and from outside, impossibility of access to the prison library (an authorisation that Alfredo received from the prison management), a block on books regularly acquired in a bookshop through the prison (according to the 41-bis regime) and other goods, such as flour or clothing, for daily use.

Schwelm, Germany : Free Maja! Deutsche Bank has lost its windows!

Published 26 June 2025 by Attaque

from.indymedia.org / Monday 23 June 2025

« I have great respect for the solidarity and support that is reaching me from all over. That gives me the strength to continue to fight, with you, not only for better conditions of imprisonment in Hungary and elsewhere, but also for the freedom of all the political prisoners. Let’s not think of rest, today, and celebrate the queer fêtes, in solidarity and actively.» (from Maja’s letter to her comrades in struggle, June 20th 2025)

The situation is serious. We need to act.

In solidarity with Maja, who has been on hunger strike for more than 18 days, during the night of June 22nd, during the days of antifascist actions, we left the words « FREE MAJA » on the facade of the Deutsche Bank agency in Märkischen Platz, Schwelm [town in north-west Germany near Wuppertal; Translator’s note], we reworked its showcases with stones and left some beautiful holes in the windows.

Watch out for Altametris drones! (France)

“An extra eye on the network”: how SNCF is using drones to monitor its railway tracks

Le Figaro, May 3, 2025

The rendezvous is at 11pm in the middle of nowhere, in an undisclosed location. There, on the eve of major departures for the long weekend, the SNCF is organizing a rather special surveillance operation, using a drone at the intersection of several high-speed railway lines. High-quality equipment resembling a small plane, capable of flying more than 100 meters above the ground and more than ten kilometers away from its pilot, making it invisible to even the sharpest eyes. Equipped with a thermal sensor and able to see “as in daylight” despite the advanced darkness, it can spot the slightest intruder as well as confirm that the catenaries and other technical installations are in a good condition. “The advantage of the drone is that it can monitor a large area in a very short time, and possibly detect anything abnormal,” explains SNCF Réseau’s Executive Vice President Projects, Maintenance and Operations Olivier Bancel.

The aim of this operation? To prevent the slightest risk in these tense times, but above all to communicate the SNCF’s ability to take advantage of new technologies to protect its 28,000 kilometers of track. As we watch, the exercise begins shortly before midnight, and the drone takes off. A few meters away, the aircraft spots an unmarked car in the vicinity of an SNCF critical juncture that, on the face of it, has no business being there. On the ground, the telepilot indicated this disturbing presence to the rail safety authorities, who immediately took over and sent a team to check it out. Five minutes later, the verdict was in: “all’s well”. “That’s the end of the exercise for us,” says railway safety officer Sébastien Conseil, team leader for the evening. Although this was just a practical exercise, the SNCF assures us that it carries out “doubt verification almost every time a drone is deployed”.

Thessaloniki, Greece: Intervention in two McDonald’s stores because of the company’s cooperation with Israel

Yesterday, Friday 6/6, we carried out interventions in two McDonald’s stores, in the Slaughterhouses area and in Finikas.

McDonald’s is a multinational company that chooses to have stores in areas of Israel that maintains an apartheid regime for the few Palestinians who live in them as second-class citizens, and is carrying out long-term genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza and massacres in the occupied West Bank. In the past, and specifically in 2024, McDonald’s distributed free meals to the genocidal Israeli army (IDF), a political choice that they were forced to stop following international social pressure. The pressures we are trying to exert aim to increase opposition to the genocide in order to end it and ensure the victory of the Palestinians.

The text of the intervention give out follows:

In Solidarity to the struggle in the detention centre kloten. (Zurich, Switzerland)

In Solidarity to the struggle in the detention centre kloten.

Until every cage burns.

Statement from a solidarity assembly about events inside the Detention Center ZAA Kloten.

Within a month, two prisoners died in the Zurich extermination prison, followed by suicide attempts, fires and an 8-day hunger strike of 50 prisoners. The prisoners made demands, but their resistance has been ignored and individuals placed in isolation. Switzerland continues to promote proudly it’s detention and deportation policy. But as long as people are jailed for 18 months just because they’re “illegal,” resistance will continue to grow.We stand in solidarity with the resistance of the prisoners and fight on their side against the lethal extermination machinery.

For the abolition of the 18-month imprisonment!

For the abolition of the inhuman isolation cells in the prison!

For an immediate stop to all forced exploitation!

Athens,Greece: Victory for Maja T’s hunger strike by Marianna Manoura, Dimitra Z. (koridallos women prison)

Victory for Maja T’s hunger strike
by Marianna Manoura, Dimitra Z.

Responding to the call of the anti-fascist days of action (June 20-22), of the anti-fascist Maja T. who has been on hunger strike since June 5 in Hungarian prisons, we send our own signal of solidarity to their struggle. Two years ago, during the day of honour (anniversary of the mass extermination of Hungarians and German Nazis in 1945), a fascist rally-march took place in Budapest, where hundreds of neo-Nazis and fascists gathered. In response to this call, anti-fascists from Europe decided to return a part of the violence they produce to them.

The far-right Hungarian government began a series of arrests, openly supporting the fascists, with an inflated indictment of criminal organizations and inhumane conditions of confinement. Other European states cooperated, engaging in a series of deportations and persecutions. Germany played a leading role in characterizing the German anti-fascists persecuted by the Hungarian state as dangerous criminals, culminating in the overnight extradition of Maja T. Many of the individuals involved chose to go underground, refusing to surrender their freedom to either the German or Hungarian state. Maja T. was one of these people, until their arrest and extradition. Continue reading Athens,Greece: Victory for Maja T’s hunger strike by Marianna Manoura, Dimitra Z. (koridallos women prison)

Athens, Greece: Claim of responsibility for attacks on real estate agencies, Airbnb and My Flat buildings by Anarchists

Claim of responsibility for attacks on real estate agencies, Airbnb and My Flat buildings

In a world where all goods, material and non-material, are slowly being commodified in the most brutal and cynical way, it was only a matter of time before we saw a coordinated effort by the State and capital to transform our basic needs into class privileges.

Alongside the privatisation of electricity and water supplies, we are witnessing the invasion of large real estate investors in the centre of Athens, who are trading properties at an uncontrolled pace and these are basically included in short-term rental platforms. This has resulted in thousands of people being displaced from their homes either due to inability to cope with rent increases, or through evictions, or forced relocations as the owner chooses selling or Airbnb.

In short, in an attempt to squeeze every possible perspective of profit out of our neighbourhoods, houses are being converted into tourist accommodation and of course the local city is being reshaped to adapt to the new needs of the neighbourhood… Hipster shops of all kinds are springing up all around to sell the neighbourhood lifestyle to eager consumers while we see our squares and parks being choked with their shops and tables.

Again, some banks attacked for Maja – Let’s not stop! In the night of June 15th, we attacked branches of Sparkasse and Deutsche Volksbank in Könneritzstraße, in the west of Leipzig.

Broken windows and the slogan « Free Maja » written on them are our contribution to the campaign of militant support to Maja’s hunger strike. We are referring here to the call launched by some comrades https://de.indymedia.org/node/516268 [ here in French ; NdAtt.] and are very happy that such a large number of people have already joined this campaign, in Leipzig, Berlin, Wuppertal and Hamburg. We are inviting all those who want to show their solidarity with Maja to do the same!

Munich (Germany): Update on the imprisonment of the two comrades.

Update on the two imprisoned anarchists N & M – – “Hetzblatt gegen den Windpark” – – investigation and upcoming trial against the paper Zündlumpen under Section 129.

(published in de.indymedia, 10 June 2025) translated from the French via:  Sans nom to English by Act for freedom now!

Since 26th February, our two comrades N & M have been held on remand, accused of publishing the anarchist paper Zündlumpen (“criminal association / conspiracy”). This criminal case, which we have known about since 2022, was brought against the two of them and another person, under Section 129 (relating to organised crime and terrorism). In 2025, two other cases came to light, also implicating N and M: they are both charged with spreading the publication “Hetzblatt gegen den Windpark” [“Smear Sheet / Scandal Rag Against the Wind Farm”] alongside three other people (“incitement/promotion of criminal acts”). Secondly, they are both “suspects” for willful arson.

Jonquières (Oise): severing the arteries of data (France)

In the south-east of Oise, more than 10,000 households without internet after an act of vandalism
Courrier Picard/France3, May 23, 2025

During the night of May 22 to 23, a major service outage affected the south-east of the Oise region, depriving more than 10,000 homes and businesses of internet, fixed telephony and television, and disrupting the mobile network.

According to Orange, the incident took place between midnight and 1am. The perpetrators opened underground access hatches and vandalized the cables. However, the cables were not stolen. In the process, they cut the optical fibers, causing the major outage. Around a hundred communes were affected, notably in the Crépy-en-Valois area and in the Compiégnois region, around Jonquières.

(Hungary ) 4th of June : Hunger strike declaration by Maja

Hunger strike declaration by Maja

My name is Maja. Almost a year ago, I was unlawfully extradited to Hungary. Since then I have been held here in inhumane prolonged solitary confinement. Yesterday, on 4 June 2025, a decision was to be made on my application to be transferred to house arrest. This decision was postponed. The last applications for transfer to house arrest were rejected. I am no longer prepared to endure this intolerable situation and wait for decisions from a justice system that has systematically violated my rights over the last few months. I am therefore starting a hunger strike today, 5 June 2025. I demand that I be transferred back to Germany, that I can return to my family and that I can take part in the trial in Hungary from home.

I can no longer endure the prison conditions in Hungary. My cell was under video surveillance 24/7 for over three months. I had to wear handcuffs outside my cell at all times for over seven months, sometimes even in my cell, whether I was shopping, making Skype calls or during visits.
