URGENT: Prosecutor’s proposal to the council for the release of G. Michailidis (Greece)

URGENT: Prosecutor’s proposal to the council for the release of G. Michailidis

Today, Wednesday 6/7, the prosecutor’s proposal for the release of the anarchist hunger striker Giannis Michailidis, who has been on hunger strike since 23/5, was submitted to the council. The prosecutor’s proposal was rejected, so it now remains for the council to meet at an unspecified time.

There is no doubt. The judiciary is torturing and attempting to completely exterminate our comrade. Giannis has been entitled to his release for months now, as he fulfils the formal conditions, but he is being held “preventively” as a prisoner because the bastards of the state-judicial complex consider that “there is a risk that he will commit new offences”. They now want to cause irreparable damage to the striker’s health, with irreparable problems that will accompany him for the rest of his life.

We have no illusions. The justice system that has released murderers and rapists (Ep. Korkoneas, P. Filippides, Ath. Hortarias, Leventis) in the last few days is class-based. It is the voice of the state and capitalist society, which fears people like Giannis, because in their faces they carry the dignity and intransigence of a man who struggles and always keeps his head high. In their faces they carry the prospect of the revolutionary overthrow of the world of wage slavery and power.

We remain wholeheartedly on the side of our comrade to the end.

Munich (Germany): the G7 cops smell burning

The G7 cops smell burning

From June 26 to 28, the next G7 summit will be held at Elmau Castle, a luxury hotel located at the foot of the Bavarian Alps. Munich, the capital of this German region, is of course already full of cops (18,000 are expected), especially since tens of thousands of demonstrators are also expected.

All the preparations for the summit were going well, except that on Wednesday June 22, around 3 am, in the Hochstrasse district of Munich, a few days before the visit of the state executioners, eight riot police vehicles, lined up one behind the other, went up in flames, while they were waiting patiently to do their job. Some of their equipment also went up in smoke with them (shields, riot helmets, bulletproof vests etc.), while the material damage amounted to several hundred thousand euros. A helicopter and nearly twenty patrols were immediately deployed in the vicinity to try to find the unknown people with warm hands, but in vain.

Athens, Greece: Responsibility claim by Anarchists for the attack on the YMET cops in solidarity with hunger striker G. Michailidis

In the evening of 02/07 a group of comrades moved towards the building of YMET with the aim of attacking with stones and Molotov cocktails. At the same time, other comrades were setting up barricades outside the campus gate. After the attack and clashes with the cops guarding the building, a total of more than a hundred comrades lined the barricades.

Despite the widespread and murderous chemical firing, people stood their ground and the formations continued for about an hour, resulting in injuries to riot cops. This conference is reproduced here with some minor corrections by its author, and an introduction penned by him in the prison of Rebibbia. Continue reading Alfredo M. Bonanno, Sous les verrous. Rome, Italy: No surrender – National meeting against 41bis on 16 and 17 of July 22

NO SURRENDER
NATIONAL MEETING IN ROME AGAINST 41bis IN ROME 16 AND 17 JULY

On May 5th anarchist Alfredo Cospito, imprisoned in the prison of Terni, was notified that he had been put under the regime 41bis and was transferred a few days later to one of the toughest prisons that apply this regime, the prison of Bancali (Sassari, Sardinia), aimed at isolating him even more from those close to him and from the anarchist movement.

41bis is a prison regime aimed at preventing relations between inside and outside prison by limiting visits and telephone calls, subjecting correspondence to constant censorship, limiting the quantity and contents of permitted books, and at annihilating the individual through particularly stringent “security” measures, constant body searches and of the cell, restrictions of contact between prisoners, etc. A prison within the prison, or rather, a true “annihilation prison”, aimed at breaking those who for one reason or another constitute a threat to the established order and the powers that govern it.

After using 41bis to bend organised crime that could not be subdued or co-opted, after using it to punish the resurgence of the communist armed struggle, the Italian State now want to use it as a tool to attempt to crush revolutionary anarchist prisoners and intimidate all those who still undermine internal social peace. Rome, Italy: Police car set on fire

We receive and circulate: 13/6/2022

Guess who is the enemy of every lella [lesbian]?

For example, cops and thugs with their truncheons

for those who have stepped outside the norm and will certainly not return.

Guess who is the enemy of every frocia [faggot]?

Surely the military that on land, sky and sea

defends national capital and this odious social peace.

Guess who is the enemy of every trans?

Every good citizen, too, behind their mobile phone,

loves decorum, has a good job

and a vaccination certificate: the banality of evil.

Since the first pride was a revolt, we thought it would be nice to celebrate it this way.

May the pride of our fabulousness never be divorced from the pride of our anger.

Berlin (Germany): storming the police station

via: sansnom

Storming the police station

Last night 19/6/22, a small group of friends attacked the police station in Treptower Park (Berlin)*.

This small action may seem insignificant in the face of the incessant harassment, aggression and repression by the cops.

But even if it is only a few seconds, during which we leave behind our powerlessness, we are defending ourselves against the increasingly narrow borders and the arrogance of the cops. Continue reading Berlin (Germany): storming the police station

Zografou, Athens, Greece: Molotov Attack on local cop station and riot outside Zografou university campus in solidarity with Giannis Michailidis

Several hundred (not 50 like the media report) hooded in groups attack the MAT riot cops at the local cop station just round the corner from the Zorgrafou university campus, where there is also a 3 day Anti-Racist Festival occuring with Hip Hop live.

The attack on the cops sparks a 2 hour battle with the cops at the entrance to the campus, in which burning tyre barricades, fire extinguishers, a rain of stones and wave after wave of molotov attacks are inflicted on the state murderers in uniform. The riot only stops after a continous assault by the cops with not only CS gas but the internationally banned CN gas that burns skin.

Athens, Greece: The 2nd march in solidarity with the anarchist hunger striker Giannis Michailidis

On Thursday 30 June, the Assembly of Solidarity with the anarchist hunger striker Giannis Michailidis called for the “3rd Panhellenic Day of Action and Solidarity for Giannis Michailidis”. In Athens the second central march took place, which started from Propylaea, passed through Omonia, reached Syntagma and ended again at Propylaea.

It numbered about 600 people, and was supported by several organisations and collectives. The police presence was again strong, with riot police cordoned off left and right to the end. Their attitude in this particular march was more provocative and abusive. However, the march was completed as normal.

Breaking of windows at two war profiteers.

18 June

In the south-east of Munich the windows fell at the end of March, beginning of April at the arms profiteers Philotech and Infineon.

The software company Philotech, located at Eschenstraße 2 in Taufkirchen, counts all the well-known German defense companies among its customers. According to the company, it has particular experience in the fields of Military Aircraft, Military Vehicle, Border Control and Naval Systems. At the end of March, several windows of this company were broken one night.

Athens,Greece : CLAIM OF THE ATTACK ON THE OBA STORE.

On the night of May Day we chose to attack the new store in the Exarchia area, at 45 Themistokleous Street, called OBA. We broke its storefront and left the political message of our action with stickers saying that since the opening of this store the homeless person who lived in front of its storefront was displaced.

This action was our response to the displacement of the homeless person who had resided for years in the arcades in front of that store and who, after its opening, was forced to seek shelter in another corner of the neighborhood.

How the surplus is displaced to make way for urban and middle class shoppers is also demonstrated by the fact that on the opposite side of the store we attacked there was a squat, which the State evicted a few years ago, sealing the building to prevent its reoccupation.

UK: Communication with anarchist comrade Toby Shone cut off by scum prison authorities G4S

Imprisoned Anarchist Toby Shone who is being held at the private G4S prison HMP/YOI Parc in Bridgend, South Wales, is now unable to communicate by phone with his solidarity group and closest loved ones after the Security Team at Parc, headed by Daniel Hayman, removed these contacts from his permitted phone pin numbers list on Friday 24th June 2022 at 6pm. This together with interference with his post and emails is an attempt to hold him incommunicado in the jail.

He was formally notified of this decision on Saturday 25th June with the following reasons given: giving interviews over the phone, giving detailed information about staff at the prison which has then been published online, and hate speech against some prison staff.

Neither Toby nor his comrades are surprised by this action and Toby remains strong and defiant. The weak and pitiful lackeys that work in the prison camps of capital, locking other human beings up in exchange for a little piece of silver and a small dimension of power over others, are no match at all for the revolutionary spirit and they know it. Neither Toby nor any of us will ever shut up.

Write to the prison to complain and show your solidarity by contacting the Director of HMP Parc:
