Greece: ‘For our brother Alfredo’

‘For our brother Alfredo’

Sixteen Poste Italiane vehicles were set on fire early Saturday morning, while 22 buses were burnt to the ground Saturday night in Rome. This was preceded by the burning of telecommunications pillars in Genoa, shortly before the big anti-fascist march in Milan, attended by over 4000 anarchists, to commemorate 20 years since the murder of Davide Casare (Dax) and in solidarity with Alfredo’s struggle against 41bis, who is now on his 150th day of a hunger strike.

Many developments are expected this week due to moves made indefence of Alfredo, as well as the upcoming review of the request on 24 March for the recall of 41bis and his detention for health reasons by the Milan Court of Appeal.

Urgent Words Faced with a Flame that is Going Out. Words of Monica Caballero on the hunger strike of Alfredo Cospito

February 3, 2023

I have had the pleasure of reading the words of comrades from different territories who showed their ardent solidarity with the hunger strike waged by Alfredo Cospito to get out of the torture regime of 41 bis. In these lands a group of subversive, anarchist, anti-authoritarian, anti-speciesist and nihilist prisoners also expressed our unconditional solidarity with the comrade. To fraternize with a comrade as valuable as Alfredo is necessary for those of us who position ourselves as deniers and antagonists to the current life governed by authority, and even more so in the difficult moment he is going through,. Sending words of solidarity from prison to a like-minded comrade is never out of place.

In my case, when I have received words of solidarity from a comrade while imprisoned, I have always valued and treasured them as something very precious. But at this moment comrade Alfredo Cospito needs words to be transformed into actions, to attack, coerce, subvert, manipulate, threaten, etc. all those who have the power to change his prison situation and/or who sustain the 41 bis regime.

A brief overview of modern forensic linguistics methods for determining authorship.

The following article tries to give an overview from a non-technical perspective and to make a corresponding evaluation. There are some academic publications on this topic that could be evaluated for a better assessment. However, my main purpose here is just to raise the issue, not to provide a sound and conclusive view so if you know anything more, publish it!

Avoiding traces that could be your undoing down the road – perhaps even after years or decades – is probably of interest to most people who occasionally commit a crime and come into conflict with the law. Avoiding fingerprints, avoiding DNA traces, avoiding shoe prints and textile fiber traces or at least disposing of clothing afterwards, avoiding surveillance cameras, avoiding tool traces, avoiding recordings of any kind, recognizing surveillance, etc. – all this should be a concern for anyone who commits crimes from time to time and wants to protect themselves from identification. But what about those traces that often arise only after a crime has been committed, out of the urge to explain one’s deed anonymously or even by using a recurring pseudonym? When writing and publishing a communiqué?

Banner Drop for Welaunee Forest Defenders (Montreal,Canada)

Banner Drop for Welaunee Forest Defenders

Militarization and expansion of police power is a global threat. The fight back against the Cop City development project in Atlanta mirrors other local struggles everywhere. This solid and long standing frontline struggle represents how the destruction of natural habitats is interconnected with state violence and repression.

At the edge of Welaunee forest, every cop pushed back with fireworks and every piece of construction equipment set ablaze is welcomed with cheer from companions all over turtle island and beyond.

We made and dropped this banner in Montréal in solidarity with all the arrestees in Altanta, even the innocent ones. We will never forget Tortuguita.

[Chilean State] Text: A Legacy of Disgrace: On the situation of comrade Marcelo Villarroel Sepúlveda

Text: A Legacy of Disgrace: On the situation of comrade Marcelo Villarroel Sepúlveda

The backlog of pages and cases passed from one office to another, from one department to another and from one ministry to another. The pages were still white, they had not yet yellowed as they eventually would. To tell the truth, many things at that time passed from one office to another, the transition accommodated and rearranged things so that nothing changed.

The urban guerrilla warfare, assaults, executions, brass, gunpowder, statements of armed hooded men, stolen cars, banks and blasts of the nineties were translated into the legal language of illicit association, homicide, co-perpetrator of homicide, formation of a combat group, robbery with intimidation, serious injuries and an almost infinite etcetera.

Toulouse (Haute-Garonne) France : Fire-bruary

Toulouse (Haute-Garonne) : Fire-bruary

IAATA, March 5, 2023

The first cold hours of February 25 were warmed up by the criminal and shameless fire of a Circet car in Amidonniers. The development of telecoms transforms the world into an open-air work colony, but only the authorities have an interest in pretending that revolt is impossible. There is always a way to strike.

This flaming car was meant to salute Boris, a comrade from Besançon who was repressed for burning cell towers, and the people arrested in November across Occitania for burning cell towers and speed cameras.

Also, on February 24 the Italian justice confirmed that Alfredo Cospito
will remain in solitary confinement, which is like trying to kill him. This fire also wanted to support the fight against this world of barbed wire.

Words of Anarchist Prisoner Aldo Hernández

March 16, 2023

Metal against metal, heavy blows at the entrance of the building where I slept with my beloved daughter and my brother that night. I reacted to their machine guns and the imminent violence to which we would be subjected by waking up my daughter, getting her dressed, and telling her that the police were coming for me. I managed to tell her that I loved her forever and ever, to be strong and calm. I stood in front of her in the face of their weapons and arrogance.

Damn cowards, they investigated me for more than a year, followed me, placed cameras, photographed me, listened to me… they were on my heels and preferred to expose a minor to the violent raid that we experiences that early morning of December 22, 2022. Despicable beings that only did not stop me before out of fear. They clearly knew that this individual would not receive them in a good way, on the contrary, with all the courage that those of us who carry the confrontation against power and its servants, that courage that runs through our veins, that the enemies will never be able to understand. They came to me in the pure style of the fascism of the D.I.N.A or the C.N.I. I cannot forgive much less forget that they subjected my daughter to a “subtle interrogation”. I hate them a little more every second. Remember that though today my body is imprisoned, my ideas and projects continue to travel illegally through the streets of this territory with the desire to concretize in action what I have reflected with different comrades, sisters and brothers.

Spain: Claim for the Package Bomb Against the Head of the Prison Guards’ Union CSIF Zaragoza

March 11, 2023

Alfonso Peiró is not a mere jailer. For some reason he feels compelled to defend corporate impunity, specifically in the Zuera, Zaragoza maxi-prison.

When the prisoners vent their anger among themselves or against one another, everything continues as usual. However, when someone dares to return the violence to the henchmen of confinement, doubly despicable characters like Alfonso Peiró come out to bawl victimhood.

The few consequences that could arise from our attentions are nothing compared to what characters of his ilk and their superiors deserve.

Montevideo, Uruguay ; Banner in Solidarity with Alfredo Cospito

Montevideo :  Banner in Solidarity with Alfredo Cospito

As a gesture of rebellious complicity and response to the international call for solidarity with the comrade Alfredo, we dropped this banner off front of one of the houses that the Italian community has in the Uruguayan capital. The comrade has been on hunger strike for more than 100 days, fighting until death against the 41Bis torture regime and life in prison.

The fact that the Italian state is letting him die is no surprise, and is is crucial to multiply and expand gestures of solidarity and action to support our comrade. Let’s not wait for the worst outcome to take to the streets.

Internationalist Call for Actions in Solidarity with Marcelo Vollarroel after 15 Years in Prison & in the Context of the Permanent Campaign for his Freedom! ( $hile )

Internationalist Call for Actions in Solidarity with Marcelo Vollarroel after 15 Years in Prison & in the Context of the Permanent Campaign for his Freedom!

On March 15, in the context of comrade Alfredo Cospito’s admirable determination in Italian prison, and comrades Mónica Caballero and Francisco Solar’s preparation for trial, antiauthoritarian and subversive prisoner, comrade Marcelo Villarroel marks 15 years of imprisonment. 15 years ago, he was captured in Argentina while fleeing Chile in clandestinity due to the case known as “Security”.

The antagonistic actions against power that the comrade chose as his form of life at a very young age made him a target of the powerful and their media. They created a brutal and crude spectacle of persecution out of the expropriation of that bank in the center of Santiago, Chile and the resulting death of the cop Moyano in October 2007.

The state kidnapping of Marcelo, which in concrete terms is a concealed life sentence, is sustained by the most rotten filth of the dictatorial inheritance: Pinochet’s putrid Military court, even in 2023. Something that seems unthinkable 50 years after the military coup and the start of the civic-military dictatorship.

However, this parallel justice, that no one seems to notice, hear or mention, remains intolerably operational. This was demonstrated this past February 27 at the sentence review hearing helf in the 7th Guarantee Court of Santiago, which confirmed that Marcelo should remain in prison until 2036.

The Forest Fights Back – March 5th Action Report (USA)

The Forest Fights Back – March 5th Action Report (USA)

On March 5th, around 5:30pm, just over 300 people marched to the North Gate, located on Key Road. This is the site of ongoing “erosion control” by Brent Scarborough Company, a subcontractor of Brasfield & Gorrie. In this area, police have staged around-the-clock for over a month, spending $41,500 per day to protect the area from protestors. They have used vehicle headlights and two large floodlights to illuminate the tree line surrounding the powerline cut.

The 300 of us damaged the silt fencing on both the east and west sides of the cut. Using box cutters as well as our hands and feet, we destroyed a high percentage of the work done by the Police Foundation contractors in the past month. That work needs to be re-done in order to meet the standards set by law (a standard we do not know much about, as that is not our primary concern).

Oaxaca, Mexico: Claim for Explosive Attack of Bienestar Bank

Oaxaca: Claim for Explosive Attack of Bienestar Bank

February 19, 2023 via: es-contrainfo

We claim responsibility for the detonation of the homemade explosive artefact inside an ATM of bienestar Bank located on the outskirts of Oaxaca City, territory dominated by the Mexican State.

2/14/23 at dawn. We light the explosive. From a distance we hear the explosion and the bank alarms. We expected a more powerful impact that would cause greater damage to the ATM, and break the tedium of social peace for a moment. This time the action was silenced by the henchmen of order and the press. We will sharpen the knife more next time. This seditious gesture is a combative greeting to Alfredo Cospito and his irreducible war against prison and the 41 B.I.S. isolation regime.

It is clear to us that insurrectional solidarity requires will, courage and gunpowder.
Intensify the conflict by pushing forward the attack!
For the extension of combat and seditious solidarity!
DOWN WITH THE 41 B.I.S. ISOLATION REGIME!!!
For the practice of anarchic vandalism against the established order!

Chile : Meeting in Solidarity with Mónica Caballero and Francisco Solar

Meeting in Solidarity with Mónica Caballero and Francisco Solar

March 12, 2023 informativoanarquista

With the start of preparations for the oral trial of comrades Mónica and Francisco, we call on you to come to the premises of the Injustice Center (located at Av. Pedro Montt 1606, Santiago Centro) on March 14 at 9:30 am. This is the beginning of a process in which the state apparatus will seek to break our networks and momentum, which is why solidarity remains part of our direct confrontation with any authority.

“Our only decision is the permanent attack against power.”
“Until all authority burns, unyielding until total liberation.”

MONICA AND FRANCISCO TO THE STREETS!

Greece: Announcement of Dimitris Chatzivasileiadis for his participation with a symbolic hunger strike in the international call of action for anarchist prisoner Marcelo Villarroel in Chile.

One-day hunger strike in response to the internationalist call for action in solidarity with Marcelo Villarroel

“These are times of clarity and definitions”

“I am from the war, a classic son of the working class, of the city growing up in a population where the code of struggle was and is for survival in the always precarious material conditions, but with strong bonds of communal solidarity as a life practice… Respect for the mapu ñuke, the search for a harmonious relationship with the planet, the recovery of spaces and territories and their clean control to build an autonomous path with values that oppose the bourgeois way of teaching and the ideology of the great God of Capital, perpetuated with blood and fire by the Chilean national state, and all its death apparatus, are aspects that make it impossible for me to ignore the bonds with and deep feelings about the struggle for the liberation of wallmapu.

These are times of clarity and definitions. Autonomous, anti-authoritarian and anarchist subversive practices in this part of the world cannot ignore the territoriality of the conflict, nor can they remain only in general and tepid solidarity….

The mode of confrontation is our inalienable choice in prison and on the street, we are not victims of circumstances, but conscious warriors of a fight to the death for the Total Liberation of peoples, individuals and communities. This is where all our efforts are made and renewed. “[1]
