Excerpt of the Claim of Responsibility for arson attack on a Violanta company van by Anarchist Core “Fantasy Optimism Risk”
In the early hours of 31/03, we placed an incendiary device on a Violanta company van on Baknana Street in Neos Kosmos as a minimal response to the murder of 5 workers at the Violanta factory.
The death of the 5 workers and the injury of 7 other workers after the powerful explosion that took place at the Violanta factory in Trikala on January 26th adds to the huge mosaic of bosses’ murders by the state and capital. Agapi Bounova, Vasiliki Skampardoni, Elena Katsarou, Stavroula Boukouvala, Anastasia Nasiou were murdered. Their names must remain alive in everyone’s memory as murdered members of our class.
With this action, we seek to some extent return the violence of the authorities that we face daily, putting forward the project of anti-violence as a necessary means for breaking with the existing situation, but also as a minimal sign of solidarity with the imprisoned anarchist comrades who are being prosecuted for the Ampelokipi case.
To defend the revolutionary memory of the anarchist comrades Alessandro Marcogliano and Sara Ardizzone in Italy who lost their lives after the explosion of an improvised explosive device, of the anarchist armed guerrilla Kyriakos Xymitiris who also lost his life in a similar way and for what they fought for to the end, is essential. Let us keep the revolutionary projects of the comrades alive, because only in this way will we keep their memory alive. Their gaze full of sparks holds our hand in the here and now in every moment of direct action.
Sarah, Sandro, forever alive, we will be together on the streets of fire.
Kyriakos Xymitiris, one of us, forever a comrade on the streets of fire.
We do not forget the memory of Snizanna Paraskevaidou who fell in battle during an attack on a capitalist target (National Bank) in Thessaloniki.
Freedom for the comrades imprisoned in connection with the Ampelokipoi case.
