As the genocide in Gaza enters its final phase, complicit arms dealers are more active than ever.
Thales, which has been supplying Israeli killer drones with guidance systems for years, and which supplies armies around the world with drones, missiles, armored vehicles, and electronic systems, is currently building a huge campus in Meudon-la-Forêt. A stone’s throw from the existing Hélios 1 site in Vélizy, “Hélios 2” will accommodate 2,500 employees working on aeronautical equipment for civil and military use.
The company’s future largest site worldwide will fit in perfectly with the hellish “ecosystem” of Vélizy-Meudon, which includes sites belonging to Dassault, Bouygues, MBDA France (a missile manufacturer), a military base, the CRS 8 barracks, and a data center focused on AI, among others. Eiffage, which is in charge of the Helios 2 project and has a bunch of other prison and CRA construction projects going on elsewhere, has its own campus nearby. A neighborhood entirely dedicated to weapons and surveillance tech: this dystopia is sickening, but it offers a useful concentration of targets when you want to show them that no one is untouchable.
Last week, we took advantage of the night to break into the electrical transformer that supplies power to the Helios 2 construction site in Meudon and set fire to the high-voltage cables inside.
We don’t know exactly what impact the fire had, but the power was cut off in the vicinity of the transformer until at least the following evening. While we are sure we cut off power to the Helios 2 construction site, we also hope that we cut off power to the Dassault premises next door and other nasty companies in the area.
Burning a single transformer won’t stop them from continuing to operate, but ruining just one day of work for them is already an interesting objective.
We therefore call for continued attacks on Thales and other companies complicit in genocide, as well as Eiffage and all its subcontractors involved in the construction of Helios 2.
Let’s burn their warehouses and construction sites, their cables and cars, let’s break and sabotage their equipment to make them pay for the shitty world they force us to live in.
