Camarades, merci pour votre invitation au Congrès International des Prisonniers Politiques que vous organisez. Je vous adresse mes plus sincères salutations de la prison de Domokos, en Grèce.

Si l’ histoire de l’ humanité est la lutte de celles et ceux qui aspirent à la liberté, à l’égalité et à la solidarité, contre celles et ceux qui cherchent à imposer l’esclavage, l’ inégalité, l’exploitation et l’oppression; si l’ histoire de l’ humanité est la lutte des femmes contre le pouvoir patriarcal et sexiste, la lutte des pauvres, des peuples et de la classe ouvrière contre les élites dominantes, les riches, les esclavagistes, les féodaux, les bureaucrates, ou, dans les termes d’aujourd’hui, contre l’État et le Capital, alors cette lutte a été payée au prix du sang. Des camarades innombrables, partout dans le monde, ont donné leur vie dans ce combat. Ils sont tombés dans des affrontements avec l’ennemi, lors de heurts avec les forces de répression, sont morts en prison ou au cours de grèves de la faim, ont été assassins lors de manifestations et de grèves. Au fil du temps, cette lutte a coûté des millions de morts, des génocides de people sentiers, des milliers d’années de detention cumulées, ainsi que par la torture et l’ isolement.Dans cette guerre sociale et cette lutte de classes, le système international de domination actuel, l’État et le Capital, ne se contente pas de nous éliminer physique mentou de nous emprisonner. Il exigeque nous renoncions à notre identité politique, à notre lutte, à notre organisation, aux choix de confrontation que nous avons faits, à la révolution, à la lute armée. Il exige que nous reconnaissions être des criminels, des terroristes et des element sant isociaux, alors que cesont précisément là les caractéristiques propres du système qu’il incarne. Notre devoir, en tant que prisonniers/prisonnières politiques, est donc de rester fidè les et cohérents avec les choix de lutte que nous avons faits. C’est là notre victoire morale et politique face aux criminels étatiques et capitalistes et à leurs appareils. Aucune révision, donc. Aucune repentance pour nos choix.

Nous vivons à une époque où le système international étatico-capitaliste de domination s’oriente vers un totalitarisme de plus en plus grand, visant la soumission totale de l’être humain au pouvoir et sa transformation en un instrument docile et dépolitisé. La remise en cause de l’ensemble des con quêtes ouvrières et populaires obtenuspar les luttes du passé, dans le cadre de l’ hégémonie néolibérale des dernières décennies, les legislations antiterroristes, le durcissement de la répression et du cadrepénal, la création de prisons et d’ établissements d’ isolements péciaux, la criminalisation des grèves et la restriction du droit de manifester, convergent vers cetobjectif. Parallèlement, la concurrence impérialiste entre les grandes puissances industrielles au sein du système international de domination, comme l’illustrent, par exemple, la guerre en Ukraine ou le génocide du people palestinien à Gaza, met à nu l’hypocrisie des États et de leurs dirigeants qui invoquent la «démocratie», les «droits humains» ou le «droit international» etc. La prétendue « démocratie» bourgeoise a désormais perdu tout sens. Les elections sont vidées de leursens, puisque les gouvernements des États-nations, indépendamment de leur couleur idéologique et en dehors de toute volonté populaireré elle, appliquent les politiques dictées par les bureaucraties et les centres de pouvoir du système étatico-capitaliste international (G7, Union Européenne, FMI, NATO, etc.). Leur «démocratie» bourgeoise prend de plus en plus les traits d’une dictature et d’un régime autoritaire à vocation totalitaire.

En Grèce, après la défaite sociale de l’insurrection de 2010–2012 contre les programmes de prêts imposés par l’Union Européenne, la BCE et le FMI, nous faisons déjà l’expérience concrète de cetautoritarisme: appauvrissement durable des classes populaires, austérité permanente et durcissement continu de la repression étatique. Mais au-delà de l’intensification de l’exploitation et du totalitarisme, le système international étatico-capitaliste, par salogique de croissant ceinfinie, son accumulation sans limites et la destruction écologique qu’il engendre, nous place face à une question fondamentalement existentielle: celle de notre survieen tant qu’espèce humaine, et de la survie même de la Terre et des écosystèmes. Cette catastrophe écologique, aux conséquences déjà irréversibles, constitue sans doute l’un des moteurs les plus puissants pour que les peoples renversent le système mondial de domination étatico-capitaliste.

Si Rosa Luxemburg avait formulé, en son temps, le dilemme «Socialisme ou Barbarie», aujourd’hui» le dilemme se pose désor mais en cestermes: «Révolution sociale ou Anéantissement».

Malgré les conditions difficiles dans les quelles nous vivons et le sombre avenir quel’ État et le Capital nous réservent, notre lutte pour les renverser doit se poursuivre à tout prix.

Camarades, je vous , je vous souhaite force et courage dans la lutte. Je souhaite à tous/toutes les prisonniers/prisonnieres politiques de tenir bon, où qu’ ils/ells soient, en prison ou à l’ isolement, en Europe, en Turquie, en Israël, en Amérique, partout.

Message/greetings from Nikos Maziotis at the International Conference on Political Prisoners organized by the Prisoners’ Voice Platform (TSP) in Paris (20/12 -21/12/2025)

Comrades, thank you for your invitation to the International Congress of Political Prisoners that you are organizing. I send you my warmest greetings from Domokos Prison, Greece.

If the history of humanity is the struggle of those who aspire to freedom, equality, and solidarity against those who seek to impose slavery, inequality, exploitation, and oppression; if the history of humanity is the struggle of women against patriarchal and sexist power, the struggle of the poor, the people, and the working class against the ruling elites, the rich, the slave owners, the feudal lords, the bureaucrats, or, in today’s terms, against the State and Capital, then this struggle has been paid for with blood. Countless comrades, all over the world, have given their lives in this fight.

They fell in confrontations with the enemy, during clashes with repressive forces, died in prison or during hunger strikes, and were murdered during demonstrations and strikes. Over time, this struggle has cost millions of lives, genocides of entire populations, thousands of years of accumulated imprisonment, as well as torture and isolation. In this social war and class struggle, the current international system of domination, the State and Capital, is not content with simply eliminating us physically or imprisoning us. It demands that we renounce our political identity, our struggle, our organization, the choices of confrontation we have made, revolution, and armed struggle.

It demands that we acknowledge being criminals, terrorists, and social detractors, when these are precisely the defining characteristics of the system it embodies. Our duty, as political prisoners, is therefore to remain faithful and consistent with the choices we have made in our struggle. This is our moral and political victory against the state and capitalist criminals and their apparatus. No revision, then. No repentance for our choices.

We live in an era where the international state-capitalist system of domination is moving towards ever-greater totalitarianism, aiming for the total subjugation of human beings to power and their transformation into docile and depoliticized instruments. The undermining of all the workers’ and popular gains won through past struggles, within the framework of the neoliberal hegemony of recent decades, the anti-terrorism legislation, the hardening of repression and the penal framework, the creation of prisons and special isolation facilities, the criminalization of strikes, and the restriction of the right to demonstrate, all converge towards this objective.

At the same time, imperialist competition between the major industrial powers within the international system of domination, as illustrated, for example, The war in Ukraine and the genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza expose the hypocrisy of states and their leaders who invoke “democracy,” “human rights,” or “international law,” etc. T

he so-called bourgeois “democracy” has now lost all meaning. Elections are devoid of purpose, since the governments of nation-states, regardless of their ideological leanings and without any popular will, implement policies dictated by the bureaucracies and power centers of the international capitalist-state system (G7, European Union, IMF, NATO, etc.). Their bourgeois “democracy” is increasingly taking on the characteristics of a dictatorship and an authoritarian regime with totalitarian aspirations.

In Greece, following the social defeat of the 2010–2012 uprising against the loan programs imposed by the European Union, the ECB, and the IMF, we are already experiencing the concrete effects of this authoritarianism: the lasting impoverishment of the working classes, permanent austerity, and the continuous hardening of state repression.

But beyond the intensification of exploitation and totalitarianism, the international state-capitalist system, with its logic of infinite growth, its limitless accumulation, and the ecological destruction it engenders, confronts us with a fundamentally existential question: that of our survival as a human species, and indeed the very survival of the Earth and its ecosystems. This ecological catastrophe, with its already irreversible consequences, undoubtedly constitutes one of the most powerful forces driving the people to overthrow the global system of state-capitalist domination.This places us before a fundamentally existential question: that of our survival as a human species, and indeed the very survival of the Earth and its ecosystems. This ecological catastrophe, with its already irreversible consequences, undoubtedly constitutes one of the most powerful driving forces for people to overthrow the global system of state-capitalist domination.

If Rosa Luxemburg formulated the dilemma “Socialism or Barbarism” in her time, today the dilemma is posed in these terms: “Social Revolution or Annihilation.” Despite the difficult conditions in which we live and the bleak future that the State and Capital have in store for us, our struggle to overthrow them must continue at all costs.

Comrades, I wish you strength and courage in the struggle. I wish all political prisoners to hold firm, wherever they are, in prison or in solitary confinement, in Europe, Turkey, Israel, America, everywhere.

Μήνυμα/χαιρετισμός του Νίκου Μαζιώτη στο 2ήμερο Διεθνές Συνέδριο για τους Πολιτικούς Κρατούμενους που διοργανώνεται από το TSP (Πλατφόρμα της Φωνής Κρατουμένων) στο Παρίσι (20/12 -21/12/ 2025)

Συντρόφισσες/οι, σας ευχαριστώ για την πρόσκλησή σας στο Διεθνές Συνέδριο για τους Πολιτικούς Κρατούμενους που διοργανώνετε και σας στέλνω μια μεγάλη αγκαλιά από τις φυλακές Δομοκού στην Ελλάδα.

Αν η ιστορία της ανθρωπότητας είναι η πάλη αυτών που στοχεύουν στην ελευθερία στην ισότητα και την αλληλεγγύη, ενάντια σε αυτούς που θέλουν να επιβάλλουν την σκλαβιά, την ανισότητα, την εκμετάλλευση και την καταπίεση, αν η ιστορία της ανθρωπότητας είναι ο αγώνας των γυναικών ενάντια στην πατριαρχική και σεξιστική εξουσία, ο αγώνας των φτωχών, των λαών, της εργατικής τάξης εναντίον των εξουσιαστικών ελίτ, των πλουσίων, των δουλοκτητών, των φεουδαρχών, των γραφειοκρατών ή με σημερινούς όρους εναντίον του Κράτους και του Κεφαλαίου, αυτός ο αγώνας έχει πληρωθεί με πολύ αίμα.

Πολλές συντρόφισσες και σύντροφοι σ’ όλο τον κόσμο έχουν δώσει τη ζωή τους σ’ αυτόν τον αγώνα. Έχουν πέσει σε μάχες με τον εχθρό, σε συμπλοκές με τις δυνάμεις καταστολής, έχουν πεθάνει στις φυλακές ή σε απεργίες πείνας, έχουν σκοτωθεί σε διαδηλώσεις και απεργίες. Αυτός ο αγώνας έχει πληρωθεί στο πέρασμα του χρόνου με εκατομμύρια νεκρούς, με γενοκτονίες λαών, με χιλιάδες χρόνια φυλακή, με βασανιστήρια κι απομονώσεις.

Σ’ αυτόν τον κοινωνικό και ταξικό πόλεμο, το σημερινό διεθνές σύστημα εξουσίας, το Κράτος και το Κεφάλαιο, δεν αρκείται να μας εξοντώσει ή να μας φυλακίσει. Απαιτεί να απαρνηθούμε την ταυτότητά μας, τον αγώνα μας, την οργάνωσή μας, τις επιλογές αγώνα που κάναμε, την επανάσταση, το αντάρτικο.

Απαιτεί να παραδεχτούμε ότι είμαστε εγκληματίες, τρομοκράτες και αντικοινωνικά στοιχεία ενώ το ίδιο έχει αυτά τα χαρακτηριστικά. Χρέος μας λοιπόν είναι, ως πολιτικοί κρατούμενοι, να παραμείνουμε συνεπείς στις επιλογές αγώνα που κάναμε. Αυτό είναι η δική μας ηθική και πολιτική νίκη απέναντι στους εγκληματίες κρατιστές-καπιταλιστές και στα όργανά τους.

Καμιά λοιπόν αναθεώρηση, καμιά μετάνοια για τις επιλογές μας.

Ζούμε σε μια εποχή όπου το διεθνές κρατικο-καπιταλιστικό σύστημα εξουσίας τείνει προς ένα ολοένα αυξανόμενο ολοκληρωτισμό με σκοπό την πλήρη υποταγή του ανθρώπου στην εξουσία και τη μετατροπή του σε ένα άβουλο όργανο της εξουσίας.

Η αναθεώρηση όλων των εργατικών και λαϊκών κατακτήσεων που κερδήθηκαν με αγώνες παλιότερα, αναθεώρηση μέσα στα πλαίσια της πλήρους επικράτησης του νεοφιλελευθερισμού τις τελευταίες δεκαετίες, οι αντιτρομοκρατικές νομοθεσίες, η σκλήρυνση της καταστολής και του ποινικού νομοθετικού πλαισίου, η δημιουργία ειδικών φυλακών-απομονώσεων, η ποινικοποίηση των απεργιών και η συρρίκνωση του δικαιώματος των διαδηλώσεων, τείνουν προς αυτόν τον στόχο. Παράλληλα με αυτές τις συνθήκες, ο ανταγωνισμός των μεγάλων βιομηχανικών δυνάμεων μέσα στα πλαίσια του διεθνούς συστήματος εξουσίας, όπως π.χ. ο πόλεμος στην Ουκρανία και γενοκτονίες όπως του Παλαιστινιακού λαού στη Γάζα αποδεικνύουν την υποκρισία των κρατών και των ηγετών που μιλάνε για «δημοκρατία», «ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα», «διεθνές δίκαιο» κλπ.

Η λεγόμενη αστική «δημοκρατία» τους έχει χάσει πλέον οποιοδήποτε νόημα. Οι εκλογές δεν έχουν καμιά σημασία αφού οι κυβερνήσεις των εθνών-κρατών, ανεξάρτητα ιδεολογικοπολιτικής προέλευσης και ανεξάρτητα από τη βούληση των ψηφοφόρων, εφαρμόζουν υποχρεωτικά πολιτικές που επιβάλλουν οι γραφειοκρατίες και τα κέντρα εξουσίας του διεθνούς κρατικο-καπιταλιστικού συστήματος εξουσίας (G7, Ε.Ε., ΔΝΤ, ΝΑΤΟ κλπ).

Η αστική «δημοκρατία» τους μοιάζει ολοένα και περισσότερο με μια δικτατορία και ένα ολοκληρωτικό καθεστώς.

Στην Ελλάδα μετά την κοινωνική ήττα της εξέγερσης του 2010-’12 ενάντια στα προγράμματα δανεισμού της Ε.Ε. της ΕΚΤ και του ΔΝΤ, αυτόν τον ολοκληρωτισμό τον ζούμε ήδη, με τη διαρκή φτωχοποίηση και λιτότητα του λαού και τη σκλήρυνση του κρατικού αυταρχισμού. Πέρα όμως από την όξυνση του ολοκληρωτισμού και την ένταση της εκμετάλλευσης, το σημερινό διεθνές κρατικο-καπιταλιστικό σύστημα εξουσίας με την ακόρεστη δίψα του για ανάπτυξη και κέρδος και την οικολογική καταστροφή που έχει προκαλέσει, μας έχει φέρει ενώπιον ενός υπαρξιακού ζητήματος, ενώπιον του ζητήματος της επιβίωσής μας ως ανθρώπινου είδους και την επιβίωση της γης και του οικοσυστήματος συνολικά. Γι’ αυτό και αυτή η οικολογική καταστροφή με τις ήδη μη αναστρέψιμες συνέπειές της, είναι ίσως το μεγαλύτερο κίνητρο των λαών για να ανατρέψουν το παγκόσμιο κρατικο-καπιταλιστικό σύστημα εξουσίας.

Αν κάποτε η Ρόζα Λούξεμπουργκ είχε θέσει το δίλημμα στην εποχή της, το «Σοσιαλισμός ή Βαρβαρότητα», σήμερα το δίλημμα μπορεί να είναι πλέον το «Κοινωνική Επανάσταση ή Αφανισμός».

Παρά τις ζοφερές συνθήκες που ζούμε και το ζοφερό μέλλον που μας επιφυλάσσουν το Κράτος και το Κεφάλαιο, ο αγώνας μας για την ανατροπή τους πρέπει να συνεχιστεί παρά το οποιοδήποτε κόστος.

Συντρόφισσες/Σύντροφοι σας εύχομαι δύναμη και ένα καλύτερο αγωνιστικό μέλλον. Εύχομαι σε όλες και όλους τις/τους Πολιτικούς Κρατούμενες/Κρατούμενους να βαστάνε γερά όπου κι αν βρίσκονται στις φυλακές και στις απομονώσεις στην Ευρώπη, στην Τουρκία, στο Ισραήλ, στην Αμερική, παντού.
