MARSEILLE, BOUCHES-DU-RHÔNE, France : « may our tears become weapons! »

Tdor of revenge all year round!
Indymedia Nantes, 17 November 2025

During the night from 12 to Thursday 13 a good third of the cars inside the Tesla dealership of pennes-mirabeau (marseille) went up in flames. A firelighter placed on one of the tires was sufficient, contagion did the rest.

Big-up to the call to action (even if the  expedition had already been planned)

May our tears become weapons!

Fire at Tesla at Pennes-Mirabeau : various ignition points, fence cut …. suspected arson

La Provence, 13 November 2025 (extract)

This Thursday 13 November, at around 3 am, about 50 fire-fighters of Bouches-du-Rhône struggled to extinguish a fire of 24 electric vehicles in the Tesla dealership parking lot, in the Sybilles business park, at Pennes-Mirabeau. Although the cars were practically burnt out, the firefighters’ massive rapid intervention saved the adjoining building and the 50 or so vehicles parked nearby. According to  TF1, an early estimate of the damage was around 600 000 euros.]

The intervention ended at about 6.30am. When we arrived on the scene this morning you could still smell the smoke and the fire. The police were on site.

According to first investigations, assigned to the Division of territorial criminality (DCT), there can be no doubt that this was arson. According to a legal source, the chief investigators are focusing on degradation or destruction « using dangerous organized means, and criminal association »  A police source confirms that investigators noted a hole had been cut in the fence. As well as that, the fire had started at various distinct points, adding to the hypothesis of arson, but investigations are just beginning, Thursday.

This fire has happened in a black year for Tesla in France. In March, while the boss of the brand, Elon Musk, was involved in discussions, various dealerships were targets of arson, in Niort (Deux-Sèvres) and in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne). 10 to 12 cars were burnt each time.

The Tesla headquarters in France, in Saint-Ouen (Seine-Saint-Denis), was trashed. The electric car constructor’s sales went down at the start of the year, before picking up again in the autumn.
