It’s been almost four years, but today they knocked again: at 6.00 in the morning 27/08 we woke up to loud voices, chainsaws, ankle grinders and hammers on the doors. Out of 200 cops which were in the street, around 100 entered the house. Supposedly there were in total 700 cops related to the raid deployed in the city.
As usual the cops used the opportunity to cause as much chaos and destruction as possible: Multiple doors were destroyed completely or deconstructed, furniture, handrails and windows were demolished, parts of the fence to our neighbours yard were ripped off, cops peed on toilet seats and so on. Even though they did not have a warrant for it, they, among other things, stole documents and technical devices.To enter the flats, they broke open door locks. In a few flats in backhouse, where no one has been at the time of the raid, the cops changed the door lock and closed them. A simple door lock of course is not a barrier, therefore the flats are already back in our possession.
Base for todays raid was, as almost four years ago, a search warrant of Amtsgericht Tiergarten to identify every individual who was in the house at that point. In detail, they brought a list of people who have ongoing eviction lawsuits, which were supposed to be held in September. They seem to want to update this list, as the chamber of Landgericht for now did not just let the lawsuits pass.
The search warrant happened after the request of the alleged „owner“ Leonid Medved and his letterbox company Lafone Investments Limited – meaning the whole operation happened, because the Amtsgericht and the cops do everything to enforce the interests of real estate owners and yuppies. Their repression once again targets there, where our ideas and projects are a thorn in the flash of the ruling power.
So far we are well, we are already starting to repair our house again.

Upcoming Court Dates – Rigaer 94 stays – Call for manifestation
This September, there will be court dates to decide if the eviction of several flats, as well as Kadterschmiede and Keimzelle, is legally possible. A key question is if the british letterbox company Lafone Investments Limited is allowed to operate legally in Berlin. This once again shows the continuation of attacks on the partly squatted Rigaer 94.
We don´t care whether what the company does, is designated as legal /illegal, because we want to fight the whole system in which people get rich through the ownership of the living space of others.
Our goal is not to make a deal or buy the house, but to achieve the best conditions for our struggle outside the courtrooms, against the state, capitalism, and oppression.
We invite you to our manifestation in front of the court on 10.9. at 13 oclock at Littenstr 12-17 and our information event on 2.9. at 7pm in Linienstr. 206 and on 3.9 at 8pm in Kadterschmiede. We will share information and discuss about our legal situaton, our history, and our ideas there.
