“And even if death does not occur in direct confrontation, it’s us who must relive each history, who must construct the combative memory of our siblings so that their memory isn’t transformed into a citizenist memorial, so that their face isn’t that of some idol; So that the war they made in life forms part of the revolutionary impulse. Their stories, convictions and contradictions accompany us in each action, in each night of sabotage, in each destructive impulse of the society of misery, each gesture of rebellion.”

A ROAR BETWEEN ANIMALS

On March 18, 2015 anarchist and anti-speciesist comrade Javier Recabarren died after being run over by a transantiago bus on the intersection of Radal and Alameda, Santiago.

Javier, who was only 11 years old, had already participated in various anti-authoritarian initiatives, solidarity activities, meetings, demonstrations, masking up and confronting the bastard police. A slap in the face to anyone who thinks that you have to be a certain age to choose the path of conflict.

10 years after his death, we once again call for a week of agitation in memory of the comrade, incentivizing others, in turn, to extend ideas and practices that are antagonistic to power, which Javier, in his few short years, searched for and found with hunger to take action.

From March 11-18, go out into the street, become part of this open initiative. Everyone who feels called can bring something; create and spread propaganda, take action that means something.

We don’t forget the Polar bear Taco and the thousands of animals murdered, imprisoned, raped and objectified each day.

We don’t forget our dead who in life nurtured paths of illegal confrontation for Anarchy and Animal Liberation.

We greet our prisoners and fugitives who remain integral by choosing a life of conflict, resisting political prison and keeping a vegan diet faced with adverse conditions.
