Perama Athens, Greece: Responsibility claim

Perama Athens, Responsibility claim

On Friday, June 9, in the neighbourhood of Perama, we set fire to polling booths of multiple party choices on the occasion of the European election process, an act of defiance against the party apparatus and the oppressors of our lives. We want to send a message to Yiannis Lagoudakos, New Democracy politician, newly appointed mayor of Perama. When he vents his fascist anger against vulnerable minorities such as the Roma he should not forget the recent incident when the water hose rained down on the mother while he was making threats to kidnap her children, and that in the face of fascist violence nothing will be left unanswered.

From what it seems, the mirror of electoral delusion has been cracked. The mechanism of the elections and the entire Euro-parliamentary mafia is given meaning in the social conflict. The high rates of abstention from the European election process represent the maximum amount of dissatisfaction from society as a whole. At least in the Greek axis, right and left together and their ends have collapsed in the eyes of the youth and not only. What remains is the strengthening of self-organized social forces on the basis of radical formation, the creation of informal direct action groups and the cooperation between persons with the characteristics appropriate to the circumstances. Beyond the difficulty of the times and the hardening of State control over our lives, the anarchist struggle must examine the rebuilding and reconstitution of the insurrectionary process as well as its strategic framework for preparing and restarting new battle structures.

The bearers of this perception should be freed from the nexus of resignation and discouragement due to the dystopian vacuum of socio-political reality, in order to carry out actions that can give results of strengthening human relations, on the scale of a fighting attitude and dynamic. Detached from the competition of political trends and clique-mafioso logic, with social openings capable of mobilizing the aggressive confrontation to the degree of sharpening the class war against the State enemy, individuals, groups, collectives and the diversity of organization with the necessary political foresight and judgement, will be a crucial uplifting of the base of the movement.

Liberation from conservative myopic positions by challenging but also weakening the narrow ideological anchors that lead to immobility and ultimately retreat; the newfound tool of evolution is created for the diffusion of the revolutionary appetite, suitable for breaking the ice and social numbness.. When we don’t learn from our mistakes, we are not only doomed to fall back into the same traps of repetition, but to get comfortable with the monopoly of repeating the same mistake. This is how we give in to the weakness of not accepting a new cognitive perception and political perspective and therefore, we create our impasse ourselves. The antidote lies in solidarity, the empathy of our time, and mutual understanding and mutual understanding within the comradely world of resistance. The reality of exploitation is unfolding in our lives and through our lives it will be destroyed.

The State, all it has to sell is terror in the name of security and social peace, an organized illusion of certification of its ownership that now falls flat. The struggle against the State presupposes the struggle with street warfare tactics and self-defence against all kinds of authority, ministry and privilege. While the enemy is pounded in the north, the attack in the east needs to be inevitable. Voting is death and partisanship is poison in the veins of liberty.

This action is dedicated to the anarchist revolutionary Dimitris Hatzivasiliadis who is on hunger strike from inside the cells, because the management and the authorities of Domokos prisons are setting up provocations on his back, with the vehicle of the promoted cannibalism against him and with the aim of bending his fighting moral. Hands off the prisoners of the social-class war.

Solidarity with the occupations evicted and threatened by the State, community of Squatted Prosfygika of Alexandra Avenue, Self-Managing Hangout of Polytechnic, Open occupation on the hill of Strefi, anarchist hangout  UTOPIA A . D. in Komotini and occupied social centre Zizania in Phylis and Feron.
