A Few Clarifications from Aldo and Lucas Facing the So-Called “Gendarmerie Case”

In 2 months we will mark one year since our detention, since the multiple raids that were carried out in search of a comrade alleged to have carried out the assertive explosive attack that destroyed the offices of the National Directorate of the Gendarmerie of Chile.

This repressive operation culminated with four people in preventive detention, mainy being processed for various illicite elements found in the homes and Aldo, accused of being responsible for the explosive attack.

Since then we have all been named as part of the “Gendarmerie Case” even as legally, the causes have begun to separate gradually.

Despite the relations and bonds of friendship, care and revolutionary affect between some of us, what is certain is that it was those in power who constructed this reality. We, Aldo and Lucas Hernández, in our present and in our path have constructed our own anarchic and anatagonistic position.

Today we decide to distance ourselves from this collective denomination arranged vagaries and thickets of the investigative lines eminating from the forces of repression, to uplift and continue our own path – this time – from prison.

We make this brief clarification from a sense of honesty and revolutionary commitment to ourselves and with the comrades who have expressed their solidarity in different ways, aiming to take responsibility for our political positions inside and outside of prison. This collective and homogenous denomination of “Gendarmerie Case” simply limits us and doesn’t reflect our reality. This decision is motivated by the search to deepen our anarchist projection and negation of the existence.

Have no doubts: we send our revolutionary love to Abraham, Javier and Paty, and also to all of the imprisoned anarchist, subversive, and antispeciesist comrades.

We will only achieve freedom for all by destroying the prisons. We will only destroy the prisons sharpening the confrontation and strengthening the networks of anarchic complicity.
