Activity in Solidarity with Monica and Francisco and Launch of Publication “Complicity & Sedition”

Thanks to everyone who came to the activity in solidarity with Monica and Francisco in Villa Portales, in the context of the trial that they are facing right now.
Thanks to the comrades who supported with music @viejoted @nietotampoco @tijeradegato @macomusica, those who created the space in Villa Portales, and all those in solidarity who collaborated to create and make possible this activity.

The publication “Complicity & Sedition” is already being spread at different fairs, editorials and distributors. If you want copies to spread, write to us to coordinate.
The video and audio of the comrade Francisco’s declaration to the court will be spread in the coming days.

The publication will also be launched in various territories.

Let’s not forget that both comrades are currently in the middle of trial right now, with daily virtual appearances, where power seeks sentences that would bury them for life. The culmination of the judicial process began recently and is expected to last for a couple months.

Excerpt of the words appearing in “Complicity & Sedition”:

This one-off publication outlines the different cases that have passed against the comrades Monica and Francisco over more than 10 years, situating them in their wider context of the development of the anarchist environment, advancement of the social war, confrontation with power and state repression. The Bombs Case in 2010, imprisonment in Spain in 2013, the recent repressive wave of 2020 and Francisco taking responsibility for the explosive attacks, are narrated not as simple news, but rather acts framed in moments and episodes of conflict against power and part of the recent past of the anarchist struggle.

With this material we aim to spread the situation of Monica and Francisco who are facing one of the most brutal trials against anarchist comrades in the recent history of Chile, but also one of the cases where responsibility is taken for the attacks the comrades are accused of. We aim to incorporate past experiences to the arsenal of the present struggle, in addition to overcoming frustration and the importance of the kidnapping of comrades and the extremely high sentences being sought, a situation which only leads to sterile victimism or personalism for the development and multiplication of the anarchist struggle.
