Athens, Greece: INCENDIARY ATTACK ON THE HOUSE OF RETIRED COPS by Andreas Baader Cell

Athens: INCENDIARY ATTACK ON THE HOUSE OF RETIRED COPS.

We take responsibility for the incendiary attack on the house of retired cop Fotis Theodoros in Kaisariani Aarea, at 5 Manoliassas Street. We were very pleased to learn in the days that followed that a second retired cop lived in the same building.

The reason for this attack was the State murder of Kostas Fragoulis by the uniformed garbage of the DIAS cops team. Once again, the agents of the State apparatus murder in cold blood, but this time, as last year with Nikos Sabanis, race became the main issue in the political and social arena. As anarchists we do not need to analyse our position, it is clear. But we ought to recall that this is not a random incident but a manifestation of the wider war that is being waged doggedly by the State and capitalism against the oppressed of this world and especially against those who dare to question their sovereignty. We are taking a stand in this war and declare that we will walk through your homes and over your dead bodies.

It is not fitting for the flame of a candle to be lit over a young grave, whole States should be in flames. C.C.F. (for the murder of A. Grigoropoulos)

Shortly after the murder of Kostas Fragoulis, the EL.AS issued a text to all cops, explaining how to be careful and how to avoid or manage attacks either while on duty or in their homes. The attacks in Syggrou Ave, Patras, Zografou and now here have shown once again how important our organizing is and how willpower humiliates the stupid plans of the State. Here we have to mention that the target was chosen by chance, mainly because of its location, that is, within a stone’s throw from the YMET headquarters, and basically approached-and-left and nobody bothered us.

The second reason for the action (apart from the targeting of the cops anyway) was, as the comrades in the attack in Zografou put it, the attack on the doctrine of “law and order” which the Southwest has made their policy from the beginning, hoping for it to be transformed again into thousands of votes by their stooges. We don’t want to say anything else, the rest is well known and well said, we prefer to put it into practice. Let the results of our actions speak!

Strength and solidarity to comrade Alfredo Cospito who is on hunger strike and the Italian state chooses to murder him.

Solidarity to all political prisoners.
