Clandestine humanitarian

Chatting in pleasant company during a dedicated theme evening, it had been assumed that the institutional solution to get out of the cul de sac into which the established order has stubbornly slipped while awaiting entry into play of Cartabia [ex-minister of justice] (another wild card that could possibly be used) with dignity (in their opinion), could only lean towards a humanitarian one. To save ass and face without putting the failure of the hard line and the power of the State in question, in the hope that it will work, downplaying responsibility and guilt and illustrating pietas to gain points now in free fall, at least in the eyes of outsiders.

The entry of the fire brigade was quite obvious given the incorruptibility of Alfredo; the issue was the timing, a petty battle that will presumably be taken to the extreme in order to build the possible above-mentioned construction by not asking the right questions and allowing the facial plasticity of all the institutions involved, who are now struggling to stay afloat in that sea they had deluded themselves into thinking they were damming up and which is becoming more and more impetuous.

Today newspapers inform us that another collection of signatures bearing 38 names of distinguished firefighters of the last hour has been forwarded to Carlo Nordi and to the government to ask for a “gesture of humanity and courage” for Alfredo.

They are called firemen because they normally operate to put out fire, and this is no exception, fire that should not be necessary to enlighten consciences about the filth of the prison world and the nefariousness constituted by the 41 bis, life imprisonment and life without appeal; sad to see that it is necessary to shine a light on a question of logic, given that justice is based on deductive systems.
All of today’s articles are lavished with the list of prominent signatories, starting with the president emeritus of the constitutional court and former minister of justice Giovanni Maria Flick, followed by prosecutors, magistrates, judicial police, philosophers, intellectuals and priests, all together passionately moved by humanitarian pietas.

I hope this news takes a while to reach Alfredo because along with the joy of shedding light on State secrets I assume there would be stomach cramps that would add to the already critical state of health.

An article from “Il Foglio” stands out, diametrically opposed to that written about 10 days ago, in which title the ‘unspoken about Cospito’ that the newspaper feels duty bound to illustrate to the people in that Cospito is no longer a saint.

As already noted, the previous article undoubtedly created considerable turmoil and embarrassment by writing of solidarity with the anarcho-insurrectionists as well as with Cospito and describing correctly justice for what it is, fallacious and disproportionate, as well as highlighting an interesting anecdote concerning the operation Scripta Manent: must have spoken to the director, who quickly fell into line.

«Laying down one’s life as a gesture of protest takes precedence over the gravity of the crime committed which neither disappears nor diminishes, but must take second place, a necessary step to save a life and to initiate a change in the dramatic situation in which prisons and those locked up in them find themselves>>(“Il Fatto Quotidiano”);

interesting statements that from their mouths taste like rhetoric, from ours like terrorism, and this inevitably leads to raising a couple of doubts.

A glimmer of enlightenment comes to us from the questor of Turin Vincenzo Ciarambino, who in an effort to keep the leash on humanitarianism a little longer, brings up clandistinity; on the other hand, in order to keep up with the pace, he has also wanted to have his say on the buried alive who have been suffering this abomination for decades, calling them out, certainly not in terms of solidarity.

Ciarambino informs the anarchist area, in case it is not aware of it, that it is ‘being watched’, because it does not exclude the passage of certain elements from daylight demonstrations to clandestinity.
«It is a reality and a segment that we watch attentively because we do not exclude the passage from the public solution of the demonstration to the clandestine solution by come of the indivual subjects.» So the questor Vincenzo Ciarambino, in the press conference at the start of the year, questioned about the anarchist demonstrations in solidarity to Alfredo Cospito, that took place also in Turin, where the appeal trial for the attack at Fossano is taking place.

«There is attention rather than alarm – explains the questor – because the anarchist component which in Turin has recorded actions that are unpredictable, barely predictable or difficult to predict. Like for example the attack on the carabinieri training school of Fossano for which Cospito claimed responsibility or the attack at the Crocetta with the classic technique of the double explosion to attract and then damage. Also recently explosive packages have been sent from Genoa to institutional figures of the prison administration». «Our attention continues – Ciarambino adds – , the anarchists are now demonstrating in the streets and trying to publicise what they consider to be the suffering of Cospito, who is presently under 41 bis».

«These are fringes that we do not exclude could pass from the activity of demonstrations in the street to underground activity with a few loose cannon elements that could carry out attacks on institutions that they consider responsible for this affair. We are paying attention to these events and trying to intercept any possible sign and danger.» The court of assizes of appeal, on the other hand, transmitting the documents of the Turin trial for the explosive packages of Fossano, maintains the thesis of the slight extent of the damage by explaining that the sanction treatment demanded by the general procurate the maximum sentence would be unconstitutional.
It should be pointed out to Ciambarino that we are not «publicising Cospito’s suffering», we are making it visible, the same as for the others, calling the “special” prison regimes by their name: Torture.
And we are not the only ones.
Regarding the above-mentioned doubts, and carefully analysing the questor’s thinking, certain elements seem quite interesting.
Ciambarino talks of actions that are unpredictable, barely predictable or difficult to predict and this goes in net contrast with the accusations for which Alfredo has been locked up in 41 bis: how can Cospito, labelled ideologue and undisputed leader of the anarchists, buried in cement for ages, launch directions to underlings for a way of acting that the same Ciambarino defines unpredictable?

His writings from prison have always been done in the light of day (euphemism), passing through censorship that some uniforms read, yet this “hierarchical organisation” transformed itself into … unpredictable actions; but if Ciambarino maintains that anarchist actions are unpredictable, it certainly can’t have been Alfredo to have “instigated” them from 41 bis, right?

Furthermore, if anarchists are also “loose cannon” (and it is precisely among the latter that there would be a risk of a passing into clandestinity), Ciambarino is implicitly stating that there is no organisation and no undisputed leader, right?
To complicate the judicial and police theorem, there is the fact that direct actions have significantly increased precisely since Alfredo has been in 41 bis and cannot communicate with the outside. A nice logical mess.

Oops, it’s time to bring out the strategy of tension again with its key word ‘clandestinity’: this is also a great stratagem for shifting the spotlight away from the accusatory edifice that is making the State float in shit.
In any case the questurin talk is not just about trying to influence the consultation and is not just intimidation; Ciambarino says it clearly: Alfredo’s determination has raised the bar and fear has changed sides.

But don’t blame us, the responsibility is all yours.
You have shown us a lot over these months, falling into ridicule in your eagerness to use the king abusing everywhere without calibrating the blows struck, heedless of the tragedy of which you are the ideologues, the instigators and the killers.

Here then comes the humanitarian card, your last resort, and not of Alfredo, after the crystal ball defied your premonitions.
The anarchists have always expressed direct action that has no leaders or bosses, claiming and taking responsibility for their actions.

Do it also you, if you are capable.
