Puente Alto (Chile): solidarity attack against a telecommunication antenna

It’s been 13 years since our comrade Mauricio Morales, el punky, left life on earth in the midst of an offensive he was waging with courage and will against the bastard executioners of the school of screws [in Chile, the gendarmería is the body of prison guards, T.N.]. Unfortunately, the explosive device he was carrying went off sooner than expected, with consequences that many already know. A hug to the punky and his actions from the depths of our irreducible spirit, as we find ourselves with him on different fronts: against prisons, kapital, speciesism and civilization.

It is on this last front, in response to the call in memory of the punky during this month of Black May, that we have decided to attack a telecommunications antenna of the company Entel, located on a hill in the municipality of Puente Alto, in the capital of the territory dominated by the Chilean State. We are and always will be against the advance of technology and the digitalization of our lives.

Their existence means the exploitation and devastation of the Mapu ñuke [mother earth, in the Mapuche cosmology, T.N.], the extraction of its minerals through the genocide of wild species for the disgusting goods that the warria [city, T.N.] needs to reproduce its cursed existence. Antennas like this destroy their natural environment, both when they are installed and during the recurring maintenance work they require. In addition, a world overloaded with electromagnetic waves is producing unknown effects on different beings through these antennas and new technologies like the 5G network. We are not scientists and we do not pretend to prove their harmfulness, but the invitation of our instinct to destroy them is enough for us.

We know the winkul [mountain, T.N], we are not and will never be strangers to the wild and free life that inhabits it. We identify with the insects, the earth, the plants, the animals, the birds. We take flight as they do and direct our sight at the target. We attack without hesitation, claiming with dignity destruction and sabotage against power, its authorities and the spiral of the domination which spreads thanks to murderous civilizing progress. We studied the place, we understood the risks of the actions in nature, so we made sure that the necessary firewalls were in place not to affect the wildlife. And so, in an act of coherence and thanks to an incendiary device with a delay, all the electrical connections of the antenna were destroyed by the restless fire of our free piukes [hearts, T.N.]. The company is still not able to resume its activities in the area, which fills us with joy.

Our proposal is the proliferation of all actions of total liberation, defense and conservation of the land, rivers, lakes, seas, hills, forests and all beings living in balance, through autonomy and weichan [the struggle, T.N.]. We do not allow ourselves to be fooled by these lukewarm spiritless legalist-reformist-democratic times, which place their hopes in the moral character of the exploiters of the earth. We call on the brothers and sisters of the pikun Mapu [lands north of Santiago, T.N.] to take a stand and make their imagination take flight in defense of the foothills and island hills of this part of the territory that still resist the onslaught of prison-civilizing-capitalist society. Any action is possible with study, organization, courage, tenacity, willpower and taking care of ourselves. Let our patience not be passive, but rather the correct planning of the offensive.

We salute with complicity all the active cells and street actions that have awakened memory these last months, strong and proud as we are of the dialogue that is established through action.

We also echo the call for the release of Marcelo Villarroel, we also act in solidarity and against the sentences of despicable military justice.
