On Monday 23/5 comrade C. Michailidis started a hunger strike for his release. After 8.5 years of imprisonment, the comrade remains incarcerated as according to the Amfissa Plenary Council, he does not meet the “essential” conditions for release.
Essentially, the State is creating a regime of exception for political prisoners, attempting to neutralize those who are struggling and at the same time suppress any form of anarchist action.
