Action claim by queers (and) anarchists

The outcome of Zackie’s murder did not come as a surprise. On the contrary, it filled us with more anger, it made it clear to us again that the state is against us and wants us dead. We are under constant threat whether the killers are within or outside. We are under no illusions that the state protects us, only we create the conditions for our self-protection from our oppressors.

Not only does the state not exist to protect us, but it is the institution that (re)produces patriarchy, heteronormativity and property, among other things. These are the manifestations of the culture of power that armed Demopoulos and Hortarias, and arm the hand of any would-be assassin who feels they can exercise power over queer bodies that have no value in society’s sizable heteropatriarchal matrix. Queer bodies, like all oppressed bodies: drug addicts, immigrant(s), Roma, women, disabled, workers, in this society count for less than a pane of glass.

Among the killers are the cops Rousakos, Alexandris, Seferis and Chobanis. It is in these and all cops that our anger crystallises, as they are the ones who act as the executive arm of the state, reproducing and intensifying its repressive structures: the police are a repressive institution based on patriarchy, imposition, racism and hierarchy. They will continue to be on the streets, since there are no good and bad cops but only actors who reproduce and maintain power. We do not forget Nikos Sambanis, Alexis Grigoropoulos, Empouka, Vassilis Maggos, the countless migrants murdered at the borders whose names we never knew. This is not the first time the cops have murdered and that is why they will always find us in their sights.

So we decided on Friday night 6/05/22, to carry out an attack on the parked cops riot unit  forces on Ch. Trikoupis. We chose this way of action as one of the many means of struggle that we use to overthrow the system that murdered Zaki and every Zaki, for the queer uprising and social revolution.

IN OMONOIA SO WHAT IF THERE WAS A ROBBERY, COPS AND BOSSES DID THE KILLING

OUR STATE MUST DIE, FOR ZAKI NOT TO FALL INTO OBLIVION

RAGE AND SADNESS – WE’RE GONNA MISS ZAKI

Queers (and) anarchists
