AGAINST THE CIES, THE NATIONS, THE BORDERS AND THE SYSTEM THAT PERPETUATES THEM
On May 17, 2021, a geopolitical conflict between the Spanish and Moroccan states led to the opening of borders in Morocco, with the consequent crossing of people under inhumane conditions on the border beaches between the two countries. In response, the Spanish State increased its military presence in Ceuta, carrying out hot returns and other humiliating treatment, reducing people to mere merchandise. On August 30 of this year, due to military and economic interests, an unsustainable situation has been generated in Afghanistan forcing people to leave the country.
These are clear examples of the role of democracy and capitalism in the management of our lives, through the development of infrastructures, control of population flows, treaties, laws and borders. All this generates an important business that seeks to control the oppressed populations and use them for their miserable self-dealing and political games.
Part of this framework, the infrastructures developed by the state are the CIES (centers for the internment of foreigners). The CIES serve the function of storing migrants in order to ensure their deportation, that is, an infrastructure developed to deprive people of their freedom for the fact of being foreigners, this being the culmination of the racist violence that the democratic system exercises in order to maintain the established order. In short, the CIES are a euphemism for prison, since both CIES and prisons are inserted under the same democratic logic: the repression of oppressed people in favor of the interests of the oppressors.
Therefore, we consider it necessary to oppose the existence of these infrastructures and all this framework that only aims to turn us into merchandise for their control and business. We want to show our solidarity with all the people who are locked up, to break the monotony imposed by these walls, to show the conditions in which they find themselves and the whole network and business that these prisons hide. We want them not to be forgotten. We want to transmit to them that they are not alone and to their guardians, that they do not feel unpunished.
We do not want the situations that are occurring at the borders, in the CIES, in the racist raids and in the precariousness to which this system condemns us oppressed people on a daily basis. We do not want these situations to be forgotten, nor do we want to forget the various revolts and riots that have occurred in the CIES and the shows of solidarity that have been given from outside, because it is necessary to continue agitating and fighting since silence, obedience and inaction make us accomplices of a social structure that needs racism and other oppressions to stand.
LET THE PRISONERS GO OUT, LET THE CIES BURN!
CONTRA LOS CIES, LAS NACIONES, LAS FRONTERAS Y EL SISTEMA QUE LOS PERPETÚA
El 17 de mayo de 2021, un conflicto geopolítico entre el Estado español y el marroquí daba lugar a la apertura de fronteras en Marruecos, con el consiguiente cruce de personas bajo condiciones inhumanas por las playas fronterizas entre ambos países. Como respuesta el Estado español incrementaba la presencia militar en Ceuta realizando devoluciones en caliente y demás tratos vejatorios reduciendo a las personas a mera mercancía. El 30 de agosto de este mismo año, debido a intereses militares y económicos, se ha generado una situación insostenible en Afganistán obligando a las personas a abandonar el país.
Estos son claros ejemplos del papel que cumplen la democracia y el capitalismo en la gestión de nuestras vidas, mediante el desarrollo de infraestructuras, control de flujos poblacionales, tratados, leyes y fronteras. Todo ello genera un importante negocio que busca controlar a las poblaciones oprimidas y utilizarlas para sus miserables egociaciones y juegos políticos.
Parte de este entramado, las infraestructuras desarrolladas por el estado son los CIES (centros de internamiento de extranjeros). Los CIES cumplen la función de almacenar personas migrantes con el fin de asegurar su deportación, es decir, una infraestructura desarrollada para privar de libertad a personas por el hecho de ser extranjeras, siendo ésta la culminación de la violencia racista que el sistema democrático ejerce con el fin de mantener el orden establecido. En definitiva, los CIES son un eufemismo de cárcel, pues tanto los CIES como las cárceles se insertan bajo la misma lógica democrática: la represión de las personas oprimidas en pro de los intereses de lxs opresores.
Por ello, consideramos necesario oponernos a la existencia de estas infraestructuras y todo este entramado que solo pretende convertirnos en mercancía para su control y negocio. Queremos mostrar nuestra solidaridad con todas las personas que se encuentran encerradas, romper la monotonía impuesta por estos muros, evidenciar las condiciones en que se encuentran y todo el entramado y negocio que estas cárceles esconden. Buscamos que no queden en el olvido. Queremos transmitirles que no están solxs y a sus guardian guardianeses, que no se sientan impunes.
No queremos las situaciones que se están dando en las fronteras, en los CIES, en las redadas racistas y en la precariedad al que este sistema nos condena a las personas oprimidas en el día a día. No queremos que estas situaciones sean olvidadas, como tampoco queremos olvidar las diversas revueltas y motines que se han dado en los CIES y las muestras de solidaridad que se han dado desde fuera, pues es necesario continuar agitando y luchando ya que el silencio, la obediencia y la inacción nos hacen cómplices de una estructura social que necesita del racismo y del resto de opresiones para mantenerse en pie.
