There is no need for further recommendations. The implacable struggle of the revolutionary Dimitris Koufondinas continues on its 64^th day and proceeds from the necessity it started off from. A necessity that intensifies and strengthens as the government of Néa Dimokratía persists in and maintains an intransigent position, intending to kill him. The State’s brutality, its intransigence, isn’t only aimed at his death but far more at the extermination and definitive disintegration of the revolutionary perspective and combative dignity embodied in the figure of the revolutionary D. Koufondinas.

For a week we’ve been seeing with anger the State’s endless revenge, which changes between alternate declarations at times oozing false optimism and at others the cold brutal intention of extermination. But surprise is a luxury we can’t afford. It is obvious that you are trying to abdicate your responsibilities, but however you try to shake off any liability for an imminent death, the responsibility will be yours alone, it will have your signature. We are sure that from our struggle, here and now, revenge will pour out, while your power will lie among the ruins of the history you have chosen, and for the first time life will triumph over death.

Those who blindly apply the law, those who serve the appetites of power, are co-responsible and complicit in state repression, murder and arbitrariness. From border guards who beat up and persecute migrants to judges and prosecutors who carry out the orders of authority and condemn prisoners to darkness, crushing the basic rights conquered by the struggle, to any policeman who takes power as a manager and violently suppresses those struggling for collective freedom. There are many examples of impunity for policemen, from beatings, torture and kidnapping to the murder of fighters who according to what is reported fired their own weapons, defended themselves while under attack and took their revenge. We are not surprised by the impunity for policemen of course, as the verdicts of “justice” don’t surprise us at all.

AT THIS MOMENT HOPE ENDS AND TACTIC BEGINS

We are here to make the sleep of those responsible uneasy, the sleep of those who build their lives on exploitation and injustice. Because injustice is not anonymous, it has a name and address. For all these reasons, in the night of Friday 26^th February [2021] we carried out an incendiary attack on the home of a policeman in Papaioannou 17, Sykies [in the suburbs of Thessaloniki], and inform you that this is just the beginning. It is an example of what will follow if fighter D. Koufondinas suffers something worse and irreversible. To start with, we are giving back a little of the violence we receive every day from the bastards in uniform and we promise you that the tension will increase.
