Julian Franz has been an active and violent neo-Nazi for many years. Several times in the past, he was part of fascist marches to right-wing acts of violence.
For example, most recently in July 2020, when several young people were attacked by organized fascists in front of the Erfurt State Chancellery.
Furthermore, Julian Franz was in the group of 300 neo-Nazis, NaziHools and fascists who attacked the Leipzig district of Connewitz on January 11, 2016. In the process, numerous catering establishments, commercial premises and residents were attacked.
Responsible for the attack is a supra-regionally organized network of militant fascists, to which Julian Franz belongs.
