17th March, Cambridge UK

“HIT REPORT. This morning, a group of activists in Cambridge broke the windows and spray painted the office building at 50 – 60 Station Road near the rail station. They sent us this explanation.

Why did we choose this anonymous-looking building? Because as soon as it was built, it was occupied by several of the worst enablers of fossil fuels and ecocide. So who are we talking?

EVERSHEDS SUTHERLAND – a law firm that has represented Shell, Chevron and BP, among others [1]. They specialise in injunctions against protestors, including recently assisting Esso in suppressing climate activists [2]. They were recently targeted by activists from HS2 Rebellion for their work on HS2 [3].

Ile-de-France: four sabotages of concrete plants

Ile-de : four sabotages of concrete plants

Paris-Luttes, 7 April 2023

During the night of March 8th to 9th, we broke into 4 different concrete plants among the 50 or so in the Ile-de-France region with the aim of causing damage.

We want to attack the concrete plants because they produce the basis to build prisons, administrative detention centers and to extend the metropolis and its policing, from the infrastructures of the JOP 2024 to the Grand Paris. They make imprisonment possible and profit directly from it. We want to harm them and if the damage we inflict on them is minimal, at least that’s something.

Responsibility claim for the attack on the head of the Prison Control Inspectorate by Direct Action Cells – ‘Cell Katerina Goulioni’ (Athens,Greece)

Direct Action Cells take responsibility for the attack with a low-power incendiary/explosive device at the home of the head of the Inspection and Control Corps of Detention Facilities and Deputy Prosecutor of Appeals Spyridoula Presveias at 13 Solomou Street in the area of Glyfada, in the early hours of 1/4.

——————————————————————————

We are sending a clear message to prison prosecutors, prison wardens, prison officers, managers, directors, social workers who choose to treat prisoners as second-class citizens. Who choose to play dirty political games on their backs. Who become agents of the Ministry of Civil Protection in order to advance themselves and their careers. Gather round because you will find us in front of you. The prosecutor we targeted is the head of the institution responsible for the internal control of prisons and is directly responsible for all the injustices suffered by prisoners, especially after the passage of the new penal and new prison code.

Spyridoula Presveias as the head of the Prison Inspection and Control Corps (ΣΕΕΚΚ) is the person whose responsibilities concern the most authoritarian parts of anti-crime policy. He was appointed by the (former) secretary general of anti-crime policy Sophia Nikolaou, a failed New Democracy politician and declared enemy of prisoners, who a few years ago did everything in her power to try to murder the communist revolutionary Dimitris Koufontinas.

New cell searches

The “scrutiny” of me, from the Prison Administration (and/or the investigating judge?), continues. More reprisals for my hunger strikes? Who knows…

In any case, on February 14 there was a third search of my cell (after those of December 6 and January 9). Around 7:30 pm the ERIS arrived with helmets, hoods and shields. There were about a dozen of them, one officer was holding papers in his hand, on the top I could see my picture. Our cell was the only one in this wing that was searched (but they had a dog in the corridors), two others were searched in another wing, I don’t know about the other buildings. There was the warden, Michael Merci, and the deputy warden watching, beyond the glass doors. As soon as they took me and my cellmate (who had been here in the building for only a week) out of the cell, we were handcuffed and taken to the shower room on the first floor for the usual strip search. We were locked in the showers for the two hours that the search of our cell lasted. They found a cell phone with its charger. On Tuesday 21 March, I went to the disciplinary board. As a punishment, for 30 days my ability to access the canteen is suspended.

On March 30, it was the same thing again. The ELACs arrive and the story restarts.

DDM- NATHALIE SAINT AFFRE INCENDIE GRDF CHEMIN DE LA MARCAISSONNE PLUSIEURS VEHICULES BRULES

When we see the planet drying up and the repression that hits us, we could think that everything is lost, that everything is vain.
Maybe it is. Maybe there will be no great victories. Maybe it is already too late. Maybe by opposing the destruction of the living and of our own lives we will end up suffering even more. Maybe one day this world will be nothing but a huge desert.

Perhaps, lots of perhaps.

But there are also certainties. The identification of those responsible for the disaster. And above all, against them, hatred. A hatred that only wishes to come to life. Otherwise it eats me up from the inside.
So I let it express itself with a 10-liter can of gasoline in the night of March 30 to 31 in Toulouse on a GRDF parking lot.

Athens, Greece: Expropriation of Supermarket by Anarchists

Athens: Expropriation of Supermarket by Anarchists

extract from the action flier:

On Wednesday 5/4/23 we chose to expropriate products from the AB Vassilopoulos chain in the area of Zografou.

Capitalism’s ease in creating ephemeral consumption needs is one reason it can be assimilated into any social condition, which is what makes it so durable. However, although this condition is often found in our daily lives, we cannot ignore the fact that some of our needs are pushed aside as we are forced to feed ourselves with low quality products while our class opponents have access to better products, which has a direct impact on our overall quality of life.

Greece: Thanos Chatziaggelou – From Greece to Chile Anarchy is a trial, not on trial

Letter of the imprisoned member of Anarchist Action Th. Chatziaggelou to the Chilean imprisoned comrades Monica Caballero and Francisco Solar in view of their trial on May 19

…without a trace of remorse

Anarchy does not bend. It stands proud and unscathed. It travels like waves in the most turbulent seas, hiding its will and rage. It does not swerve, it does not evade. It walks wholeheartedly into the fire and burns to purify the fragmentation of human dignity. It finds temporary refuge in every battle for absolute freedom. It bleeds, is broken, dies and is reborn again and again, giving an endless nightmare to its tyrants.

Anarchy does not bow down. It stands disobedient before the executioners of freedom. It defends its entity under the blade of the political-ideological guillotine even in the most suffocating environment. Dedicated to its historical weight, it leaves its mark indelibly on time to arm new uncontrollable armies of disobedient minorities. It does not give up, it does not repent. It does not diminish and is not silent in the face of subjugation and exploitation. It rises up.

March 29: Day of the Young Combatant Report-Back

“Nothing changed in terms of the targeted repression that began to be applied to those who did not want to submit to the transition and to the itinerary of Pinochet’s constitution (…) How much young blood was still to be shed in this last year of dictatorship and in the years to come of police democracy of the Concertación*”
– Hans Niemeyer, 2015

On March 29, a demonstration was held to commemorate the Day of the Young Combatant, 38 years after its origin [1]. Historically, this date has brought together thousands of people in different parts of the territory who gather, generally, to denounce the dictatorial legacies of the Pinochet regime, extended by the rearrangement of the transition to democracy and, specifically, to give life to the memory of anarchist and subversive combatant youth.

Over time, this day has changed, although always characterized by street confrontations against the institutions of the police: “(…) in its first epoch, Maricio Maigret, Paulina Aguirre and the Vergara Toledo brothers, all militants of the MIR, were remembered. With the passing years, this date has come to incorporate new faces and names of youth who have died in the struggle against capitalism and power: Sebastián Oversluij, who died during a bank expropriation in Pudahuel. Mauricio Morales, attacking the military academy with a bomb. Claudia López, while participating in the barricades during a September 11th demonstration in La Pincoya. Jhonny Cariqueo, killed by a police beating on March 29, 2008. Jacier Recabarren, rebellious child who died in a transit accident.” [2]

Saint-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique): sabotaging the juice of the oil site (France)

Saint-Nazaire : near the oil depot, an electrical cabinet destroyed by an arson

An electrical cabinet was destroyed by an arson attack during the night of Monday 3 to Tuesday 4 April 2023, near the oil depot of Donges (Loire-Atlantique).

Around midnight, pallets and tires were set on fire near rue de Brigantin, which leads to the strategic oil site of the SFDM [Société Française Donges-Metz, specialized in the transport and storage of petroleum, and owner of the Donges fuel depot, which was evicted by the cops on March 29], regularly blocked as part of the movement against the pension reform.

Sainte-Soline (Benefit EP)

On Saturday 25 March in Sainte Soline (France), our comrade Serge was hit in the head by an explosive grenade during the demonstration against
the water basins. In spite of his state of absolute emergency, the
prefecture knowingly prevented the emergency services from intervening in a first time and to engage his transport in an adapted care unit in a second time. He is currently in neurosurgical intensive care. His vital prognosis is still engaged. Another comrade, Mickael, was hit in the throat by an LBD shot and had to undergo delicate brain surgery. Others lost an eye, a foot, a hand, their hearing, etc. There were 200 injured after an hour of confrontation with the cops.
