In this case, the Marseille Gendarmerie’s Research Section was reinforced by the SDAT (Anti-Terrorist Subdivision) […] under the vague notion of “extreme violence”. The means at their disposal are considerable — telephony, wiretapping, physical surveillance, spyware, facial recognition, GPS tracking, etc.
Surveillance and surveillance countermeasures: this text deals with options, risks and countermeasures. It is based on research, personal accounts and inside information, as well as a few publications on this subject.
Loire: the authorities are concerned about sabotage against the power grid
An electricity pylon sawn down, the mayor of Roche-la-Molière worries about “ecoterrorism”
Le Progrès, December 26, 2023
Since November 1, when a fire broke out at the Volvon RTE substation in Saint-Bonnet-les-Oules, the Loire department has been facing a new kind of threat. Although the incident caused no immediate harm, the Gendarmerie’s investigation quickly confirmed its criminal nature, as traces of an accelerant were found on site.
Barely three weeks later, on November 20, an extra-high-voltage pylon operated by RTE on the Bessy plateau in Roche-la-Molière was sawed down. As the police took charge of the initial formalities, the event was linked to the fire at the beginning of the month and to another act of mischief in the Puy-de-Dôme region. The Gendarmerie’s research section in Lyon then took charge of the case. Continue reading Loire, France : the authorities are concerned about sabotage against the power grid→
Train traffic between Marseille and Toulon interrupted due to sabotage
Figaro/La Marseillaise, January 15, 2024
This sabotage is costing users of SNCF’s southeastern rail network dearly. This Monday morning, train traffic was severely disrupted between Marseille and Toulon. Several cables were set on fire between the two stops served by TER trains, momentarily cutting off rail traffic for several hours.
The alarm was sounded at around 5:30 am. A “cable artery” that ensures the smooth running of the rail network had been “set on fire” between La Pomme and Marseille-Blancarde. “It’s not our installations that have caught fire, the fire is deliberate”, explains the SNCF, referring to “an act of malice”. The police also took fingerprints and noted the damage.
Last Monday, the zealous mouthpieces of the Bavarian prefecture were a little disoriented in their reports of the Sunday news. Whereas the first weekend of December had been marked by snowfalls that temporarily blocked rail and air traffic in Munich, the following weekend saw heat spikes that were as sudden as they were unusual. The fires were anything but accidental, and came at the very beginning of winter, putting a number of structures of domination out of action.
Without an image, without a word, and in three different places: in the Forstenrieder forest to the south-west of the city, in the Perlach forest further south, and also right in the middle of Munich, under a bridge spanning the Isar river. In the first two cases which were a bit more rural, as one major regional newspaper put it, “it would be a huge coincidence if two heavy, bulky and expensive forestry machines far apart from each other were to catch fire at the same time due to technical faults”. In each case, it was a tree feller – a machine costing 500,000 euros apiece to cut, delimb and chop down trees in no time at all – that went up in flames under the stars.
Territorial Action by Matías Catrileo Propaganda Group
On January 6 in the Las Araucarias, Los Copihues neighborhood we, the Matías Catrileo Propaganda Group, carried out a territorial takeover, moving in the neighborhood that marked 54 years since its creation under the name Popular Unity Occupation. We gave out pamphlets, zines and information that highlight the importance of direct action and territorial self organization as valid and necessary means to retake our lives, just as Matías taught us.
There are many examples across history that show us how, from a place of autonomy and direct action, that create other ways of inhabiting this world in the here and now. Land occupations constitute one of the most effective forms to solve, in a direct way, a problem as large as access to housing, as well as empowering the revolutionary struggle, creating fertile spaces to carry out revolutionary processes.
On January 3 in different parts of the territory controled by the State of Chile, barricades were raised and confrontations took place in a new commemoration (No.16) of the comrade Matías Catrileo, who in a context of territorial recuperation and reclamation, was assassinated in the ex-plantation Santa Margarito by lance corporal Walter Ramírez Inostroza.
Milan,Windows of the estate agency RE/MAX smashed in solidarity with the Palestinian people the night between the 23rd and the 24th of January we smashed the windows of a Re Max estate agency in Milan.
The Re Max estate agents is an accomplice of the Israeli occupation in the Palestinian territory, selling houses in the settlements, with its business affairs in the territories stolen from the Palestinian people it is extracting profit and staining itself with blood.
The companies that collaborate and support the Israeli apartheid are many and are present here in our city. Sabotage also starts from here! In the attack on the accomplices of Israel.
Brittany: the internet and telephone network is hanging by a thread
January 3, 2023: The situation on the West-Breton network at the end of the morning… after repairs began on the “vandalized” fiber optic cable
Internet and telephony: huge breakdown on Breton networks, act of vandalism reported France3/France Bleu/Le Télégramme, January 3, 2024
A giant blackout has been affecting Bouygues Télécom, SFR and Free since 3am on Wednesday January 3 in the four departments of Brittany. No internet connection, no telephone in Finistère, Morbihan and Côtes-d’Armor, or Loire-Atlantique, particularly in the Morlaix, Brest, Douarnenez, Concarneau and Quimper areas in Finistère, but also in Vannes and Lorient in Morbihan. Update from the Defense Actions of the Evacuated Anarchist Steki Utopia AD
February 8, 2024
A few hours after today’s evacuation of the Utopia AD Anarchist Steki, an open assembly was held in which a multitude of solidarity people were informed about the situation. As a first movement, a reflective march of 60 people poured into the city center, with a strong pulse and writing slogans. It should be noted that although the university security guards were instructed to call the police, the presence of police forces was non-existent throughout the protests.
The march ended outside the vacated hangout, where the next moves were discussed. We believe that the evacuation of the place is a continuation of the state attack on the occupied law school and the bringing in of 18 students, of which 12 turned into arrests. The main people responsible for the repressive operations are the rector Fotis Maris and the dean of the law school, Michalis Chrysomallis. Neither of them, however, has so far taken responsibility for the organization of the above actions.
We, on the one hand, call on the rector’s authority, if it has a trace of dignity, to stop shifting its responsibilities elsewhere, on the other hand, we assure that we will not choose the path of silence

Paint against a company that does projects for borders
by Vandals against borders
The Greek state has completely systematized racism. The institutional form of racism dominates the public sphere in ways and practices fed by a particular audience. Thus racism is adopted by states and unfolds through their institutions. Even fascist practices that have always run parallel with the state are being so faithfully implemented by the latter in many cases that even fascist groups are taking on new forms.
Institutionalized violence against migrants includes concentration camps, border killings, pushbacks, asymmetric border “wars” (such as the Evros border). Racism and xenophobia are not just current phenomena, but have existed in the Greek state for many decades. Nevertheless, as we see globally, the intensity of the war against immigrants has intensified and deepened. On the one hand, labour needs are changing compared to other decades, but on the other, having broken whatever social contract that may have existed in the past, states are present to provide repression, policing and national ideology. These days, nostalgia strikes, longing for that enveloping air of the streets upon awakening in these cells. It’s already going on 12 months since the GOPE kicked down different doors of the various spaces in which we moved or had entered at some point.
From the bottom of our hearts, we lament that the bastard police exposed those beautiful little beings to so much violence, and that their eyes saw their despicable uniforms and weapons that were at the ready when they found and captured Aldo, so far the only one accused for the explosive attack against the National Directorate of Gendarmerie of $hile, and Lucas, accused for possession of various weapons and explosives.
When the proletarian youth from the neighborhoods of the city suburbs bow their heads and resign themselves to being cheap labor, they don’t call the attention of Power. They are handled with labor regulations (when the work is more or less formal), and/or are seen as the object of certain social policies that mix control with handouts.
When they dedicate themselves to petty economic delinquency to subsist, and become thiefs, shoplifters, low-level dealers or any other variant of the so-called “common criminal”, they are responded to with police, Penal Code and prison. When young people come from these same sectors, structurally marginalized by the capitalism of our time, they obtain certain class consciousness; when they rebel against exploitation with weapons in hand, they are always candidates for being labeled “terrorists”. Them! When they’ve done nothing but react with the most human dignity possible faced with systematic and historically accumulated conditions of class violence dolled out from above by the true terrorists.
