Berlin, Germany : Arson attack on car of prison profiteer SPIE in solidarity with prisoners

Arson attack on car of prison profiteer SPIE in solidarity with prisoners
Wednesday night, March 23, we set fire to a car of the company SPIE in Prenzlauer Berg. SPIE participates internationally in the construction and operation of prisons and other facilities for the purpose of total surveillance and control. Educational institutions, parks, transportation infrastructure, and consumer strips become places of discipline under the electronic eyes and sensors of a mix of private and state security systems. Where people could organize and shape their own lives, where they could resist and simply take what they are not granted under capitalism, companies like SPIE are contributing to the technological assault. Too little is opposed when it comes to the enemies of freedom. Let’s burn down their cars, let’s paralyze their infrastructure!

Call to Action!
Anarchist Days in Leipzig (April 25th -May 1st 2022)

What drives us is the rage against the existing conditions.
Class society and neo-colonialism, Fortress Europe and the rise of fascism, patriarchy and white supremacy, pandemic and nationalised life – wherever we look, the world is sinking into the chaos of the ruling order. Every day we have to come to terms with the fact that the existing conditions are actually untenable. And that is often not easy for us. Yet at least some of our views are shared by far more people than we think possible.
Fighting with global inspiration where we live

Avtonom.org is now officially blocked in Russia

“Autonomous Action” (Avtonom) has always been a group that spreads anarchism in the Russian-speaking world. We don’t care about national borders. But no matter which states our activists are based, social change in Russia is very important to us.
In this regard, for many years we have tried to comply with Russian law as much as possible to avoid a full-scale blocking of avtonom.org and our social networks. Every year this became more difficult, the bans became more absurd, but we tried to remain unblocked. Now, when you can’t call a war a war, and you can’t be against it, these tactics don’t work anymore.

Russia/Ukraine: A Brief Overview of the Resistance to War

Brief overview of the Resistance to war in Russia and Ukraine
nowarsolidarite, April 2, 2022
(Article written by Russian anarchosyndicalists)
The current Russian-Ukrainian military conflict has led to a wild explosion of the most disgusting and cavernous nationalism on both sides of the front. In Russia, Power calls to “crush” the enemy, in Ukraine – to fight for the “motherland” to the last man. In both states, propaganda seeks to “dehumanize” the enemy as much as possible, and unfortunately, many ordinary citizens fall into this trap set by the leadership. Even many “leftists” and “anarchists” eagerly rush to support the bloodshed, intoxicated by the patriotic poison. Unfortunately, this is always the case at the beginning of wars waged by states. One need only recall the hysterical processions of the masses marching [shouting “To Berlin” or “To Paris”] on the eve and in the first weeks of World War I. Then several years of war passed – and [in 1917] the masses, exasperated by hardship, deceit and suffering – almost suppressed the world of the States and the Capital, which had given rise to that war … Now, alas, we are infinitely far from all that. Certainly, it also seemed very far in August 1914…
The actions of the people of Russia and Ukraine against “military operations”, hostilities, destruction and bloodshed, deserve all the more attention and respect. The month since the invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops already allows a brief overview of the main forms and methods of anti-war protests.

Responsibility claim for arson & incendiary attacks by Cells of Anti-Militarist Action – Another war is possible (Athens,Greece)

ANOTHER WAR IS POSSIBLE: CLASS, ANTI-STATE, REVOLUTIONARY.
We take responsibility for the arson attacks that took place from March 2 to 14 in areas of Athens. Specifically
At dawn on Wednesday 2/3 we set fire to and destroyed a company van of AKTORA in Chrysostomou Smyrnis Street in Vyronas. On 1/4/2021 in Evia, the bodies of 3 dead workers were found hanging on the DEI poles and thrown lifeless on the ground at an AKTORA construction site. The murdered workers of the class war are not included in any official statistics, many times they do not even have a name, nationality, age. They are mere fuel and legalized collateral damage. Only proletarian organization and revenge can keep alive the memory of the murdered workers and our class hatred against their murdering bosses. Giannis Carlatiras, 43 years old, George Toskas, 55 years old, and Alex Brouka, 45 years old. stand next to the names of Antonis Dellios, Stamatis Diplaris, Giritlis Tzihat and many other local and migrant workers, all of them murdered on AKTORA construction sites, in our own accounts, in our own memory.
Let us realize that the organization of class revolutionary anti-violence was not, nor is it, a secondary dimension of workers’ action. It is on organised proletarian counter-violence, on the destruction of capital’s proletarian elements and the targeting of its cadres, on the wildcat strikes, that not only any “bargaining power” of the exploited masses is based, but also their very unity in the fields of class warfare. It is the resistance and attack of the workers against the bosses that unites the Class, not the bargaining for the material conditions of its simple survival.

March 15th, 2022 – 26th Annual International Day Against Police Brutality ( Canada)

From the Collective Opposed to Police Brutality
The evening of March 15th, was the 26th annual protest against police brutality. 26 years of marching, 26 years of systematic repression by police brutality, like an annual tradition that leaves a bad taste in everyone’s mouth. The demonstrators decided to keep control of the sidewalks rather than be chased off the streets by violent and insulting police officers, and attacked the neighborhood’s worst businesses: Dollarama and the National Bank. Let’s remember that if Dollarama is a grocery store of last resort for the poor, it still sells unhealthy crap and is one of the worst companies in Quebec for abusing its workers. And on the other side, the National Bank is investing billions in several important oil projects. In the face of this self-defense of the poor against their oppressors, the police violently attacked the demonstration: truncheons, gas and beatings were the order of the day.

Ukraine: a technological war profiteer

Ukraine is using ClearView AI’s notorious facial recognition software
Le Temps (Switzerland), March 15, 2022
This is a surprise. Strongly criticized for its facial recognition system, the American company ClearView AI has recently started collaborating with the Ukrainian authorities. Its software should make it possible to identify Russians present on its territory, whether they are alive or dead. This rapprochement between the Ukrainian authorities and the New York firm was initiated by the latter which, according to revelations of the Reuters agency, offered its services for free to the country attacked by Russia.
Ukraine began Saturday to use the software ClearView AI, including to identify people at checkpoints. The goal is to identify Russians, presumably to unmask fighters infiltrating among civilians and wanting to engage in acts of sabotage. The director of ClearView AI, Hoan Ton-That, said that he will not offer his services to the Russian authorities. Continue reading Ukraine: a technological war profiteer

Russia – Partisan Attacks against Military Recruitment Centers

There are reports of new partisan attacks against military recruitment centers. Unfortunately, all the information we have now is given with references to cops’ channels.
Voronezh
On March 2 in the evening in Voronezh, near house #47 on 9th Yanvarya street an unknown person smashed a glass can with flammable liquid against the front door of the military registration and enlistment office for two city districts, after which he set fire and fled. The fire damaged part of the door, there were no victims. The partisan managed to escape. Unfortunately, the alleged arsonist’s face was caught on video surveillance cameras and the police are now trying to identify him.
Sverdlovsk region
On March 13, 2022, another arson was reported. According to the cops, a 25-year-old shop assistant of a computer store, protesting against sending conscripts to Ukraine, threw Molotovs into the door of the military registration and enlistment office building on Revolutsionnaya Street around 5 AM (the name of the settlement is not given, we understand it is Berezovsky). Unfortunately, the arsonist was detained and charged with attempted murder, since the watchman was in the building at the time. The watchman was not injured.

Chenôve (Côte-d’Or) : burning the police stations (France)

A car set on fire in front of the municipal police of Chenôve, the building very damaged
Le Bien Public/France 3, 12 March 2022
This Saturday, at 4:15 a.m., GIS security guards alerted firefighters to a vehicle fire near the entrance of the Chenôve municipal police department. The vehicle had been voluntarily abandoned at this location. The flames attacked the reception of the building which is now unusable. Outside, the damage was still visible in the middle of the morning, especially at the level of the entrance door which burned.
This municipal police station adjoins the town hall building and faces the central square of the town, a stone’s throw from the streetcar terminal. All this happened downtown. For several days now, Chenôve has been facing a new episode of urban violence. Yesterday, the mayor of Chenôve, Thierry Falconnet, explained to our colleagues on France Bleu Bourgogne that “15 cars have been burned in three nights”. 40 CRS were called in as reinforcements.

France: Surveillance camera found outdoors, and one about an audio surveillance device found hidden inside the printer-copier of the anarchist library Libertad in Paris.

A surveillance camera was found at the entrance of the village, pointed towards the home of an environmental activist. The camera, barely emerging from the ground, was covered with brambles and grass. It was connected to a Pepwave router and to two cases containing high-tech lithium batteries labeled Accuwatt, hidden in a ditch, under a tarp and a camouflage net.
The case has been added to our list of surveillance devices, which can be downloaded here.
Here are pictures of the device found:

Update about Anarchist prisoner Toby Shone (UK)

Actforfree received by email:
Justice for Anarchist Prisoner Toby Shone!
Anarchist prisoner Toby Shone is being held in the Category B facility HM Prison Parc, a privately run prison in South Wales, despite being in reality a Category C or D prisoner who was eligible for Release on Temporary License (ROTL) on 21 January 2022, according to paperwork he received on 26th March 2022. ROTL is home leave from prison in preparation for release. Category B prisoners are not eligible for home leave.
Despite being found Not Guilty of political offences in court and with no evidence linking him to the website and publication 325.nostate.net, Toby is being held without legal process and without possibility of
redress as a Category B, High Risk prisoner where he is not eligible for ROTL (home leave). A probation official told Toby previously that his categorisation is a consequence of his anarchist beliefs, and the fact that he is considered by the authorities to act on those beliefs. This decision has been taken at a level above the Offender Management Unit (OMU) which is the unit Toby personally deals with.

Call to Action: International Day Of Solidarity April 4th, 2022

On Dec 8, 2020 a group of seven people were arrested by the French state for alleged terrorist association. All but one of them have been released with no specific charges beyond ‘criminal conspiracy,’ a charge that can be used to enhance sentences and strip away rights. Libre Flot was transferred to solitary confinement days after his arrest and is the only one of those arrested still behind bars.
Throughout his incarceration, the French state has attempted to say that Flot’s actions of joining the liberatory struggle against the Islamic State is the same as those who traveled to Syria to join ISIS.
As of Feb 27, Flot began a hunger strike in protest of the 14-plus months of pretrial detention, the allegation that seven people who did not even know one another committed a conspiracy, and the attempts of the French state to assert that those who fought the Islamic State are no different than the ISIS members they opposed.
