As others did in Poitiers in August, we went to pay a visit to the l’Union Départementale des Associations Familiales (UDAF) of the area, in solidarity with the comrade Boris.

On the buildings of the UDAF 14, we wrote the following slogans in paint:

Since Boris’s arrest for the sabotage of the Mont Poupet relay antennas in the Jura, the judicial – and now medical – powers are working hard against him to silence his anarchist claims and destroy his life.

In recent years we have been experiencing a generalised attack on the neighbourhood of Exarcheia, with squat evictions, clearing operations and the attempt to impose a regime of police occupation on the neighbourhood.At the present time this attack is intensifying, with the assistance of Attiko Metro and the attempt to build a metro station in the square. The choice of the square for the construction of the station is a political and ideological choice of the municipal authority and the state, part of the broader strategy that has been expressed explicitly in recent years in the state’s counterattack against Exarcheia, a neighbourhood where resistance and struggle against exploitation and oppression has been territorialized both symbolically and practically.

The choice of the metro station in Exarcheia square is not based on the needs of the inhabitants for their movements – it could not be, as under the condition of class domination our movements are defined and organised in the metropolis by the state as the transport of the commodity work force. The choice of the station in the square is not based on the neighbourhood’s desires for the use of public/open space, but against them, seen as another opportunity to deploy hundreds of cops in the neighbourhood with the intention of destroying its only square, meeting place and political activity and handing it over to the interests of capital. On September 3, 2022, we set off an explosive artifact made with dynamite, gunpowder, ammonium sulfate, nitrates, phosphates and butane gas. This happened at approximately one in the morning at the Ricardo Flores Magón Police station located in Jaime Torres Bodet and Ciprés streets of the Santa María la Ribera neighborhood in the territory occupied by Mexico City.

We are anarchists. We repudiate that the Mexican Police dare to use the name of Ricardo Flores Magón, whom we consider an important reference of the internationalist anarchist struggle and who detested all kinds of government during his life, to appoint a station of the Mexican police repressors in Mexico City . We warn that we will burn the same station again and again until they stop staining his name in such an opprobrious way.

We also repudiate that the Government of Mexico use our comrade Magón in an attempt to make the imposition of its militarized government legitimate.

Attentively we have followed how the Greek state crushes demonstrations in the streets of Athens. The government of Nea Dimokratia and its judiciary have proven that in the hunger strikes of D. Koufontinas and G. Michailidis, they are ready to let prisoners die rather than give in one step. We know the videos of the lynching of Zak Kostopoulos with the participation of police officers. As well as the execution of N. Sampanis in Perama by DIAS is an expression of a ruthless regime, as is the murder of Vassilis Maggos in Volos. The blood drips from the hands of the Greek authorities.

The new junta thinks it is smart to use the August vacation period to start building the metro station in Exarchia. Their goal is to destroy every social base and occupy every place of resistance with troops. The evictions of squats in Thessaloniki and the police invasion of the university there have not escaped our attention either.

ANOTHER ANTI-ABORTION CLINIC ATTACKED — EASTHAMPTON, MA

In the early morning of August 18th, the Bethlehem House, an anti-abortion center in so-called Easthampton, MA, was paid a visit by community members who condemn its fascistic Christian, patriarchal violence toward pregnant people. The Bethlehem House hides behind a facade of “non-judgemental” and free resources for pregnant people, while working diligently to spread the anti-abortion agenda. They lie to and mislead pregnant people in order to prevent them from accessing abortions. Fuck CPCs and their coercive tactics that threaten medical and bodily autonomy.

The building, decked out with talking security cameras and motion activated lights, inspired fear. But after the first rush of nerves, we realized that it is not us that should be afraid, but them. The forced pregnancy center was decorated with brilliant red paint splatters. Words spray painted onto the sidewalk and benches nearby read, “If abortions aren’t safe, neither are you!” and “Jane’s Revenge.”

The horrors of war move sensitie souls. Instead, we are reminded that it is injustice that dominates this world. The mangled bodies are always those of the poor people, it’s never a rich man to die, to lose a hand.

We don’t think we can compete with the violence of the State, your capacity for destruction and death is unparalleled. In recent years you have shown that in Syria, in Iraq, today in Ukraine and we saw it with the torture and massacre in the Italian prisons in March 2020. We have not forgotten nor forgiven.

We cannot compete with your violence and we probably don’t even have the guts. Instead we believe in the need for revolutionary violence, in action that opens glimpses of freedom. We believe in the contagion of ideas that pass through actions.

Once again the Informal Anarchist Federation is becoming an instrument for revolutionary communication and the propagation of anarchist action. An instrument that all the comrades can adhere to, putting their own signature to FAI-FRI acronym, putting ourselves in communication without the dangers that come from direct knowledge. An instrument with which we can express ourselves, also dialgue and confront each other, in the knowledge that one is talking with comrades who have put their lives and therefore their freedom at risk. When the words are too many and the deeds that follow are few, it is up to us to invert this tendency.

In the early hours of May 27, we carried out an incendiary action against the Enjoy carpooling vehicles belonging to the multinational ENI s.p.a. (national hydrocarbon company) in the Tuscolana-Cinecittà area of Rome. According to local newspapers, 10 cars were completely destroyed, while four others were seriously damaged.

ENI has always been one of the pillars of Italian capitalism, and its interests coincide with those of the State and, consequently, of the governments that succeed one another in administering it, whether they are of the right or the left, because its profits and infrastructures are strategic insofar as they strengthen the State in which they are located, being fundamental for the preservation of economic power, in the contemporary configuration of the capitalist productive system.

ENI is present in many countries where local and international conflicts are active for the control of energy resources: Libya, Mali, Nigeria, Kazakhstan (note that not a word was heard against the oligarch Putin when he sent his troops to quell the uprisings that broke out in that country), to name but a few. In these places, energy in the form of fossil fuels has been extracted from the earth for decades to feed the energy needs of Western industry, in a pattern that takes the form of true neo-colonialism. These extractive activities, it should be remembered, carry great risks for the environment and indigenous populations, especially in countries where controls and safety systems are consciously minimized in order to maximize profits, as in the case of the Niger Delta, an area severely devastated by continuous crude oil spills and the dispersion of gases and combustion residues resulting from extraction activities into the air.

A fiery July in the Mapuche territories

On July 9, 2021 in Carahue (Chile), Pablo Marchant Gutiérrez was assassinated during an attack against vehicles of the company Forestal Mininco, subsidiary of the cellulose giant CMPC. The 29-year-old former anthropology student, who later joined the Mapuche struggle through CAM (Coordinadora Arauco Malleco), was participating in the burning of a minibus, a skidder and a tanker at around 5pm on the Santa Ana-Tres Palos estate, when he was shot in the head at close range by carabinieri charged with protecting the interests of the loggers. Following this police assassination, the whole Mapuche area was set ablaze for many weeks.

Today, one year after the death of Pablo Marchant, how do we think that comrades who fell during the struggle can be commemorated? By organizing marches where we sit with dignity on the ground in a stony silence? By organizing unitary demonstrations to wave their big flags in the wind between two conferences, while making sure that nothing can boil over, in the name of “dignity” and “memory”, of course? Or by multiplying dispersed attacks in order to continue the struggle, thus continuing to make their ideas live within it? In any case, this is what the decentralized groups of the CAM, called Territorial Resistance Organizations (ORT*), but also other Mapuche struggle groups and anonymous people, have chosen, with a multiplication of forest interests destroyed around this anniversary in different areas of the region.

WINNEMUCCA INDIAN COLONY USA DIRECT ACTION REPORT BACK

The Winnemucca Indian Colony, on Paiute and Shoshone land in so-called Winnemucca, Nevada, is under attack from self-appointed tribal chairperson Judy Rojo and her crooked council, none of whom even live on the colony or in Nevada. Judy is not recognized by the residents and elders of the Winnemucca Indian Colony. Although the colony was part of a forced removal project intended for “homeless Indians,” Judy Rojo charges the residents rent and began demolishing their homes and forcefully evicting them in November of 2021. The 20 acres of land where the WIC residents live today was purchased in 1928 by the government from the Central Pacific Railway. Many of the elders have lived on this land for decades and are second generation residents. Judy Rojo and her contracted goon, Bob McNichols of REZBuilders, have demolished 8 structures and homes on the colony so far without the consent of the residents.

Judy Rojo has also stolen 320 acres that has ‘legally’ belonged to the Winnemucca Indian Colony since 1918 under colonial law. She is building homes and a tribal building, which has not been approved by the colony residents. On the 320, Judy built and is using the Water Canyon Dispensary to steal and launder millions of dollars from WIC residents. The dispensary is currently expanding to increase their profits. This is a land grab. The identity of the non-native dispensary owner collaborating with Judy to launder money is unknown.
