On September 12 at the Liceo de Aplicación and Manuel Barros Borgoño pamphlets and banners were thrown and barricades and confrontations were mounted against the presence of Carabineros (COP).
At the Barros Arana Boarding School (INBA) a group of students marched to the Museum of Memory and Human Rights to commemorate those murdered and disappeared 49 years after the coup d’état.

Kassel,incendiary attack of the car park of the German army

On the night of Thursday to Friday of last week, two vehicles were completely burned in the district of Bad Willhelmshöhe in Kassel (Hessen region). The two cars that were completely destroyed by fire were two civilian vehicles belonging to the German army fleet, parked near the Bundeswehr technical school. The cops say the damage was in the mid-five figures. A small drop in the bucket compared to the huge sums currently being spent on rearmament.
Since all NATO member countries are required to spend at least 2% of their GDP on war preparations, spending on military and armaments products is skyrocketing in Europe. Since then, the German army has been subtly presented to us as an “antiquated troop, reduced to a pitiful size by cost-cutting” and “not fit for combat”. The aim is to convince the public that the huge investments in the military-industrial complex are justified and serve the security of Europe. When at the beginning of this year the war in Ukraine escalated again and the Russian ruling class sent its army to finish annexing the territories in the east of Ukraine that have been disputed for years, the calls for the necessary rearmament of Europe finally found complacent ears.

Hualqui: to make the power of this world explode
Sunday September 4, 2022, around 6 am, the same day when the Chilean population had to vote by referendum on the project of the new Constitution (the vote was obligatory), unknown persons placed four explosive charges on a high-tension pylon located in Hualqui (region of Bío Bío).
The pylon of the Hualqui-Lagunillas high-voltage line of the Transelec company collapsed to the ground, while two others were seriously damaged in its fall. According to the Chilean investigators, three charges did their job, while a fourth one failed, and the explosive used would be high density dynamite of mining variety.

In recent years we have been experiencing a generalised attack on the neighbourhood of Exarcheia, with squat evictions, clearing operations and the attempt to impose a regime of police occupation on the neighbourhood.At the present time this attack is intensifying, with the assistance of Attiko Metro and the attempt to build a metro station in the square. The choice of the square for the construction of the station is a political and ideological choice of the municipal authority and the state, part of the broader strategy that has been expressed explicitly in recent years in the state’s counterattack against Exarcheia, a neighbourhood where resistance and struggle against exploitation and oppression has been territorialized both symbolically and practically.
The choice of the metro station in Exarcheia square is not based on the needs of the inhabitants for their movements – it could not be, as under the condition of class domination our movements are defined and organised in the metropolis by the state as the transport of the commodity work force. The choice of the station in the square is not based on the neighbourhood’s desires for the use of public/open space, but against them, seen as another opportunity to deploy hundreds of cops in the neighbourhood with the intention of destroying its only square, meeting place and political activity and handing it over to the interests of capital.
