Reportback from some valve turners:

It is with a heavy heart and hazy skies we announce that 2 different pipeline valves were turned off along the Line 5 route on Anishinaabae land in the great lakes region.This was done on the 13th anniversary of the Kalamazoo River oil spill.This was the 2nd largest inland oil spill in amerikkkan history, dumping 1,000,000 gallons of tar sands crude oil into the river and causing untold damage to the water, land and those who live on it.

Currently, Enbridge is preparing to construct a concrete tunnel beneath the waters of the so-called Great Lakes to house a dual pipeline system in order to increase flow rates and carry even more tar sands from the lands of the north to refineries in the south.The Straits tunnel project is meant to replace a 70 year old pipe that is hastily secured to the bottom of the lake bed, even free floating in some areas.

Switch off!  – the system of destruction

About 20 people storm a construction site of the Coastal Gas Link pipeline in western Canada. They are armed with axes and flares, threaten employees, hijack heavy construction vehicles, destroy the site’s building and ultimately the vehicles themselves. The damage amounted to millions. That was almost a year ago. It is still unclear who sabotaged the construction of the pipeline in the province of British Columbia. Fracked gas was soon to flow through the pipeline, which runs right through indigenous land, to the West Coast, from where it would be shipped on to Asia.

A call…

Whether you occupy universities, schools, trees or streets. Whether you spend your nights worrying or sabotaging. Whether you strike or write about it.

The certainty that the current system will result in the collapse of the massively damaged ecosystem has already inspired countless people to resist. Tens of thousands are taking to the streets against the “business as usual” of the capitalist machinery, people are resisting the destructive large-scale projects en masse, the infrastructure of the system is being blocked and courageous fighters are setting fire to the machines that are being used to rob them of the very basis of life. What we need in the struggle against the destruction of nature and the resulting social misery is the shared pursuit of real revolutionary rupture and freedom of all. Pursuing an initiative that rejects all compromises and cosmetic corrections of the state and brings about a transformation of our social relations. Because the destruction of the planet by the neoliberal economic system is inextricably linked to patriarchal patterns of thought, racism and colonialism. The initiative for this must necessarily come from below. From the struggles of the excluded. From the struggles of those who enact a self-organized solidarity against the state’s promises of salvation. From the struggles of those who see that there can be no compromises in the fight against the systemic destruction of the biosphere.

We set off a firebomb under the Audi of Bremen’s Interior Senator Mäurer near his front door on Weidedamm in Findorff, Bremen on July 19, 2023.

It feels like Mäurer has always been the senator for the interior, but for at least 16 years his job has been the unscrupulous implementation of the murderous European and German refugee regulations in the area of the Hanseatic city of Bremen. He was recently reappointed as the city’s chief manhunter for another four years. During his long tenure, he is responsible for thousands of deportations, arrests and imprisonments with all kinds of consequences for those affected. He has always backed murderous cops, such as the killers of Qosay Sadam Khalef and Mohamed Idrissi.

[Switch Off The System] The Repression Against Climate Activists Will Not Go Unanswered

In recent months, the repression against climate activists in Germany has been permanently intensified. In the media coverage, the Last Generation (LG) in particular, gets the most attention. Investigations by the General Prosecutor’s Office in Munich for the formation of a so-called criminal organization, house searches, preventive detention for sit-in blockades, etc. Now the Berlin prosecutor’s office has announced that in the future, street blockaders will be tried with the so-called fast-track procedure. The Code of Criminal Procedure allows the judiciary to do this if the accusations against the accused are “suitable for immediate trial due to the simple facts or clear evidence”.

We understand the actions of the Munich and Berlin prosecutors as an attack on all activists of the climate justice movement, not only against the LG (Last Generation). Therefore, as a first reaction, during the night of July 9 to July 10, we targeted two BMW SUVs by means of an incendiary device and forced them into early retirement. This measure was suitable for immediate full retirement due to the simple facts of the case and the clear evidence (superfluous luxury cars and devastating CO2 emissions). We were inspired by the arson attacks of May 19 and July 4: E-vehicles of Stadtwerke München; a Tesla charging station + a Tesla + an electric mini.

To the people of Chile.

As a first point, as Movimiento 18 de Octubre we take responsibility for the three explosive attacks on capitalist infrastructure, sabotages carried out in Valparaíso by the Comando Mauricio Arenas Bejas, in Bío Bío by the Comando Lafkenche Pilmaiquen and in Ñuble by the Comando Luisa Toledo. The reasons are explained below.

A dark period is approaching in Chile, marked by an incipient fascism penetrating the masses, which today has positioned a conservative and backward right wing in charge of drafting the new constitution, which will govern the destinies of the country for the next decades or, failing that, will perpetuate the constitution emanating from the dictatorship. But how did we arrive at this scenario, less than four years after the beginning of the popular revolt that uncovered the structural abuses of this capitalist state, that mobilized millions in rejection of the AFP, the commercialization of health and education, the safeguarding of water for human life, the protection of the environment and the rejection of precarious work? Naturgy unlimitedly exploits the resources of the earth and drives the machinery of the capitalist system creating rivers and rivers of blood; Blood of the people of the plundered villages, the workers – those who protest and those who do not – even those who pay them unbearable prices to amass their wealth. For every euro they earn: one car less! It only takes a few household materials and arming ourselves with our well-deserved thirst for revenge to go out one night to cause damage.

On the fourth of july, 20 machines across 6 sites of the construction of the mountain valley pipeline were sabotaged, using a variety of means to render them inoperable. Machines are often left unguarded, and when they’re not, the security are just prats. It was easy and fun. We gave a big cheer when these machines were seen being hauled off the mountains back to the industrial hellscapes they come from.

“We are all doomed if our ugliness becomes a habit”

High prices. Poverty. Misery. War. Total capitalist onslaught. State assassinations. “Workers’ accidents”. Femicides. Anti-immigration policy.

The reality that we, the class and social lower strata are experiencing is characterized by an all-out attack by the state – capital – patriarchy against us. We are just one month from the state mass murder of hundreds of migrants in Pylos, four months from the state-capitalist crime in Tempe that was dubbed an accident, three years from the murder of our comrade Vassilis Maggos by the cops, the uniformed minions of power, in the city of Volos, targeted for his unquenchable militant existence.

At a time when people are losing their lives waiting for a non-existent ambulance, cops are shooting and killing 16, 19, 20 year old Roma kids, immigrants, poor people, allegedly in danger and self-defence, applying the racist doctrine of “first we execute and then we evaluate”, a la USA, where once again the toothless public fire protection proves inadequate, resulting in vast tracts of land being burned, hundreds of animals being killed directly or indirectly as their natural environments are destroyed, people watching a lifetime’s work go up in flames, where everyone and everything is measured in money, in compensation, wages, a bonus, a net of money thrown at the plebians, this suffocating reality testifies that the state and capitalist barbarity and violence are constant.

Greece, City of Patras : Taking responsibility for the attack on the French Consulate

From France to Greece… the flame of social revolt is their nightmare!

On the evening of Thursday 6th July we attacked the French Consulate in Patras while it was being guarded by police forces. A group of comrades moved under the nose of the police guard, which was on the spot with a cage set up to prevent an attack on the consulate, and threw bottles of red paint at it. The police forces were right in front of the building and when we appeared we pushed them away; as a result they ran and “calmly” hid behind the cage, in the words of their president.

Our action is dedicated to 17-year-old Nahel Merzouk who was murdered in cold blood on June 27 by the uniformed dogs of the French state and the other boy murdered in the social uprising that is shaking France. It is also a signal of internationalist solidarity with our class brothers and sisters who are rebelling in France and experiencing the violence of the state.

At this point, many anarchists in the US are already familiar with how tiqqunists destroyed the struggle at the Notre-Dame-des-Landes ZAD (Zone to Defend) occupation in France in favor of legalization and property ownership [1]. The narrative that this tragic conclusion to the decade-long struggle was actually a victory has been regurgitated ad nauseum by tiqqunist platforms in the US. For example, Ill Will Edition’s “The Strategy of Composition” is about applying this “strategy” to the struggle against Cop City: “The territorial phase of the struggle took shape gradually over a ten year period from 2008 until its eventual victory in 2018, and has since continued to nourish collective experiments on the Zone to this day”.

The next initiative of the ex-ZAD tiqqunists failed when those familiar with their methods of recuperation and authoritarianism sabotaged their attempts to take the vanguard of a ZAD located in Carnet. Comrades from the Carnet ZAD along with those from several other struggles co-authored a statement outlining the attempts at cooptation and centralization, which we included as an appendix in this zine as an inspiring example of anti-authoritarians making a struggle inhospitable to authoritarian power plays.

Swiss neutrality does not exist

Switzerland, which regards itself as neutral so it can maintain its privileged role as the world’s financial hub, actually bears a lot of responsibility for many wars around the world. The Swiss arms industry exports weapons everywhere, even to countries where there are armed conflicts. Lately it has even relocated some manufacturing facilities abroad so as to circumvent laws that would “ban” arms exports to countries at war, for example to Ukraine, aligning itself fully with NATO’s warmongering interventionist rhetoric.

Switzerland’s role as a financial marketplace and leading commodity trader makes this state a major player in the devastation of the planet and the plundering of the resources of countries in the global south, fueling conflicts and forcing people to leave their countries of origin. Not content with sowing misery all over the world, it prides itself with “defending” its borders against the migration “threat,” with its military guarding the borders and civil defense soldiers running deportation centers.

Today we decided to celebrate our independence from your destruction of the land for Cop City by torching two of your machines, a steam roller and a front end loader, in broad daylight across from the federal prison in Atlanta (the same site that was hit three months ago). We noticed that you only have overnight security there, and we just wanted to let you know that you and your machines will never be safe, night or day. If you thought it was chill to clearcut 80+ acres, you were wrong and you will fucking pay. You may have thought you were done with us, but we will never be done with you.
