We are still strolling at night in the streets of Berlin and in the early hours of March 17, Kyriakos was still with us. When we arrived at Bayerischer Platz in Berlin-Schöneberg, in front of the office of FERCHAU Aviation Group.

FERCHAU is a service company for IT-Engineering and it offers technical solutions to Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces) and other military defence industries in Europe. FERCHAU claim, that they are „Connecting People and Technologies for the Next Level“. They in fact develop products and systems for the machine of war, like „Legacy Transformation, Cyber-Security, Model Based Systems Engineering, Extended Reality and Data Analytics“. They do recruitment events with Bundeswehr to hire specialists for the drone war and they send specialists to maintain the Eurofighter Squadrons of NATO Air Force.

After barely nine months in existence, the occupation was evicted last November, under the false pretext of an investigation for weapons possession. At that point, excavators working for the Deutsche Bahn railway company began digging a path of devastation through the forest to build tracks and a station for commodities destined for the Gigafactory expansion. In the meantime, against the wishes of the local population, Tesla had not only obtained permission to expand its factory, but also a new water contract, allowing it to discharge even more toxic waste into the sewage system.

In short: everything’s going well for techno-fascist and fan of the far-right AfD party, Elon Musk.

But we weren’t going to stand idly by in the face of these facts either. The fight against Tesla has already given rise to many wonderful moments of resistance, and has shown that by combining different methods, even one of the world’s most powerful companies can be brought to its knees, at least temporarily. The Direct Action Cells take responsibility for the placing of an incendiary device at the entrance of the house of Eliza Wozemberg in the Varkiza area in the early morning hours of 26 February. We visited this piece of trash to place our small piece in the mosaic of acts of revenge against those who have cynically stained their hands with blood in the murder of 57 people in Tempe and have tried to cover each other’s asses in a coordinated manner. On 16th February we decided instead of partaking in the vomit enducing show of ‘romantic capitalism’ to break the windows of BAM construction in Stoke Gifford, Bristol.

BAM construction are one of the biggest construction companies internationally, who contribute to the Leviathan nightmare. We’re sick of seeing their lifeless glass and concrete buildings everywhere, there’s nothing wild and natural about these smart cityscapes.

BAM have their artificial hands on nearly every construction project you can name. Our minds cast back to their involvement in the construction of a ‘humane prison’ Dedermonde in Belgium. More locally they built the new Engineering building at the University of West England that contains its new robotics lab & they are also responsible for helping to construct the new ‘Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone.’ Another brick in the transformation of Bristol into a silicon valley of the UK, where technological and scientific startups along with hubs will be let to reign free.
