On Monday morning, the employees of Boomerang Design, Lexington, South Carolina arrived to a day off work. The night before, shadowy figures broke the glass door, let themselves inside, and smashed computers, printers, phones, office equipment, audio mixers, and every floor to ceiling window.

Usually, Boomerang employees would start their days designing the US’s next Cop City; drawing up the ranges where cops are taught to shoot our friends, the rooms where they’re taught to raid our neighbors.

Fire destroys Red Rock scale (Canada)

Early in the morning on December 24th, a fire destroyed the commercial inspection scale in Red Rock. This scale is located 35km south of Prince George on Highway 97.

The damage is estimated at $850,000.

This scale is one of 24 operated by CVSE (Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement) throughout the province. All the scales are shown below on a map.

KLM cars were slashed in solidarity with the prisoners in the detention center in Amsterdam( Netherlands)

On the night of December 31 during the solidarity demonstration at the detention center Schiphol Airport, the tires of 5 KLM cars were slashed this was in solidarity with the prisoners in the detention center next to the cars parking.

KLM is carrying out their deportations, among other things. There are numerous other good reasons to attack KLM together.

In the wealthy capital of Bavaria, Friday night (January 25) was anything but ordinary. Munich’s mayor, Dieter Reiter, who has seen it all from the perch where he administers his subjects, even issued an official statement declaring himself “horrified”. Does his statement refer to a war in the Middle East, or to the techno-industrial civilization poisoning the planet? Not in the least. But it’s nonetheless a nightmare that disrupted the sleep of good society: a nocturnal fire managed to make its way to their doorstep. Then it ravaged the tools of the lackeys charged with protecting them.

It was around 2.40 a.m., in the outlying district of Allach-Untermenzing, that zealous citizens began alerting the fire department to a gigantic fire in progress at the police dog brigade. By the time they arrived, the 23 police vans parked there were already completely engulfed in flames, while the (empty) brigade building was losing its windows to the heat. It took the Munich fire department almost an hour to extinguish the fire, while some 50 cops combed the area in vain for suspects.

Düsseldorf (Germany): the “Angry Birds Commando” and collapse…

[Note of Sans Nom: In Germany’s seventh-largest city, Düsseldorf, in the North Rhine-Westphalia region, the “Angry Birds Commando” is a regular topic of conversation.

In August 2024, for example, they claimed responsibility for setting fire to railway signal cables in Mettmann, adding to their previous sabotages against rail traffic: one in Düsseldorf in January 2024, and five others in the same city claimed in May 2023. And since the angry birds can also be generous, last September they published a little manual entitled “Kabel anzünden für Beginner” [“Setting fire to cables for beginners”], which contains a number of homemade delay techniques.

But let’s move on to more recent news: on Thursday night, shortly before 6 a.m. on Friday January 24, a fire broke out in a cable shaft near Eller station, a district in the south-east of Düsseldorf, interrupting rail traffic on the city’s most important freight line, as well as passenger line S1 between Düsseldorf and Solingen. This time, while the Angry Birds Commando’s communiqué no. 3 was written in rhyme, the one published the following day on de.indymedia and entitled “Switch off Deutsche Bahn – Communiqué no. 4” is in the form of an open letter. 

Below is a translation, which develops its own vision of collapse, as a contribution to the ongoing debates within the revolutionary movement.]

On Friday morning (January 24), we used tried-and-tested methods to take Düsseldorf’s most important freight line out of service for at least 12 hours. For at least 24 hours, its use was only possible with severe restrictions. In addition to the immediate economic damage, we would like to draw your attention to the following appeal. We would also like to apologize to the travelers affected, and hope that at least a few commuters were able to enjoy a day off as a result.

A violent fire ravages two company hangars

Le Dauphiné, November 28, 2024 (excerpt)

The alarm was sounded shortly before 2 a.m. on the night of Wednesday November 27 to Thursday November 28. A violent fire was ravaging buildings along the Route de Montélimar (RD 540), in La Bâtie-Rolland, east of Montélimar. On arrival on the scene, the fire department found two hangars of the Soterex company, part of the Poisson corporation, which specializes in public works in quarries, completely engulfed in flames.

A large-scale fire-fighting operation was launched. At the height of the response, almost 80 firefighters were engaged to fight the flames. For safety reasons, the nearby departmental road was closed to traffic. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but the damage was considerable. One of the two hangars housing equipment and two vans collapsed. Shortly after 2 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, twelve hours after the start of the fire, the blaze was not considered to have been extinguished.

Election Office Vandalism – Portland, OR (USA)

January 20, 2025

Portland police are still searching for multiple suspects seen vandalizing the Multnomah County Elections Office around 2 a.m. Monday.

A group of eight to 10 vandals smashed 33 windows and two doors at the elections office, located near Southeast 10th Avenue and Morrison Street. Crews worked until 9 a.m. to clean the glass and graffiti.

Surveillance footage provided by Multnomah County shows vandals dressed in mostly gray or black all wearing hoodies, throwing rocks and other heavy objects through the windows.

This Rose Has Thorns 2024: A year of anarchic attacks in so-called Portland (USA)

A few years ago, in the aftermath of the George Floyd rebellion in Portland, a zine was made chronicling the autonomous attacks that proliferated across the city as public demonstrations increasingly became a dead end.

Feeling inspired by the daring attacks against authority that occurred in 2024, we decided to create an (incomplete) compilation zine. Some of the attacks listed here were explicitly claimed by anarchists, while others were done by perpetrators with
unknown motivations, but whose actions we think are of
interest to anarchists. All of the attacks mentioned here took
place outside of publicly announced events.

Here’s to a 2025 full of joy and destruction! Long Live Anarchy!

The 3rd issue of the anarcho-nihilist/insurrectionary newspaper “Blessed Is The Flame” has been published. Its pages contain reports of direct actions, claims of responsibility, texts, poems, and news from anarchist prisoners and trials that were published in November and December 2024 in ten different languages across various parts of the world, or were sent to us via email and are being published for the first time. (Some of the texts published for the first time will also be uploaded as standalone posts on our blog, blessed-is-the-flame.espivblogs.net.)

Our goal is not only to break down the linguistic barriers that hinder information, solidarity, and the dissemination of propaganda by the deed on an international level but also to give counter-information a printed form. We believe it is crucial for counter-information to transcend the limits of the digital realm.

Celebrate with Fire (Canada)

Cameras were blocked, tactics practiced and sharpened, trust and affinity were built and clarified. Taking advantage of these dark and long nights, a festive crew piled up some scavenged Christmas trees, blocking the CN tracks on the property of Ray-Mont Logistics in Hochelaga’s Terrain Vague.

A big bonfire and joyful celebration ensued, and we made an escape before the security guards made their regular rounds – with meters high flames burning into the skyline long after we left.

In a recent speech NATO chief Mark Rutte warned that “we are not ready for what is coming our way in four to five years,” and that Europe needs to “shift to a wartime mindset and turbocharge defense production and defense spending.” While NATO prepares for the war to come, arms companies worldwide make millions on war that is already here, and millions of migrants flee from wars present and past.

We as anarchists must ask ourselves how we will act, today and tomorrow. Will we complain online about the latest outrage or join those marching in circles begging the politicians for crumbs; to do something, anything, other than funding these merchants of death? Or will we take matters into our own hands? Organizing mutual aid for those displaced by conflict, climate and the economy. Blockading and sabotaging the arms companies that make war, colonialism, and genocide possible in the first place. On the first day of christmas some anarchists chose to do the latter.

Police and City-Owned Vehicles Targeted in Two Arson Attacks (Baltimore, Maryland, USA))

Police say a fire that destroyed a city-owned vehicle parked across the street from Baltimore City Hall on Thanksgiving Day was an act of arson.

That city vehicle, was parked next to the Councilman Harry S. Cummings Building in the 400 block of East Fayette Street. Officers were alerted to the fire around 9:40 p.m., according to authorities.
